"There's been a murder in a hotel. Your gloves, and your camera" Noah hands me as I get out of the car.
I nod and hug him tightly, saying goodbye, and following the team towards the van.
"We're sorry about yesterday Kara. We know Noah might have shouted at you" Conner says as I sit inside
"It's okay. Noah cares about me. He's the second father figure in my life,when dad's not around, so it'd understandable. He was okay after I made him food" I smile and Mike nods.
The car stops after 10 minutes. We all get out next to a 5 star hotel. I follow Mike inside, as Conner talks to the receptionist.
"Who's been murdered?" I ask Mike
"Some girl" he says as we follow Conner to the elevator.
I see Dennis walk out of the hotel, just as the elevator doors close.
What? Dennis?
I shake my head, following everyone out of the elevator.
We walk towards a room, and the first thing I see is Susie laying on the bed, pale.
"Guy, she's the girl from last night" beth mumbles
Dennis.
I walk out of the room and down the stairs.
I run out of the lobby to see if I can find Dennis.
Neighbours.
I call for a taxi.
If it's him, they're all going to jail.

I knock on their door.
After a couple of knocks, the door opens and I see Seth.
He smirks.
"Kara Knight. What can we do for you?" He leans on the door,blocking my way.
"I need to talk to Dennis. Now" I say and he chuckles
"Dennis. Lover girl is here for you!" He shouts
Lover girl? What? These guys are crazy.
Dennis walks downstairs.
"Kara. What's wrong?" He asks walking closer to me.
"Can I come inside and talk to you about the hotel that you just left?" He nods slowly,pushing Seth inside.
I follow him to a living room. I sit down on the grey couch, as he stands up.
"Do you want anything to drink?" I shake my head
"Did you kill Susie?" He frowns at me.
"Do I look like the type of person to kill anyone?" He raises his eyebrow.
"Yes" I say
"Well no. I didn't kill her. What I did was go and meet a girl in the hotel for personal reasons" he says rubbing his neck
I nod, as my phone rings. It's Max.I reject the call and stand up.
"Let's just forget this ever happened okay?" I walk towards the door but he grabs my hand. I turn around, pulling my hand out of his.
"Are you a cop? Like your boyfriend?" He asks
"No. And that's my brother. If you know my name, then you should know that it's my brother Noah. " He nods
"Noah Knight." He mumbles and I nod
"And no I'm not a cop. I just have a gun for safety, which you can understand why because of my family." He nods
"Then why do you appear at murder scenes? You're a detective" he says
"I'm not. Those people I met are Noah's assistants. I just get bored at home, so Noah said I can go with them, as I like to take pictures. Anything else you want to ask?" He shakes his head
"Just stay away from us. It'll be better for you. But if you see anyone you don't know, trying to take you, call me" he pulls out a paper from his pocket, handing me it.
"Are you guys a gang? Like the mafia?" I blurt out.
He smiles.
"Nope" he places the paper in my hand.
"Just call me if you can't call Noah. I'll be there as soon as I can" he looks behind me.
I turn around and see Dimitri leaning against the wall.
"Kare-bear" he smirks.
"It's Kara" he chuckles
"I know. Do you want a drink? At least I have manners to offer you something. Not like what you did" he crosses his arms
"I don't offer things to bad guys" he chuckles again.
"Do I look like a bad guy to you." I nod as he pushes himself off the wall and walks closer to me.
I step back.
"Dennis, leave" he says.
Dennis leaves, closing the door behind him.
Dimitri sits down on the couch.
"Did you come to see me?" He asks
"No. I came to see Dennis. And now I'm leaving" he chuckles as I walk towards the door.
"Kare-bear stop. I have to ask you something?" I look at him,my hand on the door knob.
"I want you to stay away from us. We maybe be neighbours, but we're nothing alike" he becomes serious.
"That wasn't a question" he smirks.
"Will you stay away then?" He asks
"Always" I walk out of the room, ignoring his laughter.
I walk out of the house to see Noah getting out of his car.
"Kara!" He walks towards me.
"Yes?" I smile
"I-I bitch" he crosses his arms turning away from me.
"I know you were worried Noah, but I had something to ask these guys." He sighs
"No pizza for you" he mumbles
"What did you have to ask them?" He turns to me.
"I thought that maybe Dennis killed the girl, but he was busy with a girl- he said personal reasons. And then Dimitri stopped me." He frowns
"Dimitri? Dimitri Cooper?" He asks and I shrug
"No. I don't know?" He sighs
"Come with me Kara" he grabs my hand and walks to our house. He opens the door and pulls me inside. I close it quickly, following him upstairs.
We walk towards his room, and he let's go of my hand, going towards his desk.
He comes back with a file in his hand and sits down on the bed.
"You don't know who Dimitri Cooper is do you?" I shake my head sitting down on the bed opposite him.
"He's like Robin Hood. Robin Hood takes money off rich people and gives it out to poor people. Dimitri Cooper takes drugs, weapons, illegal products and gets rid of them. He's always worked alone. He's involved with gangs, street fighters as well. You can say that he's like the good mafia dude" my eyes widen
"So you think it's this Dimitri? Noah this guy has nothing on that guy. I swear this one is just a player. Don't you have any pictures or anything?" Noah sighs putting all the papers back into the files.
"The police has been trying to look for him for years. He's very good at hiding his tracks. We have spotted him on CCTV cameras, but he always wears a hood or a mask. The police has waited for him at random spots, but he has people around him, that let him get away as they fight the cops. We do know that he has a family, that he visits every Sunday." He says and I nod slowly.
"You better go back to work. I'll stay here. I'm not in the mood today" I mumble as he nods
He walks out of the room,and I hear the door close downstairs.
I walk towards my room, and fall on to the bed.
Dimitri? Maybe he is.
One way to check.
I stand up and walk towards my balcony.
I see Dennis walk out of the house with Dimitri behind him.
"Dimitri Cooper" I shout but they don't stop. Maybe they have headphones on. Just then Dennis looks at me,and then he stops.
He whispers something to Dimitri. He chuckles.
"You go then. I'll get the groceries" he says
Dennis walks back inside the house again. Dimitri looks up at me.
"Do you want anything?" He asks and I smile.
"I have a few questions" he crosses his arms, leaning on his car, and looking up at me.
"Well, I have a few minutes to answer them, while shopping" I nod
"Two seconds" I close the french doors, and grab my gun. I place it in my pocket, and walk out of the room.
I grab my camera, and wear the strap around my head.
I walk out of the house and he frowns at me.
"Not that thing again." He says to me.
"My camera is coming as well." He sighs walking on the pavement with me.
He stuffs his hands in his pocket, and looks at me.
"What's your questions?" I look at my camera.
"You told me to never talk to you, but you talked to me first. Why?" I say
He shrugs.
"You make life interesting." I feel my face heat up.
"Are you blushing kare-bear?" He smirks and I roll my eyes
"No. Next question. Can I call you DC?" I look at him.
He chuckles.
"You're a clever girl kare-bear." I smile
"I know Cooper" he shakes his head slightly.
"I can kill you right now" he looks at me. I frown.
"Will you?" He shakes his head
"Like I said kare-bear, you make life more interesting" we stop next to a groceries shop.
"You wait here,and I'll get a few things, and then come back." I nod leaning against the wall as he walks inside.
I have no idea why I'm talking to him. He's is Dimitri Cooper. And it took me like two minutes to figure it out, and these cops? Stupid cops, I can do a better job than them.
I see a couple of huge guys walk towards me. They stop in front of me.
"Is it her?" One of them asks.
"It is me what?" I ask
"Do you know a guy called Dimitri Michael?" I shake my head
"Nope" they pull out a picture and place it next to my head.
"Let's just take her. She's Kara Knight" they grab my arm.
"Fellows,do we have a problem here?" Dimitri walks out of the shop with a bag in hand. He places it down next to me, and pulls the guys hand off my arm.
"Dimitri Michael" the guy smirks
Michael?
"Let's take this somewhere else" Dimitri walks around the shop with them behind him.
I stayed where I was, listening to the noises I could hear. Groans. Grunts.
After a couple of minutes, Dimitri came back rubbing his hands.
"Do you want to play doctor on me? I won't mind" he smirks at me.
I look at his hand,and notice blood.
"Let's go" I pick up the bag. He takes it off me, and grabs my hand, pulling me behind him.
"Why do you do this Dimitri?" I ask softly.
He knows he can get hurt. Not that I care but I mean, Noah said he has family. His family must care right?
"It doesn't concern you kare-bear" he let's go of my hand. I follow him slowly and silently as we get home.
He stops outside my lawn, and turns to me.
"This is the last time we talk. Dennis will make sure you're out of danger. You're boyfriend will make sure you're out of danger as well. This time I mean it kare-bear, I don't know you and you don't know me" he turns around and starts walking towards his door.
"He's not my boyfriend. He's my brother" I say and he smirks at me.
"Good to know" he walks inside his house.
This place is more confusing. I live next to a confused Robin Hood.
