I sometimes wanted to go home. Even when I used to be at home. Now that I think about it, I think home isn't always a place, it could be a thing, a person or a feeling. A feeling of seeing light in the window before the dawn arrives, cuddling with your partner on a winter morning, feeling safe. For me, That was home.
And the sad part was, that I hadn't ever experienced it.
I had not once in my life felt safe in my own house. For me, my biggest danger were my parents.
My guardians.
Maybe I deserve it. Maybe all the beatings and words dad said to me were true. Just maybe. Because there was no way, I had done so many crimes in my previous life that I was paying for them since I was eight. That my own parents despised me so much.
I'm just happy that Dari doesn't hurt me, he doesn't even scold me. He doesn't talk much but okay! Atleast he doesn't beat me up!!

"Yo!" I wave at one of Dari's minions. He always have a grave expression on his face, like his grandma died. Oops, sorry grandma. As soon as he sees me, he turns his head towards me. Why are his glasses bigger than his head? . He just gives me a nod and goes back to looking straight.
"Why don't you ever smile? Does dari cut off your salary? Do you want me to talk to him?" I whisper the last part to him, but I was basically talking to his chest.
Why are all the men here so tall?
He cleared his throat but didn't speak anything.
*Gasp* Meanie.
"K then, bye buddy" I wave his goodbye as I continue hopping towards Dari's office. Dari had almost ten of his minions standing after ever five steps as I walked towards his office. I wave at each of them and they all bend forward nodding at me, what if their heads clash together. Hehe
"May I come in?" I ask, poking my head in his office again.
Dari was seated on his desk with so many files infront of him. His glasses, which I saw him wearing for the first time, rested on his nose and his white shirt was rolled up, exposing his tatted veiny arms. His shirt was slightly unbuttoned displaying his gold chain and tattoos. His thick long fingers typed something on the laptop and his rings gleamed through the lights.
"Yes little wife?" He looked up from the screen. His stormy grey eyes covered with those transparent glasses. I gulp and shut the door behind us, waking up to him.
"Hi" I smile. His eyes softened and he spoke in his raspy voice after two seconds,
"Hey baby" woah! WOAH!
I think I am going to pass out, but that's okay! Atleast my husband called me 'baby'. He's so hot!
"Hi" I grin and take a seat on the chair infront of his.
"Can I ask you something?" He nodded and gestured me to go on,
"Do you cut your Minion's salary if they smile?" I whispered not wanting to be loud. I don't want anyone to get hurt because of my words, oh! Wait. His room is soundproof.
I'm dumb like that!
"Minions?" He furrowed his thick black brows and I told him who his minions was.
"No little wife. Why did they do something?" He asked suddenly, In all seriousness. He straightened up and his eyes flared with anger. Like a fire ignited in them.
Calm down buddy!
"No, no. It's just that Y'know they don't smile at all. I wave at them but they simply nod hmm rude. Do they not have teeth? Are the insecure ? Please tell that they all very pretty, just if they smile........Also why do they always wear that black suit, can't they wear something like.....yes! Yellow and purple and pink. Y'know , bright colours. They're all so dull and boring. Please don't tell them I said that, I don't want them to hate me."
He listened to everything I said very carefully. A soft smirk resting on his face ,dimples, as his eyes gazed into mine. Stormy grey ones meet the forest green ones.
"Hmm, I'll talk to them, si?"
"By talk do you mean threatening them with a gun pointed at their heads?" The door suddenly opened and the same begger we saw at our wedding came inside.
He was dressed up in a white shirt tucked in beige pants, his brown hair were neatly brushed and he walked inside his office with a grin on his face.
"Hello pretty lady" He smiled and extended his hand towards me.
I give him a weird look and turn to dari for help who was busy glaring at him. Shall I poke my tongue at him?
"Who are you mister?" I ask folding my arms over my chest.
I just reach his chest but that's okay! I can still pew pew him.
"Oh, my bad. Let me introduce myself, hi! My dearest sister-in- law. It's this grumps cousin in flesh"
Oh? And I thought he's a .... nevermind.
"Oh! Um.....hi! My name is reverie but you can call me rev. It's so good to meet you" I stand up, shaking my hands with him.
"Aww you're so cute rev" He cooed pulling my cheeks. Oo
"Her name is Reverie. So call her by her fucking name and the fuck you doing here, stronzo" Dari growled and I suddenly felt extremely concious and a familiar feeling set inside my tummy. My breathing became quick and my legs started to go weak. (Translation: asshole)
"Fanculo merda, I- I didn't mean to shout, little wife. I'm so so sorry baby. Please don't....fuck" Dari's gentle voice hushed in my ears. His warm Possessive arms wrapped around my body, rubbing my back cautiously. (Translation: fuck, shit)
"I-Im...I'm okay. I will be fine. You did n-nothing wrong. Pl-please just .......don't hurt me" I fumble upon my words. Unsure of how he would react if I act a little scared. Dad hated it.
"No, merda. I could never hurt you pretty girl. Please just, are you okay?" He asked cupping my cheeks with his calloused hands. I look into his stone grey eyes and nod. He let out a breath of relief and turned towards the other man, glaring at him.
"Meet me outsid you Figlio di puttana" oops? (Translation: son of a bitch)
