Sasuke's POV

"Did you hear?"

"Hear what?"

"About the new transfers! One is a senior and one is a sophomore. They're so hot!"

"Oh yeah! Aren't they related or something?"

"They have to be! Their genes are holy!"

This is so annoying. I've been hearing about these new "hot transfer students" all morning now. Who can they possibly be? They're probably not even as good looking as me anyway. So what's the big deal?

The bell rang, which meant it was finally lunch time. I got up from my seat, and walked out the classroom. The hallways were crowded with annoying and noisy kids. I rolled my eyes and walked through them without caring who I bumped in to.

No one had the balls to say anything to me anyway.

As I reached the cafeteria, the first person I made eye contact with was Sakura, one of my many annoying fangirls.

"Oh Sasuke!" I heard her yell. She was running towards me at the speed of light. I wanted to run away, but that won't look so manly now would it.

Right when she was about to reach me, Ino, another one of my fangirls, bumped in to her side, making her fall. While she was panting, Ino gave me a bright smile.

Right when she was about to speak, Sakura spoke while getting back on her feet. "What the hell Ino! I was trying to talk to Sasuke you pig!"

"Like I was going to let that happen, billboard brow!"

They started bickering and I saw that as my chance to get away. And that's exactly what I did. I didn't feel like eating so I just sat at my usual table, which had Neji, Kiba, and Shikamaru already sitting at it.

"Sasuke, my man, how's it going?" Kiba said, holding his hand out, waiting for me to clap him up.

As much as I didn't want to, I clapped him up and said, "everyone's annoying as usual," as a response.

I really don't like Kiba. I can tolerate Neji and Shikamaru but Kiba was on a whole different level of annoying. He always smelled like dog and was too loud all the time. On top of that he never knew when to shut the hell up.

Plus, I can never forgive what he did to him. And what he made me do to him.

Unfortunately, I can't let him know that.

"Typical Sasuke. Anyway, have you heard about the transfer students?" Shikamaru said.

"It's been the talk of the school all morning. Who hasn't heard about them?" Neji retorted.

"Ugh. What's so special about them anyway? I'm getting irritated at people constantly mentioning them." I groaned.

"Well according to the girls, they're cousins who have 'hair brighter than the sun and eyes bluer than an ocean' or some shit like that." Neji explained.

Hair brighter than the sun, huh? Doesn't that sound super familiar?

But he wouldn't come back to this shithole anyway.

"Well, I say, we give them both a nice greeting." Kiba said, adding emphasis on the word 'nice'.

"Sounds too bothersome." Shikamaru said, putting his head down right after.

"For once I agree with his laziness." Neji said.

I just stared at him as he continued to talk. "C'mon boys. At this school, power is everything. The stronger you are the higher you stand. And we, my friends, stand at the very top. We're the hierarchy!" Kiba said

As much as I hate to say it, everything he said was accurate. This school was like some type of monarchy. It's been like that since middle school and it's seriously stupid.

"So all I'm saying is, we need to teach these transfer students their places But we don't have control over upperclassmen. So I don't think we can even touch the senior. That's for the hierarchy of the seniors to handle. However, the sophomore's a different story." Kiba said while smirking.

"Well, why don't you just go, Kiba? Surely, we don't need to gang up on one transfer." Neji suggested.

"He's right." Shikamaru said with his head still down. I really thought he fell asleep.

"Man, you guys are no fun. Fine, I'll do it myself then. After school." Kiba said with that stupid grin plastered on his face.

"What a drag," Shikamaru said. It's his signature catch phrase.

The bell rang right after he said that. I got up, said my goodbyes and went to the rest of my classes.

The uneventful day went by slowly until it was time for dismissal. I grabbed my stuff from my locker and walked towards the gate ready to leave. That was, until I heard..

"Oh my god! Kiba's getting beat up right now!"

"By who?!"

"That cute transfer kid!"

"Just who is he?!"

Now that caught my interest. Kiba is a very obnoxious person but his strength is the real deal. I was curious to see just who could beat him up so easily.

I jogged to the back of the school, where I assumed the fight would take place. When I got there, there was a group of kids huddled together, all trying to see what's going on in the middle of the circle. Some were also trying to catch it on video.

I started to make my way through the  crowd. Once I got to the front I couldn't believe my eyes.

Kiba was on his stomach, with purple bruises and bumps all over his face, almost about to pass out. There was a foot set on his back, but it obviously wasn't Kiba's foot.

I looked up to see the person, then I froze for a minute.

The blonde hair, the blue eyes, and those three whisker marks set on the tan skin of his cheeks. It was him. He was here. He came back.

Naruto Uzumaki came back.

His eyes didn't have the sparkle it did back then. Instead they looked duller, and a little lifeless. His lips were formed in a scowl, something I've never seen him do. Although he just won a fight, he looked.. depressed.

Then, he looked up and saw me. Direct eye contact was made. I became paralyzed, once again, under his gaze. He looked shocked to see me, but that shocked expression faded away within a second. It was replaced by an annoyed one. He rolled his eyes at me and looked away.

Who knew a mere facial expression and eye roll could feel like a stab to the heart.

Just then, a wave of emotions hit me like a truck as I felt tears start to well up in my eyes. I couldn't let anyone see me cry, so I ran away as quick as possible to the nearest bathroom.

I had all these mixed emotions going through me right now. Joy, sadness, guilt, they were all punching me in the face.

He's back. He's really back.
