That's his name, and he was originally just your normal teenager going through his life, having just graduated high school and was ready to step into the bigger world.
Too bad he took a step too many and ended up barely walking into the path where a drunk ass driver collided with him at full force.
Now standing here in an endless white void in which he assumed was the place where he was going to get judged.

Hyde was a bit surprised by this, but he quickly began to ponder as he looked over the available options.
He could either be sent straight to Heaven, and probably live a life of peace up there with angels or whatever.
Or he could also choose to go to Hell and suffer from endless torment from demons... yeah, why the fuck would he choose that?
Without hesitation, Hyde chose the third option.
He was literally only eighteen years old, he had so much more he wanted to do living before he finally kicked the damn bucket.
Don't get him wrong, Heaven was probably just as great as it sounded, but he just wasn't ready to accept dying just yet.

Before Hyde could get a word in, he found his vision turning black as all form of speech, hearing or sight began to fade away as well.

Hyde didn't stay unconscious for long as he soon found himself laying on the ground face-up, though he could feel that he was on a smooth metallic surface.
With a groan, Hyde pushed himself off of the ground before using an arm to support himself as his other hand gripped his head.
"I didn't think reincarnation came with an extra package of migraines..."
Stumbling up to his feet, Hyde looked around to see that he had awoken in a room that resembled that of an office area, a very advanced one that is.
There were computers and sheets of paper littered everywhere, it honestly looked as if some rogue animal went wild.
Looking at one of the walls, Hyde could see his own reflection somewhat clearly being reflect off of the wall's surface.
Unlike in the void where he was nothing more than a body of concentrated light, he had returned to his original body.
His previous clothes also came with it, thankfully.
Adjusting his black jacket, Hyde continued looking around the room with a curious look in his eyes.
"It said that this world was Honkai Star Rail, that's the game that was supposed to be coming out tomorrow, isn't it?"
Hyde whispered this question to himself as he held his chin in thought, he had been intending on playing it after it was released.
He was only going to play due to his friends being persistent about it, he didn't really know anything about the game...
"Herta Space Station, that where I am... right?"

He watched as the screen then closed down before immediately opening up another one.

Upon seeing the words 'Kamen Rider'.
Hyde had a sneaking suspicion about just what this system's purpose was, and if he was right, then it was a big ass win.
He was familiar with the Kamen Rider series, it was basically the Power Ranger series of Japan, though that technically was Super Sentai... but you get his point!
In any case, if this system did what he assumed, he could gain the powers of Kamen Riders. With how versatile they could be, it was a big win.
Hydge looked at the other menus of the system, though they were blank so he quickly turned to the status screen.
The system itself was pretty standard looking, there wasn't even a complicated game interface like in those Gamer fanfics he had read.

And with how each transformation could only last for a total of thirty minutes, he really hopes that wouldn't stay the case forever.
On top of that, he wasn't sure if being damaged too much would forcefully make him change back before the time limit.

While he certainly wasn't expecting the sudden notification, he definitely wasn't rejecting it.
'Master Control Zone, huh? Easier said than done... and what the hell is this Antimatter Legion?'
His thoughts were soon interrupted as the sound of metal colliding caught his attention, and when he turned his head to see the source...
He saw a group of robotic humanoids rushing into the room he was in, all with their lightsaber wrist blades pointed at him.
Hyde wasn't sure how to react so he just stared blankly at them, though he quickly snapped back into his senses as he began backing up.
Seeing this, the group also approached him as well.
"War of the fucking robots..." Hyde muttered as he kept his eyes trained on them at all times. "Just got here and are already about to be skewered."
As one of the robots lunged at him, blade pointed forwards, Hyde quickly rolled to the side, narrowly dodging as the blade pierced right through the wall.
'Holy shit, definitely ain't surviving that!' Hyde felt a cold sweat run down his neck after seeing such a scene. 'This system better work or it's game over...'
While making sure to keep his eyes on the enemies, Hyde used one hand to opening up the system before quickly selecting the only rider he had.

Just as those words were quickly shown together with a mechanical voice, Hyde suddenly felt some weight appear around his waist.
Glancing down, he saw none other than Zero-One's main driver now attached securely around his waist.

Not only that, Hyde also found himself unconsciously gripping the progrisekey in his right hand.
"Okay, here we go, bitches..."

After scanning the progrisekey onto the buckle of the driver, a spatial hole opened up above where Hyde was standing.
The robots seemed to momentarily cease their advance as if detecting some form of danger, and their decision proved to be a smart one.
In the spatial hole, a satellite deep in space could be seen hovering before firing a beam of light right through.
Striking right in front of Hyde, the laser seemingly summoned forth a mechanical living grasshopper easily bigger than a bear.
The grasshopper then jumped around, creating dents into ground as a hologram depicting a humanoid figure hovered in front of Hyde.
Knowing what to do, Hyde flipped open the progrisekey in his hand before inserting it into the driver.
"Henshin!"

The hologram in front of him reversed into him, forming a sleek strong black bodysuit that completely cover him from head to toe.
The grasshopper then split into multiple pieces that hovered around Hyde, to which they then began to deconstruct and materialise onto Hyde.
Once it was done, the previously dull bodysuit now had various green armour plates that gave his armour an appearance akin to that of the grasshopper.
『A JUMP TO THE SKY TURNS TO A RIDER KICK』
With that, the transformation was complete.
Hyde stood tall as his red beady eyes now stared at the group of enemies, though he did raise his fist that wasn't holding his Attache Calibur to clench it a few times.
"Woah, this feels way more awesome than I even initially thought..."
Just by having this suit on, Hyde could feel power coursing through his body. Raising one foot, he gave a light stomp onto the ground.
As a result, there was now a clear large dent the shape of his boot now embedded into the floor beneath beneath him.
"Not bad!" Hyde chuckled as he twirled the 'suitcase' in his hand around once. "No doubt the power in the legs of this form are top notch."
As Hyde was admiring himself, one of the robots charge at him once again. This time, Hyde was more than ready as he delivered a quick high kick that struck the robot's stomach.
He then immediately sent a direct horizontal kick aimed at the robot's chest.
Once his kick connected, the force behind it was clear as a pale-green small shockwave was emitted as the robot was then thrown crashing into the opposite wall.
The robot's chest was completely caved in as sparks flew everywhere, soon enough the robotic exploded into countless scraps.

Calmly lowering his leg back down, Hyde turned his head to the remaining robots as a smirk soon graced his lips behind the helmet.
