DET (Bea's mom)
"Isabel, diba sabi ko sa'yo blue ang color ng toothbrush mo? Bakit green yung binuksan mo"
Nagpapalit kasi kami ng toothbrush every two months. Blue is her favorite color, kaya yun ang sinabi ko sa kanyang kunin niyang toothbrush niya
"Didn't you say green, mom?" Bea
"Never mind, ok lang. Have you called your kuya Loel already? Hindi pa siya umuuwi"
"Kuya Loel? Why? Where is he, mom?" Bea
"Ano? Hindi mo alam? Diba sabi niya aalis siya with his friends"
"Ah really? Sorry" Bea
I feel something is different about Isabel. A few weeks ago, I noticed that she quickly forgets, especially that she no longer looks for Jho.
LOEL (Bea's brother)
The next day we went to the hospital to have Bea checked. Kasama rin namin si Caitlin pero nasa labas sila ni Bea
"Based here on the results of tests we ran awhile ago, an MRI and a CT scan. *hissed* Well, I expected this to happen; she's having memory loss. Ms. de Leon got amnesia." neurologist
Hindi yung father ni Caitlin ang neurologist ni Bea kasi neurosurgeon ang father ni Caitlin
"But how? She's been just fine for the past few months" mom Det
"Is she having extreme depression?" neurologist
Mom and I looked at each other, because what the doctor was saying was right. In truth, we know how Bea loves Jhoana. And that's what caused her depression-her love
Binigay naman na ni mom ang phone ni Bea, but all of Jhoana's social media accounts were blocked
"Why? Is there a connection with depression?" mom Det
"Yes, there is a link between depression and memory loss. Another thing is that she got a head injury as well" neurologist
"It's curable, right?" mom Det
Neurologist disagreed "Recovering memories is rare. Amnesia can be permanent, but only you can help her through her suffering. You are Isabel's family; you know what to do" neurologist
The neurologist offered treatments din naman
CAITLIN
"Hmmp na blockkk"
"Yes! Win this game Choco Mucho!" Bea shouts
"Shhh, Isabel lower down your voice"
Nanonood kasi kami ng pvl live dito sa phone niya tapos ang ingay niya
"Heyyyy you're not mom" Bea
"Haha sorry na, hindi ba pwede mag sorry?"
Bea hates it when I call her Isabel haha
Bea pouts
"Sus wag kang magpa cute, Isabel"
"Ehhh naman ehhh" parang bata na sabi ni Bea
"Bea alam mo, mas malala ka pa sa baby"
"Baby mo haha" Bea wiggles her brows
Mabait pala talaga si Bea, napaka sungit lang nung una. Good thing at naging close na kami hehe
Another thing I noticed about Bea ay, napakalandi niya. She always flirts with me, but I think friendly flirt lang naman yun for her.
DET (Bea's mom)
At home
"Anak? Can I ask some things?"
Nanonood ngayon si Bea ng series sa tv dito sa bedroom niya. Habang ako ay umupo sa bed niya katabi siya
"Yup, anything mom" Bea
"Do you still remember your dog, Finn?"
Bea chuckles "What are you talking about mom. I never had dogs"
"Ow it was your kuya's dog pala sorry. How about, Jhoana? One of the popular swimsuit designers in the Philippines?"
"Jhoana? A swimsuit designer? I don't have interest in swimsuits mom, how would I know, wait what's the name again?" Bea
"Jhoana Maraguinot"
"Nah, I don't know that girl" Bea
Dapat maging masaya sana ako kasi nakalimutan na niya si Jho, pero hindi sa ganitong paraan. I feel sorry for Isabel, sunod-sunod na ang hindi magandang nangyayari sa buhay niya
This is all my fault.
2 years after ( started when De Leons left the Philippines)
CAITLIN
Nandito kami sa labas ni Bea, nag-aya eh. Kumakain kami dito sa isang Filipino restaurant
"Uyy are you bored?" Bea
Bea is sitting opposite me, so we eat facing each other
"Bea kumakain ako, don't disturb me"
"You should talk to your date, don't be rude Caitlin" Bea rolls her eyes
"Wow ha? Haha"
"There you are!" Ara approaches
"Oh ayan na pala yang date mo" I rolled my eyes too
"Yiee she's jealous" mahinang sabi ni Bea, enough lang para marinig ko
Umupo na si Ara (Ara Galang) sa tabi ni Bea
Bea was about to subo when Ara...."Adoboooo" Inagaw ni Ara yung isusubo sana ni Bea haha
"Kukulit niyo, parang mga bata"
"At least cute, right Bei" Ara while she chews the food
"I know right. Patay na patay nga si Cait sa'kin eh" Bea
Napa tawa ako ng konti, ang feeling eh
"Uuyyy tumawa. Umamin kana kasi Cait" Ara teases
"Duh anong aaminin ko. Kayo kaya umamin"
Then I saw Bea whisper something to Ara. Pagkatapos nito ay niyakap ni Ara si Bea habang kumakain yung isa
"I love youuu, BEIby" talagang inemphasize pa ni Ara yung 'Bei'
"Puro kayo landi, nanjan na food mo oh Ara"
Sinerve na kasi yung food ni Ara
"Jelly jelly haha" Ara
Anyways, I'm happy for Bea because the things she forgot aren't that big, and many. Alam namin na may Amnesia siya. In her case, only Bea herself doesn't know about her condition
ARA
"Labas tayo UK? What do you guys think?"
"Good idea yan, diba Bei?" Caitlin
Nawala na ang selos ni Cait haha, alam naman niyang friends lang kami ni Bei duh, at isa pa yung tunay na babae ang gusto ko
"Where naman?" Bea
"Philippines!" sabay naming sabi ni Caitlin
"What's with Philippines ba? I know we're Filipinos, but there are better places to visit than the Philippines" Bea
"Teka, I'll show you something"
Pinakita ko kay Bea ang magagandang beaches sa Philippines
"Woah" Bea's looking at the photos
"Not just beaches, Bei. Marami pang iba ang magagandang tourist spots jan" Caitlin
"Mismo"
"Wait, where is this church located? Mt. Carmel church?" Bea
"Ah sa Batangas yan, sa Lipa"
Bea suddenly smiled
"Why? Jan mo ba ako papakasalan Beiby?"
"Sure baby" Bea
"Yan na naman sila" Caitlin
LOEL
"Loel, pack your things, naayos ko na gamit ni Isabel. Uuwi na tayo ng Pilipinas in two days. Elmer booked us a ticket already" mom Det
Bea went out with Caitlin and Ara, kaya kami lang ni mom ang nandito sa bahay
"What?" I'm just shocked
"Two years is enough for Isabel. Itatama na ng mom niyo ang mga pagkakamali ko" mom Det
"Y-you mean, Jhoana?"
"Exactly. I've hurt her so much, sila ng anak ko" malungkot na sabi ni mom
I hugged mom for a sec
"Are you now good with her being Bea's girlfriend? Or more than that?"
"Kung saan sila masaya" mom Det
"Don't you think it's too late, mom?"
"True love is never too late, anak" mom Det
"Finally, mom, this is what Bea has been waiting for"
"Can't wait to tell Isabel the good news" masayang sabi ni mom
I just wish that Bea's heart won't forget Jho.
