His number #1 favorite hero if he had to pick a hero that is.
Anywhere he would go, you can always see the young pharaoh carefully walking behind him. Always willing to help him out in anyway he can to make his job easier. After all, his tablet is the reason everything came to life.
It was only fair he'd help, right?
In the other exhibits eyes it was clear you could see the brightness that shined in the young pharaoh's eyes whenever he'd be near the security guard. Like that of a young child so happy to see their hero or parent.
Larry no doubt most likely saw ahkmenrah as a son of sorts. Sure ahkmenrah came from Egypt some long long time ago but he still was a kid and with his own son growing up to no longer needing him it seems. He'd always have the young pharaoh, always protective of him and always happy to see him.
The first thing he'd ever do when at work; he'd of course make sure rexy was taken care of before immediately heading to the pharaoh's area of the museum to let him out. Knowing how the pharaoh felt being trapped within it wasn't a good thing.
The two are quite an inseparable duo. A father and son despite the lack of actually being blood related.
But then again...doesn't matter if your blood related or not. Family is family no matter what.
