𝚗𝚎𝚠 𝚘𝚛𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚗𝚜, 𝚕𝚘𝚞𝚒𝚜𝚒𝚊𝚗𝚊

After packing her entire room Klaus carried her belongings to his car, refusing to let Brinley carry anything. She didn't even bother getting changed since she'd more than likely go straight to bed when they got there anyway.

Brinley grabbed her purse from off her stripped plain mattress, she looked around the now bare room empty of all her things.

"You don't have to go with him you know?" Hayley spoke up from the doorway

"I know. I want to." Brinley said turning around to face her friend

"I'm sorry about everything." Hayley apologized and Brinley sighed

"Hayley you're my friend but I'm in love with Klaus and I'm carrying his children. I know you don't like him and that's fine you don't have to, but if you want to be a part of these babies life then you need to find a way to tolerate him." Brinley said and Hayley sighed but nodded

"I'll try my best." Hayley said and Brinley nodded

"That's all I ask." Brinley said, "I better go before Klaus thinks you're keeping me hostage."

"Yeah." Hayley nodded before sighed and reaching forward to pull Brinley into a hug. "Call me ok? At least let me know you're alright."

"I will. Watch out for Elijah and Rebekah for me." Brinley instructed and Hayley nodded as they pulled away

"I will. Keep Klaus in line, you seem to be the only person in the world he'll listen to." Hayley said and Brinley chuckled but nodded

Brinley gave Hayley a small smile before leaving, she didn't run into Elijah or Rebekah as she left but assumed they were off feeling guilty or hopefully rethinking their words.

Climbing into the front seat she could feel Klaus's gaze burning holes into the side of her face. Brinley turned and looked at him, his light eyes meeting her dark ones.

"Are you sure you're okay with all of this?" Klaus asked almost sheepishly, like he feared her answer

"I love this house and this property it has been home to me these past few months. But you were who made it home, it's only home with you." Brinley answered, reaching over to grab his hand making Klaus smile softly

"I will make The Compound a home for us, my love. It will be a safe place to raise our children, they will be surrounded by vampires who will protect them and you. I just thank you for standing my me and my ambitions." Klaus responded bringing Brinley's hand up to his lips and placing a delicate kiss on it

Brinley settled comfortably back into her seat still clutching onto Klaus's hand making him smile softly as their conjoined hands rested on her bump. Klaus could see how she struggled to keep her eyes open, the further she gets into her pregnancy the more tired she is.

"Rest your eyes love." Klaus instructed squeezing her hand softly

Brinley didn't even try to argue and just shifted into a more comfortable position letting her eyes flutter closed.

When she woke the first thing she noticed was the silky sheets that rubbed against her bare legs and the equally silky quilt that was draped over her body. She subconsciously snuggled deeper into the cool bedding with a small smile on her face.

He remembered.

For the last few weeks Brinley's hot flashes have taken to happening at random times throughout the night leaving her miserable and exhausted. The only type of material she can stand is silk because it's light and doesn't attract much heat.

Brinley jumped slightly when an arm wrapped firmly around her waist pulling her body back into a warm bare chest. The smell of Klaus's aftershave invaded her senses making her hum in content.

"Go back to sleep little dove. We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow." Klaus whispered before placing a kiss where her neck and shoulder met

"Goodnight Nik." Brinley mumbled snuggling deeper into his hold

"Goodnight love." Klaus replied rubbing gently across a portion of skin on her stomach from where her top had ridden up

Brinley fell asleep quickly but Klaus didn't find sleep as quickly. He couldn't help but admire every single feature that made Brinley Brinley, her long thick eyelashes rested softly on the apples of her cheeks, the sharp line of her jaw, her pointed narrow nose, her plump pink lips that showcased her bright smile, and her long strands of wavy chestnut brown hair.

While each of these things made her beautiful, seeing her pregnant and glowing with his children amplifies all of those things. Her eyes are brighter, her skin is glowing, and her body was perfect.

Small fluttering against his hand knocked Klaus from his thoughts of the sleeping girl in his arms. He looked down at her stomach and smiled softly when he felt those flutters again.

"You two should be asleep too." Klaus spoke softly and chuckled when the babies kick back in defiance. "Be good little lads and go to sleep. You couldn't arrive soon enough. Daddy loves you both, as does your mommy."

Klaus shuffled closer to Brinley and tightened his hold around her slightly before finally allowing his eyes to shut and sleep to consume him.

─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───

When Brinley came downstairs this morning the last thing she expected to find was a huge breakfast table filled with different kinds of food with at least 20 spots set. Klaus informed her that he planned on inviting the vampire army over for brunch, she thinks it's basically so Klaus can show his dominance over them.

Brinley was sitting perched on Klaus's lap since neither of them felt as if they could trust any of the vampires present not to try something. They were sitting at the head of the table with the vampires scattered around in the empty seats and Marcel at the other head. Klaus secured one arm around Brinley's waist while she paid him no mind snacking on some of the grapes at the table, he picked up a fork and tapped it on his glass gaining everyone's attention.

"Let us begin with a toast to our shared gift: immortality. After a thousand years, one might expect life to be less keenly felt, for its beauties and its sorrows do diminish with time. But, as vampires, we feel more deeply than humans could possibly imagine." Klaus gestures toward a group of waiters and waitresses to have them join them at the table, one for each guest. "Insatiable need, exquisite pain..." The servants slit their wrists with knives, filling the cups with blood for the vampires making Brinley flinch in surprise. "Our victories, and our defeats."

Klaus shot Marcel a hard look practically bragging about his victory over the younger vampire. As he should since the title has always belonged to him and the compound is their home.

"To my city, my home again. May the blood never cease to flow..." Klaus said holding up his glass for a toast

"...and the party never end!" Marcel added with a smile as he too raised his glass

"To New Orleans." One of Marcel's vampires Diego said

"To New Orleans!" Klaus nodded squeezing Brinley against him

"New Orleans." Everyone repeated before drinking from their glasses

"I understand that some of you may have questions regarding the recent change in leadership, and I invited you here today to assure you that you are not defeated. No, my intentions moving forward are to celebrate what we have. What Marcel, in fact, took and built for this true community of vampires." Klaus informed the group

"What about her?" Diego asked pointing to Brinley who tensed along with Klaus who tightened his grip on her waist, holding her to him protectively. "The human."

"I have a name you know. I'm also a hunter so watch your back." Brinley narrowed her eyes towards the vampire who narrowed his in return

"Had you'd let me finish, Diego, you would know that there is, of course, one further matter I would like to address." Klaus said hiding his anger with a smirk. "This is Brinley, she is as many of you know carrying my children and the woman I love. Consequently, I trust you will all pay her the appropriate respect if you wish to keep your limbs attached to your body. However, I understand that some of you are concerned by this vicious rumor that I intend to use the blood of our children to create hybrids. I assure you I do not."

"Thanks for the clarification." Brinley teased with a grin making Klaus roll his eyes playfully and kiss her cheek

Marcel watched the pair with furrowed brows, never in his life had he seen Klaus ever act so enamored by a woman. Not like he seemed to be with Brinley, a part of him is happy for the man he once saw as a father happy that he has found someone to love and build a life with. But the other more vengeful part of him thinks that after everything he's done Klaus doesn't deserve that happiness.

"It appears I will have to earn your trust. Very well. We'll eliminate the root of your anxiety. You see, how I can I sire any hybrids if there are no more werewolves alive in the Bayou to turn?" Klaus asked and Brinley stiffened looking down at him with wide eyes

"Klaus!" Brinley hissed into his ear, knowing that those wolves are the family Hayley has been searching for her whole life now that she's finally found them Brinley doesn't want her to lose them

"So-- eat, drink, and be merry. And, tonight, I suggest you have yourselves a little wolf hunt. Go ahead, have fun. Kill them all!" Klaus exclaimed and the vampires around the table instantly started chattering in excitement

"Can I talk to you please?" Brinley asked Klaus with a tense smile, the hybrid opened his mouth to decline but paused when he saw the glare he was receiving

"Of course love." Klaus smiled nervously before turning to his guests. "Excuse us for a moment. Please continue on."

Brinley slid off Klaus's lap and led him up the stairs and into his study, once inside Brinley turned around and punched Klaus in the arm making him gasp in surprise and hold where he was hit.

"What the bloody hell was that for?!" Klaus asked with wide eyes, surprised by how much that actually hurt

"You know what that was for! Klaus those wolves are Hayley's family you can't just allow them to be killed!" Brinley exclaimed with wide eyes making Klaus sigh

"It has to be done Brinley. Those vampires are never going to trust me or my intentions so long as there are wolves that could be turned to hybrids. I am doing what it takes to protect you and our children." Klaus said making Brinley huff

"I understand that Nik I do, I want us to be safe too. But who are we to allow Hayley to lose the family she's been searching for her entire life? What if something happened to us and it was our children in Hayley's position?" Brinley asked making Klaus scoff

"That won't happen. In case you have forgotten I'm the hybrid and I can't be killed, and seeing as I would die before letting anything happen to you that secures your life as well." Klaus said and Brinley just sighed

"All I am saying is that family is important. I would give anything to have one more second with mine, I just can't justify sweeping Hayley's from her fingertips." Brinley said making Klaus clench his jaw

"If killing all the werewolf's in the bayou meant that you and the children will be safe that is what I am doing and there is nothing you can say that would change my mind." Klaus spoke in a tone that left no more room for discussion

"You are the most pigheaded man I have ever met in my life." Brinley huffed rubbing her forehead to sooth the upcoming headache she could feel arising

"It's one of my best traits." Klaus smirked and Brinley scoffed

"Well I disagree!" Brinley exclaimed as she walked away from him

"What are you doing?" Klaus asked trying to hide his amusement at her anger

"I'm storming away from you! Now leave me alone!" Brinley exclaimed before spinning on her heal and storming away

"Well I sure do enjoy the view." Klaus smirked as he watched Brinley walk away

"Pig!" Brinley called over her shoulder

"Only for you my love!" Klaus called back with a chuckle

Brinley decided to see if she could go for a walk around the French quarter in hopes of finding a food truck that sells fried oreos and lemonade slushy, for some reason she's been craving them like crazy which is a little bazaar since it's been years since she last had either of those things.

She knew Klaus may not be onboard with her idea but lucky for her Cami is here to work on his biography, but Brinley knew it was really so he could get a rise out of Marcel who had taken a liking to the blonde.

As she walked towards the front door Brinley skidded to a halt as Diego suddenly flashed in front of her.

"What the hell is wrong with you? Didn't anyone ever tell you not to sneak up on a pregnant woman?" Brinley said holding her chest to calm her racing heart

"Going somewhere?" Diego asked, disregarding her comment

"Not that it's any of your business but yes I am. Now if you don't mind I'd like to be back before dark." Brinley said moving to step around him but Diego just copied her movement making her huff. "You are getting on my last nerve."

Before Diego could respond his neck was suddenly snapped making Brinley gasp in surprise. Elijah stood where Diego once was, Rebekah and Hayley also appeared taking out 2 other vampires Brinley didn't even notice.

"Well that was dramatic. What are you guys doing here?" Brinley asked looking down at the 3 bodies on the ground

"We came to take you somewhere safe." Elijah said softly making Brinley sigh

"Lijah I'm perfectly safe here. You know Klaus wouldn't hurt me." Brinley said

"It's not my brother who concerns me. You are surrounded by Marcel's vampires, some of which already tried attacking you before. It is not safe for you or the children here." Elijah said his forehead wrinkled in worry

"Maybe it would be safer if the 3 of you were here with us." Brinley suggested making Elijah sigh

"Brin." Rebekah started making the girl sigh

"I know I know. You're all pissed at each other. We can work all that crap out another time." Brinley said before turning to Hayley. "Klaus offered up a wolf hunt in the bayou to the vampires to show that he has no intentions of turning hybrids once the babies are born. He thinks that this is the only way to keep us safe, though it may be true I know they are your family and family is important. I thought you should know, you can still save them. The hunt isn't until tonight."

"Oh my god." Hayley gasped with wide eyes. "We have to save them."

"In the bayou. Do we look like a bloody vampire-rescue-squad?" Rebekah asked in frustration

"Rebekah I have been looking for these people my entire life, I've finally found them and now Klaus has offered them up to be killed. I'm going to save my family with or without you." Hayley said looking between the siblings

"You're not going out there alone. Especially not when vampires will be around, they do not know you're a hybrid and they won't take kindly to you if they find out." Elijah sighed before turning to Brinley. "I will make amends, you're right family is important and you deserve to have one to raise your children in."

"I know Klaus hasn't always been the easiest brother for you to deal with, I'm sure I don't even know the half of it. I already care so much about all of you, I just want us all to get along. I'm sure that's naive." Brinley chuckled and Rebekah shook her head

"It's not." Rebekah said softly before wrapping her arms around Brinley making the younger girl smile. "We'll see you soon."

Brinley smiled as she watched Elijah send her a comforting smile before he and Rebekah walked away, Hayley hung around and gave Brinley an appreciative smile.

"Thank you Brinley." Hayley said and Brinley shrugged

"Everyone deserves a family. Now go before you're too late." Brinley said and Hayley nodded before leaving

Brinley managed to find both fried oreos and the lemonade slushy which upped her mood greatly, when she arrived back at the compound she saw Klaus and Marcel sitting in the courtyard.

"Ah there you are! I was wondering when you'd return, still mad at me love?" Klaus asked as Brinley walked closer to them

"I guess not. I don't think anything can kill my mood when I have a deep fried oreo drowned in powdered sugar and chocolate sauce." Brinley said flopping down onto Klaus's lap making the man groan at the sudden weight

"How far along are you anyway?" Marcel asked glancing down at Brinley's stomach

"18 weeks, so 4 months I think." Brinley said remembering that September night that led to her becoming pregnant in the first place

"Time sure does fly does it not?" Klaus asked unable to believe that he could be meeting his children in as little as 4 months

"Yeah it does." Brinley smiled softly

"Klaus you should know that the humans have called a meeting. They're not exactly thrilled with the new status quo." Marcel informed the hybrid

"How unfortunate for them." Klaus shrugged unsympathetically making Marcel sigh

"Look, it's your show now. But, you wanna know how I built what I built? Politics. A little diplomacy goes a long way, especially with the human faction." Marcel said and Klaus nodded thoughtfully

"Duly noted." Klaus said looking down at a old newspaper photo, Brinley looked over and saw it was of an old beautiful building.

"Where'd you get that?" Brinley asked leaning against his shoulder

"Cami brought it. I haven't thought about this night in ages. 1919, the opera house, just before it burned. This was the end of an era. Now, in the interest of new beginnings, I feel that there are some things I should probably confess to you. But where to begin?" Klaus pondered as he poured him a drink and takes a large drink of bourbon before he begins his confession. "Thierry was never disloyal to you. I set him up in an attempt to locate my brother. He's your friend, and consequently, he can return to the compound at your discretion. Cami's part, you just learned. And then, there's young Joshua. I've been compelling him from the beginning, although I suspect you already knew that, as he was the one who led me into your trap."

"I may have fed the kid some misinformation." Marcel shrugged guilty

"And then there's Davina. She's a powerful weapon. At this point, I'd like to keep her close at hand. I think we should have her move in to the compound here with us." Klaus suggested making Brinley look up at him

"She's just a child Nik." Brinley frowned knowing that his intentions are probably anything but pure

"Exactly. Plus she can't leave the attic. I already tried to move her once." Marcel said and gave Brinley a soft nod, thankful that at least she cares about children being in danger

"Yes, about that... Turns out, your little witch is quite the actress. She made a deal with Elijah while he was in captivity, tricked you into letting her stay put in exchange for some spells from our mother's grimoire." Klaus said and Marcel nods bitterly, clearly not happy about this

"Good to know. Is that all?" Marcel asked

"I do believe it is." Klaus nodded

"I appreciate the honesty." Marcel sighs as he rises to his feet. "Meeting's in an hour."

Brinley watched as Marcel left before turning to look up at Klaus who looked down at her in return.

"You didn't tell him about Hayley being a hybrid?" Brinley furrowed her brows knowing that Klaus isn't particularly fond of her friend

"Yes well. Unfortunately for me you are quite attached to her besides, having another hybrid on our side is always a plus." Klaus said kissing Brinley's forehead

"I'm afraid she isn't your biggest fan." Brinley chuckled knowing how much Hayley loathes him

"Just as long as she protects you and our children I don't care what she thinks about me." Klaus said rubbing Brinley's back softly making her sag against his chest. "You can accompany me and Marcel to the meeting if you want."

"That's alright. I want to take a hot bath and watch movies in bed." Brinley said and Klaus nodded

"I'll be home shortly. Try not to cause any trouble." Klaus said as Brinley scooted off his lap

"I'd never! I'm a complete angel." Brinley smiled making Klaus roll his eyes playfully

"Of course you are." Klaus chuckled leaning in to place a soft kiss on her lips making Brinley smile

"Be safe." Brinley said and Klaus nodded

"I will love." Klaus said before leaving the compound

─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───

Brinley had taken one of the best baths she'd had in months, the tub was a jacuzzi tub and had plenty of room for her to place candles all around the edge she also added some bubbles and bath salts that were suppose to be calming and they were.

She had been lucky thus far in her pregnancy to avoid getting too many stretch marks, a couple of tiny ones could be seen on her lower stomach but they were so light you could barely tell they were there. But she had still been making sure to do her full body skin care mainly because it just made her feel more productive.

With her hair still damp and hanging over her shoulders Brinley ventured into the bedroom and climbed up into the cozy bed, she got into a comfortable position and reached over to grab the remote.

Just as her fingers touched the cold plastic the sound of an explosion was suddenly heard from outside making Brinley gasp in shock and knock the remote onto the floor

"What the?" Before Brinley could finish her sentence the unmistakable sound of gunfire was heard and suddenly the bedroom windows were shattered making Brinley scream as she threw herself off the bed and laid as flat on the ground as she could holding her bump tightly.

Bullets wizzed through the room shattering the mirror and destroying the tv along with some pictures hung on the wall. She could faintly hear screams coming from downstairs but all she could clearly hear was the sound of her pounding heart in her ears, because of how terrified she is of her babies being shot.

Finally after what felt like hours the gunfire seized and she could hear vehicles driving away from the compound. Trying to calm her breathing Brinley pushed herself up to lean against the bed, she winced as she looked down and saw cuts from the glass along her arms from where she had instinctively covered her face.

"Brinley!" Brinley heard Klaus call from downstairs

"Nik!" Brinley yelled back and he suddenly appeared in front of her his clothes bloody from bullet holes as he dropped down in front of her and immediately cupped her face

"Are you ok? Are the babies ok? Brinley are you alright?" Klaus asked frantically searching her body for any sign of injuries before seeing her cut up arms

"I'm ok. We're ok. Just some cuts and bruises." Brinley said taking a deep breath, feeling better now that Klaus was by her side

"I'm so sorry this happened." Klaus said pulling the girl into his arms

"Who were they?" Brinley asked clutching onto Klaus's shirt

"It was the human faction. They weren't pleased with the deal I presented them and this was their way of showing it." Klaus sighed guilty

"Those bastards. I want you to kill them. They could've killed our children." Brinley snarled wrapping her arms around her stomach protectively

"Way ahead of you my love. I'm texting Rebekah to come stay with you I don't want you to be here alone she'll keep you safe." Klaus said as he pulled his phone out with one hand, still keeping his other around Brinley

"We need them Klaus. I love you and I know you will do your best to protect us, but you can't be with me every second of everyday and this proved that. Put your hard feelings aside and make up with your siblings. It's time to look at the bigger picture." Brinley instructed and Klaus sighed but nodded knowing she was right

"I'm going to take care of this. Rebekah will be here soon, stay clear of the windows. I love you." Klaus said kissing her

"I love you too." Brinley said as Klaus helped her to her feet before speeding away

Brinley, careful of the broken class stepped into the bathroom and disinfected her cuts before sliding on a pair of her slippers and her robe.

Deciding to explore the compound a little and avoid the dead bodies of night walkers in the courtyard, Brinley found herself stumbling upon Davina. She'd never met the girl in person for obvious reasons, but with her living in the compound now it would be a good idea to introduce herself.

She softly knocked on the door gaining the teenagers attention, she hesitantly looked over the pregnant girl but Brinley just gave her a welcoming smile.

"Davina? I just wanted to introduce myself since we'll be living together now." Brinley said as she stepped into the bedroom that would belong to the teenager

"You're Brinley. Klaus's wife?" Davina asked hesitantly and Brinley couldn't control the way her face flushed at those words

"Uh not exactly. I'm his girlfriend, I think, I'm pregnant with his children though, twins. I mean we act like a couple and have already said I love you so I guess we could potentially be together but then again he's never asked me straight up to be his girlfriend." Brinley rambled but stopped when she saw the amused look on Davina's face. "Sorry. I ramble sometimes."

"That's ok. I do too. From what I've heard and seen so far it definitely seems like Klaus thinks of you as his girlfriend. By the way it is the 21st century, why don't you ask him?" Davina asked as she sat down on her bed

"I don't know. Call me old fashioned. Or I guess don't since I'm technically knocked up out of wedlock. It's just more magical when it comes from the guy in my opinion. How many fairytales ended with the girl asking the boy?" Brinley asked and Davina chuckled

"I guess you're right. How far along are you?" Davina asked bashfully looking down at Brinley's stomach

"18 weeks. I'm a little bigger because of the whole twin thing. I really feel like I could pop." Brinley sighed rubbing her stomach

"Here sit down." Davina said patting the space beside her

Brinley shot her a thankful smile and took a seat beside the teenage witch giving her a second to look around the room that seemed to be in disarray.

"Is this a new decorating style or is there something specific you're looking for?" Brinley asked making Davina sigh

"My violin. I must've left it back at the attic." Davina sighed

"My mom played the violin. Piano too, she use to play me and my siblings to sleep." Brinley smiled fondly at the memories

"Can you play?" Davina asked

"Oh lord no. The musical gene completely missed me. My sister did though or she was learning." Brinley said with a small frown before clearing her throat. "The church isn't too far from here why don't you just go get it?"

"I can't. It's not safe for me out there." Davina shook her head with a frightened expression

"Well as far as I know you're suppose to be this big bad teenage witch who everyone's afraid of." Brinley shrugged

"The witches are still after me. Because I didn't finish the harvest." Davina said with a haunted look in her eye

"If you're talking about that old hag Agnes I feel you, she's tried to kill me a couple of times too. But Elijah killed her after the last attempted murder." Brinley said before pausing at the confused look on Davina's face. "You didn't know that did you?"

"No I didn't. But that means I'm safe. Agnes was the last living elder, if she's dead." Davina trailed off before shaking her head in denial. "No. No Marcel would've told me if it was safe."

"Davina, you don't have to be scared anymore. The witches can't hurt you again. You're safe." Brinley said gently touching the girls shoulder but she shrugged it off and stood up

"You're lying." Davina shook her head suspiciously making Brinley sigh

"What reason could I possibly have to lie to you?" Brinley asked

"Because you want something from me. Everyone does." Davina said making Brinley from and hold her hand out to the young girl

"Come here." Brinley said as Davina looked at her hand suspiciously. "I'm human and you're a badass witch. There's no possible way I could be any kind of a threat to you."

Davina sighed but accepted Brinley's hand and allowed the girl to pull her back down next to her on the bed.

"I'm sorry that you feel like everyone has ulterior motives. But I can promise you I don't. There is nothing that I want from you other than to make you comfortable here. I also wouldn't mind making another friend. It can be lonely sometimes when everyone around you is running around trying to save the town."  Brinley said and Davina looked at her tearfully

"I can't remember the last time someone just wanted to be my friend." Davina sniffled making Brinley pull her into her side

"Now you do. I don't know why Marcel didn't tell you about Agnes. But I do know that he cares about you and I think that maybe he just wanted to keep you safe in his own way. Even if it wasn't the right way." Brinley said smiling softly as she felt Davina relax in her hold

"I wish I wasn't a witch. I wish I could just be a regular kid." Davina said

"You know what helps me when I'm feeling down?" Brinley asked and Davina looked up at her with red eyes

"What?" Davina asked

"I get changed into my most comfortable pajamas, grab the most unhealthy junk food I can find, and watch Dirty Dancing and thirst for Patrick Swayze." Brinley said making Davina smile

"I've never seen it." Davina said making Brinley gasp

"Oh my god! First you get offered up as a witch sacrifice, then locked in an attic for months, and now you've never watched Dirty Dancing! You're childhood really has sucked." Brinley said and Davina laughed. "Get changed. I'll get the junk food and the movie!"

"Ok!" Davina smiled excitedly as she jumped off the bed before offering Brinley a hand. "Thanks for this Ley."

Brinley smiled at the new nickname, never having someone call her by that before. She was happy that Davina has started feeling comfortable enough to give her a nickname.

"I'm just doing the world a favor Vina. No child should be deprived of Patrick Swayze." Brinley said before leaving the room, unaware of the wide smile on Davina's face.

When Rebekah finally arrived at the compound she followed Patrick Swayze's voice to Davina's bedroom where she found both girls leaning up against the headboard with various junk food wrappers around them.

"Well isn't this something. You're not in sugar comas are you?" Rebekah asked stepping into the room

"Not yet." Brinley said stuffing a mini KitKat in her mouth as Rebekah flopped down beside her

"I see you've introduced Davina to Patrick Swayze." Rebekah observed looking to the screen where Johnny and Baby were practicing the iconic lift in the water

"Yes she has." Davina chuckled

"Hey Beks, did you ever get to meet Patrick Swayze?" Brinley asked and Rebekah shook her head

"Nope. I was daggered from 1920 till 2010. So by the time I was undaggered he was already dead. What a pity. I would've totally slept with him." Rebekah sighed taking one of the KitKats

"Same. I guess I have a thing for older men." Brinley chuckled making Rebekah grimace while Davina watched them in amusement. "What about you Vina? Any boys or men you've got your eye on?"

"Well there was this one boy from school, before all the harvest stuff happened. But I'm sure he's forgotten about me." Davina frowned

"I doubt it, you're a catch!" Rebekah said making Davina blush

"She's right. You're beautiful, smart, kind, and a musician what's not to like?" Brinley smiled nudging Davina's side

"I guess." Davina chuckled

Before anything else could be said Klaus appeared in the doorway and knocked on the door gaining the girls attention.

"Come to bed love." Klaus said and Brinley could tell that there was something on his mind so she listened and scooted out of the bed

"We'll do this again sometime soon." Brinley told Davina who nodded

"Thanks Ley." Davina smiled and Brinley nodded before allowing Klaus to grab her hand and pull her towards their room

"Ley?" Klaus asked

"She's a good kid Nik. All she needs is someone to care about her." Brinley said

"And that person is you?" Klaus asked and Brinley nodded

"Yeah it is." Brinley said as they entered their room, she paused when she saw it was completely fixed like nothing had ever happened there was even an new tv. "It looks like nothing ever happened."

"The power of compulsion my love." Klaus said as he sat down on the bed, Brinley walked over to him and stood between his legs wrapping her arms loosely around his neck while his settled on her waist

"Somethings bothering you." Brinley observed and Klaus sighed

"I assume it was you who told Elijah, Rebekah, and Hayley about the wolf hunt." Klaus said looking up at Brinley who gave him a shrug

"Of course I did. But that's not all you're thinking about is it?" Brinley asked

"They found the last remanence of my family my birth fathers family they're in the bayou. They would've been slaughtered tonight." Klaus said and Brinley gently ran her fingers through his hair

"What do you want to do? You know we'll help you find them if that's what you want." Brinley said but Klaus shook his head

"I have all the family I need right here. I did what you said, I made up with my siblings." Klaus said and Brinley smiled. "You know you've done more for this family in the 4 months you've been with us then anyone else in the 1,000 years we've been alive."

"I guess I just understand you guys. All you need is someone to love and care about you without expecting anything in return." Brinley said making Klaus pull her tighter against him

"You really are an angel Brinley Roe." Klaus said pulling Brinley onto his lap cupping her cheek

"Only for you Niklaus Mikaelson." Brinley smiled bringing her hands up to cup his face before kissing him
