Apollo Alistair sat in his office looking over the recent attacks. His face was hard and eye's as cold as the winter. He was angry. Three nearby packs had been brutally defeated. Leaving nothing but nearly dead wolfs and the headless bodies of their alphas. It was a statement from the enemy. The enemy was threatening him and his pack family but not just them, him and other packs as well and he was ready to take them down. That was mainly his reason for sitting in his office looking over the reports. He was forming a plan to take down the rouge pack.

A knock came at his door but he didn't speak, he knew who was there. The person on the other side of the door pushed the door open. "Alpha Alistair.." an old sweet voice spoke.

He didn't spare a glance as he answered, "Melinda." His eyes were on his decorated walls.

"The prophecy.." she said making his eyes finally snap to hers. "It has changed."

Apollo perked up at the knowledge, "how so?" He questioned, his piercing misty eyes staring at her expectingly.

"War is coming.. death and destruction is coming." Her voice was calm yet there was a pinch of sadness.

Apollo knew what that meant. The rouge pack was getting stronger and they were coming for his pack. Apollo couldn't let that happen.

'Andre, Seth, and Chris, in my office now!' He mind-linked his Beta, Gamma, and Delta. Seconds later his office door opened once again. His second, third, and fourth command walked inside, one by one stopping in front of his desk.

"War is coming, we need a plan of action to take down the rouge pack before they target anymore packs. Have you found a located?" Apollo asked, his eyes on his second in command.

"Yeah, I found a possible location.. I'm not sure if they are here in this area exactly—" before he could finish his sentence, Melinda had walked over to the little map, he had sat on Apollo's desk as he explained where the enemy was.

"They are." She interrupted, staring down at the location that was circled. She placed the tip of her fingers above the map. Apollo watched as her finger tips sparked over the map in the same area they had circled. "She is there.." Melinda all but whispered but Apollo heard her.

"Who?" He furrowed his brow in confusion. "Who is there?" He repeated now staring back at Melinda with curious eyes.

"The one who is destined to save us all.." Melinda spoke in riddle confusing Apollo even more.

"Who is she?" Beta Andre couldn't help but ask, growing impatient with her beating around the bush. "And how can she save us?"

"Right, what makes you think one girl can save us? Who is she?" Chris ask rolling his eyes with a scoff, he was never one to trust a witch.

"She has the gifts of elements." Melinda replied calmly, not letting her irritated show through her tone as she eyed Chris with distaste.

"How is that special?!" Chris fussed as he tossed his hands in the air as if Melinda had wasted his time. "There are four whole packs of elemental wolves, you got fire, air, earth, water—"

"Have you forgotten about the destruction the fire pack has cause all the elemental wolves? They nearly made their kind extinct." Melinda cut him off to remind him. Her lip was pressed in a thin line as she glared at Chris. "This girl will save us! We need to get to her before anyone finds out about her!" Melinda demanded.

"What can she do that's so special?" Chris asked crossing his arms over his chest.

"I'm not sure, but my prophecies are never wrong—" Melinda spoke but was soon cut off by Chris.

"So, you mean to tell me, we're suppose to go after the rouge alpha and his pack to rescue a elemental wolf girl and you don't even know how she can help us?" Chris stared at Melinda with a blank stare and she glared back at him. "Not only that! But she isn't even our kind!"

"Don't be foolish," Melinda spat rolling her eyes, "just because she is an elemental wolf doesn't mean she isn't of the same species, those wolves are just more stronger than regular wolves."

While the two of them bickered back in forth, Apollo was in his head. Thinking back to the story of how the elemental wolves came about.

There was a story long ago.. about the moon goddess, about how she created the elemental wolves because regular wolves were beginning to die from other enemies. She created four wolves with their own element. The fire wolf, the water wolf, the air wolf, and the earth wolf. She knew that evil was coming and there was only one way to stop it. The wolves were created to defeat the darkness and they succeeded. What the moon goddess hadn't expected was the four wolves being haunted, envied, and feared.

After defeating the evil that lurked, the four wolves went their separate ways and created. Starting a family, they created their own packs and became the most feared wolves. Regular wolves were jealous, mostly rouge wolves. They went after every elemental wolf they could find. They would capture the wolves and try stealing their gifts. Years later, the elemental wolves grew tired of the constant death of their pack members and so they hid.

The only elemental wolves that didn't cower in defeat was the fire pack. They fought and never gave up but the price for their courage was losing most of their pack members. That made the alpha of the fire pack angry. He wanted revenge, his people would not die in vain. The alpha and his pack went on a killing spree. They killed damn near all rouges but that wasn't enough for them. They went after regular packs, seeking vengeances.

In the end, the fire pack left their mark, they left destruction. So many innocent lives were killed. It was a blood bath but that didn't stop them. They begin stealing wolves from packs to get information on other packs. They even went as far as recruiting members.

But after years went by, the fire pack slowly started disappearing. They went quiet. No one heard a peep out of them. Apollo heard that the alpha of the fire pack was kicked out. His pack no longer could deal with all the destruction he was causing. Fire could be destructive but fire was meant to represent, warmth and wisdom. The fire alpha had become deranged and unfit to be an alpha anymore.

Although an alpha had to be challenged and beaten to lose their title. If your whole pack is against you and no longer wants you as their leader. The alpha can officially lose their title without being challenged. This only worked with elemental wolves since they were a special bred. They weren't just wolves. They were wolves who were suppose to bring forth change and bring the wolves together but the fire pack had ruined those chances of there ever being peace in the werewolf community.

Apollo was relived to not have to deal with the fire pack but now he had a rogue pack to take care of. A pack that had become strong but he wasn't afraid. His pack was ten times bigger than any pack. After all, he was one of the top strongest alphas. He feared no one. Not even the elemental wolves.

"Alpha, have I ever been wrong when I have a premonition?" Melinda asked, looking over at Apollo expectingly. He nodded his head no without a thought, because she it was true. "This is why we need to save her, she can helps us all." Melinda stated almost pleading like.

"How are you sure she's here?" Seth finally spoke. Pointing towards the map where they circled a location. "What if we walk right into an ambush?"

"Because I know," was all Melinda said her tone hard and final. "This pack has took down plenty of their enemies, but just because a rogue was able to work his way up to an alpha, doesn't mean he isn't still a rogue. No matter how many wolves he recruits, he'll never be stronger than a true alpha." Melinda says.

Apollo nodded his head in agreement as he sat back in his chair comfortably. He place his right ankle over his left knee as he rubbed the little stubble on his chin, in a thinking manner.

He has a large pack.. they are all trained warriors such as my men. He's expecting us.. but if we can catch him by surprise.. he won't see us coming.. Apollo thought. "There was a rumor going around about us attacking the rogue pack next week.." Apollo trailed off.

"Yes, there was a pack member who was a little too excited and couldn't help but go running their mouth." Seth confirmed, rolling his eyes.

"Then let's move next week to now." Apollo replied a little smirk appearing on his face. His commands didn't share the same look as him though. They looked at him as if he'd lost his mind.

"But how are we suppose to pull this off?" Chris questioned a frown on his face. "We are still training the warriors to—"

"Ever heard of rumors traveling fast?" Apollo questioned rhetorically, looking at each of his commands. "I'm sure by now, that the rogue pack has heard of the rumor.."

That's when the Betas eyes lit up in realization. "And if we attack them today or tomorrow, they won't see us coming because from their knowledge—"

"We are attacking them next week." Seth finished, as Apollo nodded at his commands.

"Exactly." Apollo says with a firm nod. "Get the warriors together, we leave out tonight. We'll make it to the location just as the sun rises."

Seth and Chris nodded their heads as they left his office once Apollo dismissed them. "When you traveled to this location, did you notice or feel anything out of the ordinary? Like magic?"

"No, a gate blocked off anyone from getting inside, but I did see the guards placements." Andre replied. "Four guards in each corner from left to right. Eight in the front, eight in the back." Andre replied remembering how the guards were positioned.

Apollo nodded his head, "in that case, we'll do the same placement but instead of eight guards, I want ten of our warriors in the front and back." Apollo stated. "Seth and Chris will fight with our warriors outside, while me, you and the other ten warriors get inside the building."

Apollo continued, "once Seth, Chris, and the warriors take care of the guards outside I want them to surround the building."

"What if we need assistance?" Beta Andre asked.

"Then they'll be close enough to the building to help out if we need it." Apollo replied simply.

"Alright alpha, I'll run the plan by Seth and Chris. We will get the warriors ready to leave out tonight." Andre says. Apollo only nodded his head, watching as Andre walked out.

"I have a potion that will rid you of your scent so the enemy will not know you have trespassed. Spray this on all the warriors." Melinda says after a minute of silence. She pulled out two small perfume shaped bottles and held them out to Apollo.

"You better be right about this girl, Melinda.." Apollo trailed off in a deep voice as he took the bottles from her. She only rolled her eyes heading for the door.

"Even if I'm not right, although I know I am.. it's best you take the rogue alpha down before he gains anymore power and arrogance." She replied walking out of his office before he could respond.

Apollo sat up in his chair and placed his elbows against the desk as he intwined his fingers. He looked up at the ceiling before closing his eyes. He said a short prayer to the moon goddess. Praying for protection, and that she watched over them as they defeated their enemy.

Opening his eyes, he let out a slow calming breath. He stood from his chair, pulling at his suit jacket in the process to straighten it out. He knew people judged him for his choice of clothing when he went to battle and that was exactly what he wanted. Most people always underestimate his ability whenever they saw him for the first time. Apollo was always in a nice suit. That's the only thing you saw him wearing unless he had a boxing session with one of his commands. Even when he was out in the training room with the pack warriors, he wore a suit. By now though, his warriors knew better. They knew his suits were only a facade. He didn't look like a scary man. He was too good looking and anyone who saw him for the first time would assume he only cared about his looks. Some even think his warriors do all the work and he stands back and watch.

He reveled in the rumors. Never correcting anyone's opinion because they were just that. Opinions. No one knew the real Apollo but the one's closest to him. Like; Andre, Seth, Chris and Melinda, she had been in the pack since he was a little boy. She was like a second mother to Apollo.

He stalked his way to his office door, his face showed nothing and his eyes were cold and detached..

Time for war.. Apollo thought as he walked out of his office, a sadistic smile replacing his empty features.
