make of two hearts
February 14, 1995.
it was valentine's day, i had been on for the past 14 hours.
i was finishing the last few charts i had.
"so whats the plan for this romantic day, doug?" mark asked
"nothing actually"
"i thought you were the romantic guy"
"no plans this year mark" he smiled
i finished my last chart.
"well, i am finally off" i smiled, putting my pen back in my pocket.
"do you have plans?" mark asked
"no"
"well you guys are awfully boring"
"why mark, do you have plans"
"well, no"
"goodnight" i laughed.
"tatiana is still here?" i asked carol
"yeah, it's really sad, i wish i could help her"
carol and doug were working on her all day, they found out she had aids. she was from russia and her adoptive mom abondoned her.
"i'm sorry carol"
a couple hours went by when i heard a couple of knocks on my door.
"doug?" i asked
he leaned in to kiss me.
i shut the door behind him.
what i feared was going to happen on christmas occurred.
i wasn't totally mad that it happened either though.
