Gojo took Kyoko to the restaurant of the same resort they were staying at. It had the same type of setting Sukuna did for their first date
"Rich people always likes to book the whole restaurant I guess. Sukuna-sama did the same and so did Yuta-kun "
Kyoko thought while walking
"Do you like it baby?"
She smiled up at him
"Yes I do. But you didn't need to book the whole restaurant tho"
Gojo tilted his head like a confused puppy
"How did you know I booked the whole restaurant?"
"You people have a tendency to do this a lot. I know. Your cousin, kohai and Sukuna-sama did the same "
For the first time in his life, Gojo was kinda speechless
When he got two soulmarks, he thought it would be hard to manage two, and here is one of his soulmates, who has 7 soulmates yet looks like she doesn't have a care of this world
"You look so chilled. Isn't it hard to manage 7 soulmates?"
She looked like was thinking about something. And that something was not the question he asked, she's been absentminded from the time they left the room
"Not really. It's actually fun. I can have much more emotional support then anyone I know. My soulmates adore me. And there is nothing to manage "
"There's nothing to manage?"
"No, the only one who's clingy is Yuji-kun. Other than that, all are well matured. So there is nothing to manage. They talk to each other before setting up dates and anything else. The only one I need to manage time to see is Kento-kun. Everyone is at school with me all the time"
Again, Gojo was kinda speechless. Everything sounds so normal when she says it like that. He could tell that she was just used to it, so he didn't question too much
They sat down on the chair before
"kyoko-chan?"
She looked up at him
"I had another soulmate"
Gojo said, although his tone was cheery, kyoko could tell he was a little uncomfortable
"I know"
"You do?"
Gojo asked, a little surprised
"My father is basically your assistant. And my father never hides anything from our family. So I do know most about you"

He didn't talk for a moment. Kyoko found it a little unusual as he couldn't shut his mouth ten minutes ago but didn't question him

Then both started to talk about their other soulmates, kyoko told him mostly about Sukuna and kento (of course leaving parts they didn't want him to know) since he was mostly interested about them

Kyoko sweat dropped again
"Well, he told me you're the one who forced them to join jujutsu high, manipulated Yuji-kun and didn't let him do what he wanted. So it's pretty reasonable if he hates you if you ask me"
Gojo snorted
"I guess you're right. But I just couldn't let the king of curses go around like that and letting him do what he wants? I am pretty sure that would be massacre "
Kyoko rolled her eyes with a smile
"No it wouldn't. He's a changed man. He's doing so much for Yuji-kun. Can't you see?"
Gojo hummed, smiling at her joyful giggle
"Won't you tell me about Geto-san?"
Kyoko asked
"Well he was my soulmate.... My best friend. The only friend I ever had..... really. I don't know how it all got so out of hand..... But...
"He went rouge"
Kyoko finished his sentence
He just absentmindedly nodded
"I don't even know where I went wrong -

Now he looked up at her,
"I didn't?"
"No you didn't, you had nothing to do in it. You can't change anyone's mindset. Neither can you follow someone around like a puppy. You're a busy man and he had to understand that"
Kyoko didn't know this, but Gojo was really defensive about Geto. So like always, he said in a rather harsh tone
"Don't talk about something you don't know"
Although kyoko was taken aback, she didn't show it. Her face was rather neutral
"Did I say something wrong? I just said you couldn't change anyone's thinking and beliefs"
"He wasn't like that before. He was better the-
"Because he hadn't gone through anything yet then. It's easy to say heroic words when you haven't faced real life yet. I am just saying that"
Gojo frowned his brows in displeasure
At first, this girl was so sweet and now all of a sudden, she was talking about his dead soulmate like this
"Sukuna-
"That's a low blow Gojo-san "
He blinked a few times when she glared at him
"Just because you are my soulmate doesn't mean I will allow you to disrespect any of the others. They are some of the most dearest in my life "
Kyoko took a deep breath, still very much displeased and offended
" Many of the jujutsu sorcerers tried to kill Sukuna-sama in the Hein era. What do you expect him to behave with you? I think it's his kindness that he is even helping you. And don't bring up his past. He is Itadori Sukuna now, not Ryomen Sukuna."
Again, Gojo was surprised but he also didn't like how she talked about Geto so he also went on
"See, I talked about your soulmate and you're getting mad, how do you think I feel when you talk like that about my soulmate and best friend? Geto was my only friend, kyoko. I won't let you or anyone put him down "
Kyoko sighed,
' maybe this is why papa wouldn't want him to be my soulmate '
"Gojo-san didn't say anything about your soulmate. I just said you couldn't have done anything in his... Whatever he did"
Kyoko sighed again, this was getting embarrassing for her, because all the waiters who served them heard that they were arguing. Now they were whispering to themselves, maybe about her and her soulmate

This was Kyoko's breaking point. She was trying to get him down but if he really wanted this in the hard way then he can have it
"Why? Why is was he your only best friend or friend in general, Gojo-san? Why didn't you have any more friends?"

Kyoko looked at him for a moment, a long moment before sighing
"You're hopeless. So you only make friends baised on their strength?... So it doesn't matter if the person helps you or is nice to you or what their personalities are, if their not not strong, you won't consider them as your friend?"
She saw how he opened his mouth, yet couldn't argue back. Because there wasn't anything to argue back
Kyoko shook her head again
"You know, you were never alone. You had friends. You had your teacher that you could go and talk to, you had my father always with you..... You had Shoko-san. She told me you are her best friend, so was Geto-san... But none of you ever considered them as a option...."
Now he was just looking down, not knowing what to say
It was quite for a moment
Kyoko just sat there, dishearted as ever. She was trying hard not to cry
"Do you think you'll always be like this?"
He tilted his head, not understanding what she was saying
"Look I don't know if you understand what a soulmate means but it means you have to live with them for the rest of your lives. If we do that, that means we will have kids in the future. Will also tell them that you could only be friends with your equals?"
He was quite taken aback when she said this. He never even thought about kids before she mentioned it

Was all he said and that was the final strike for kyoko

She got up
"I think we should think this again, Gojo-san. Clearly yours and my priorities are completely different. I am not even close to as strong as you are. Which is a major turn down for, you I think. So please, excuse me. "
With that she left
He was left speachless for a moment. Then sighed and brought his fist on his mouth. The whole situation finally drowning in his head
