"Are you excited about the dance just as I am?" Tori asks us
"Yes I can't wait! I'm going to bust out my killer dance moves." Niall states
A few seconds pass and then we all bust out laughing causing the class to stare at us in confusion. Some in anger.
Haters.
"I'm just kidding, the only thing I'll be busting is my pants from eating too much." Niall says in between breaths
"You got that right." I mumble under my breath
"Huh?" Niall turns to me
"Hm? Nothing, nothing." I smile sweetly at him
"So, who are you going with?" We all turn our heads to Steven with shocked expressions
"You're actually socializing with us!?" Tori has her mouth wide open
"Are you sick? How are ya feeling? Oh no...you're dying aren't ya." Niall strokes Steven's head as he asks him loads of questions
"Guys I'm fine. I'm actually pretty excited about the dance." Steven smiles
"Wow, really? I miss one period for a dentist appointment and come back to a social Steven." Tori shakes her head and sighs
"I'm still the antisocial bookworm guys, but guess what." He pushes his glasses up his nose and smiles evilly at us
"What?" We all say together
"I'm going to be the DJ!" Steven raises the roof
I was not expecting that.
"The DJ? How are you the DJ?" I ask curiously
"You have perks being the smart kid in school Livie." He rubs his hands evilly together
"Lily." I correct him
"What?"
"You called me Livie, my name is Lily..." I give him a blank stare
"No I didn't." Steven shakes his head disagreeing with me
"I thought you were the smartest kid in school. Shouldn't you know a bunch of stuff?" I ask him playfully
"Yes I do, thank you." He lifts his head up
"Obviously not. You don't even know a single name." I tease him
"What did you say?" Steven asks me, not in a rude way
"Forget it." I wave him off
Steven just shrugs and listens in to the conversation that Niall and Tori are having.
As weird as it sounds, I actually like them together despite my very, very small liking towards Niall. Niall and Tori. Tori and Niall. A couple. It seems like they have been best friends forever. They can be the next Cory and Topanga.
"Niall, when you get old you are going to be the worlds most fattest guy. You need to find a sport or hobby." Tori scolds him
"When I'm fat and old, I don't need sports or hobbies because I'll be rich." He then makes a creepy face
"Oh that's attractive." I say sarcastically causing Niall to turn his gaze to me
"I wasn't trying to be attractive I was trying to be scary." Niall turns to me with the same face

"Well you need to work on it because it looks like you're constipated." I giggle
"Oh, aren't you nice." He says sarcastically
"I'll have you know I'm the nicest person around mister." I whisper, leaning closer to his face with my finger pointing at him
"No, you're actually quite mean." Niall mocks me, leaning closer to me as well
Something catches my attention in the corner of my eye, making me avert my gaze to the door.
"Luke?" I whisper, only to myself
"Repeat please?" Niall starts to turn his head to follow my gaze but I quickly grab his head
"No! I, uh. Oh look! Tori and Steven are having a conversation about....nachos!" Niall's eyes widen and he focuses in on their convo
I wasn't actually sure if they were talking about nachos but I guess they were since he hasn't accused me of lying...weirdos.
I remember about Luke and look back at the door.
I see him glaring at me and it's quite terrifying. He brings up his hand and motions for me to come out. I nod and hold up one finger, indicating a second.
"I'll be back." I inform them but I doubt they're listening
I walk over to Ms.LoudMouth and clear my throat.
"May I use the bathroom please, it's an emergency." She's on her phone reading. No wonder we don't do anything.
"Yeah sure." Even when she's not yelling she's still loud
I briskly walk to the door and step out. Suddenly I'm pulled to the side and pushed into the locker, coming face-to-face with a ticked off Luke.
"Uh, hi?" I frown
"What were you and Bile doing?" His face is super close to mine but I don't mind, his breath smells like mint. Yum.
Lily this is not the time!
"His name is Niall." I correct him
He rolls his eyes at that and grabs my upper arm making my frown become deeper.
He takes us into a space between a wall and a locker.
"What was the point of that?" I ask
"So no one can see us and we won't get caught Einstein." He replies
"Well, I won't get caught because I'm leaving." I start to stand up straight and walk out but Luke blocks me with his arm
I gasp and turn to him with my eyes wide. It doesn't last long since I go right back to glaring.
"Can you hurry up and tell me why I'm out here so I can go back to class. Please." I cross my arms and lean against the wall
"As I was saying, what were you and Niall doing." He emphasis Niall this time
"Nothing, I don't know what you're talking about!" I whisper-yell
We are in the hallway. I don't want to get caught from the teachers because they hear yelling.
"I was just walking down the hallway cause I had to take a piss,"
I know it's not a time for laughter, but that word is hilarious. Ha...piss.
"Then all of a sudden I see you and Bile all close together!" He explains a little to loudly
"Keep your voice down!" I say in a hushed tone
"I could care less about my voice! What were you doing!?" He's going to make me cry from all of this yelling
"You're acting like we're dating, which we are not!"
At this point we are both yelling.
"That's because you're a good girl and you're afraid of being caught. What about me? My mum expects me to be a good Luke and have good grades, to be a brilliant math person. Not focus on a stupid little crush because of what happened with Cassandra. I would risk it so why can't you!"
A single tear rolls down my cheek and I push Luke's arm out of the way with how much force I could give. I storm out of the hallway and actually go to the bathroom. I can't go back in there crying, Niall and Tori would ask too many questions.
I go to the mirror and wipe off my face with a damp paper towel then dry off.
I'm just his stupid little crush. The naive good girl. This doesn't mean anything. Wait a minute, what am I doing. I'm only in middle school. School comes first, my parents always told me that. I don't need relationships or Luke. I don't know what was I thinking that this could be forever. This is an once in lifetime kind of deal but I'm not taking it. After all I am a good girl. Maybe he should go back to Cassandra, risk it with her. Yeah, I think that's best.
I nearly scream when I see Luke behind me in the dirty glass.
I rub my eyes to make sure he's real. I'm not saying this has happened before or anything...
"I'm real Lily." He chuckles lightly
Oh that's cool. He's in the girls bathroom. Just a normal day chilling in the girls bathroom with a boy who's confusing me.
"Luke I'm not in the mood to talk right now." I sniff and walk towards the exit
I didn't even make a foot out since he grabs my hand this time instead of my arm. Which kind of hurt by the way.
"But I want to talk." He pouts
Even though I'm a little sad he's still cute.
"No, we can talk later. People probably think we are pooping or something. We should be in class learning, goodbye Luke." I let go of his hand and walk away from him
