It's been a day since the forgiving of Lime and already I received something decent.
Seraphim Bloodline: Host Is Now One Of The Most Powerful And Holiest Race Know To Man.
Note:Host Can Do Inappropriate Deeds Without Falling, Also Host Power Does Not Rise Due To New Bloodline.
Having this new blood line, I recived a set a new set 6 wings with pure white feathers decorating them.
I was happy that this new things didn't suddenly change my religion out of nowhere since then it would be very worrying.
Currently, I was standing infront of Emma, Tomoe, Mio, and some other Orcs.
I jad just finished explaining what I was doing in Tsilge. Which I specifically focused on the curse part.
"A curse? That sounds terrible." Emma said as I nodded not currently wearing my Kimono.
"You can consider it so. We managed to deal with it using ambrosia. But the bad things is if it was activated everything would be over. Apparently fighting it off is impossible at that point." I told her.
"Dealing with that Level 8 curse was troublesome, and even though I can now disperse or repel curses. I think it will be a good idea to come up with counter measures just in case of any situation." I told them.
"Which is why I gathered you all here. " I told them only to receive weird looks.
"...What's with the looks?" I asked them.
"It's really pointless for you to worry about that, Young Miss." Mio told me making me raise a brow.
"Are you telling me this because of my inability to use healing magic?" I asked curiously since that could really well be a very bad disadvantage.
"...Well testing it will probably be faster." Tomoe said as she glanced at everyone and they all nodded making me confused until.
I sensed Magic gathering around them.
"Young Miss, We will now cast magic to afflict you with various ailments, so please don't resist." Tomoe told me making me eyes go wide as I felt all that Magic rush towards me.
"Wait what? That's a bit disturbing..." I said as I could feel the outside Magic getting on me.
Soon it all stopped and I was left standing confused.
"How do you feel?" Tomoe asked me.
"...I don't really feel any different. Did you guys cast weak spells cause it was a test?" I asked them as Emma sighed.
"We casted Illusion, Drain, Paralysis, Poison, and many other spells that cause ailments." Emma informed me.
"Each one was at full force." Tomoe said said making my eyes widen.
"Your kidding me right? You cast those types of spells at full force without any killing intent? Are the effects delayed?" I questioned looking over myself with Magic Sense.
"No... Well to make it simpler to explain. We simply knew it wouldn't work." Tomoe said confusing me.
"Huh? Why do you say that?" I asked curiously.
"Imagine that this water is the target. If you add salt, the flavor will change. If you add water it'll overflow. Think of those as various ailments. However, Young Miss, You are like the sea." She stated.
"The sea?" I asked confused.
"Adding a little poison or some extra water to the sea simply won't have any noticeable effects." She explained making me hum in understanding.
"So then the curse would..." I was cut off.
"Even if the curse was Level 8 or even higher. It would be no different than throwing a pebble or rock into the sea." Tomoe said making me nod.
"Heh, So I guess we don't really need to worry about that... Great, That means I can continue with the usual combat training." I said with a small smile as in the corner of my eyes I saw the Orcs take a slight step back.
'Hm? I wonder what's up with them?' I thought deciding to not mind it for now.
"Oh, also, speaking of training. A lot happened with the business. So I'll be taking it easier for a bit." I told Emma.
"That's great to hear!" Emma said as I nodded.
"So we'll be taking part in the combat training with everyone, and changing it to leadership training." I told her.
"That would be great! Well then, I'll go and help with the preparations for lunch." She said as I nodded and went on my way with Tomoe and Mio following after.
-Time Skip-
Currently we we're all at he lunch table which was inside me, Mio's, and Tomoe's temporary residence.
I right now was making something for little Tomoe who was seated in my lap as me and the rest discussed.
"Spy activity?" Tomoe questioned.
"Yes, Being a merchant without a shop is one thing. But if I want to start up my shop. I'll be tied to the land and will have to apply for a permit from the government. It seems with that they'll also ask me to spy on things." I informed them.
"Back when I went to go get my guild card. The lady at the front desk told me about this. The Aion Kingdom is especially enthusiastic about this." I told them.
"Well, Tsilge is within their territory after all." Tomoe responded as I played with Little Tomoe with my tails.
"I swear... They've always been obsessed with knowing what the other countries are doing." Tomoe said making me nod as I played with Little Tomoe's cheeks which we're adorable.
"So they always been that way... good to know." I said as I made mental note for later.
"Though most countries mostly do that anyways. No one wants to be behind and left a the mercy of an enemy." I responded as I continued my actions.
"I could refuse this proposal if it comes, but that will make the growth of our business stagger quite a bit." I told them.
"Hmm, So you have no choice, but to accept?" Tomoe asked.
"No, there's another option. I can just instead borrow a portion of a another company's stores, I won't have to apply for anything." I told them.
"In that case, won't it be fine to borrow the Rembrant Company's property?" Tomoe suggested.
"Yes, That would work very well. I'll have to go ask later on." I said as Emma arrived with the food.
"But if you're not building a store, What will we do with the land we brought?" Tomoe asked.
"Just hold on to it for now. There's not much land in a pre walled of town like Tsilge. So there's no guarantee that if we sale the land. That we will get it back." I told her as I quickly and perfectly made sandwiches for everyone without any mishaps.
"If we can't build a store, we'll just build a house there. Also while on this topic. Tomoe are there any countries without the requirements of spying?" I asked her as I handed a sandwich to Little Tomoe who looked at it with stars and a bit of drool.
"Well, about that... In the time I've been asleep, the world has changed alot. Including all the borders on the world map." She told me making me raise a brow as I passed many plates with sandwiches flavored with my Mana to Mio who wore the same expression as Little Tomoe.
"World map? Hm, Oh that reminds me. I haven't looked at a map of this world yet. Can you bring me one later Tomoe?" I asked her.
"Of course she said grabbed her plate as they a began to dig in while I smiled at slightly at the sight.
"Hm, So since we're no longer in any rush to build a store now. I have a lot of spare time on my hands." I said eating a couple of sandwiches with no hesitation.
"Hm, I guess I'll just take part in the training here for now until I do my own." I told them as Little Tomoe cheered on my lap with her mouth full as it meant more time with her and she gets to look at my many abilities which I don't really show.
"...Uh, Young Miss, about that... There's a slight problem with the training... because of..." Emma trailed making me raise a brow as she began to explain the situation.
"Wait? Me?" I questioned.
"Yes... It's really hard to say this, but it's not just you, Young Miss, It related to all three of you..." Emma said making me sigh.
"...It embarrassing to admit, but we just keep losing to you all, so we're... just not very confident..." Emma said bowing her head.
"What? You're down cause you can't beat us?" Tomoe questioned.
"And you call yourselves warriors? Pathetic." Tomoe insulted.
"The gap in our abilities compared to the three of you, especially Young Miss, seems to have discouraged many others..." Emma explained.
"Won't it be fine if we just don't fight them for a while?" Mio suggested.
"Taking up your time for that wouldn't help anyone" Mio said as Tomoe shook he head.
"Won't the just think we've abandoned them then? At least think a little." Tomoe said.
"Well... Thinking about the Young Miss's cooking is way more enjoyable." Mio said as I glanced and saw that all of her plates were clean of any type of crub.
'So more than 30, got you.' I thought.
"We just ate, granny Mio." Tomoe called as immediately the two met behind my chair as their auras clashed.
"Oh my, will you accompany me for some after meal exercise?" Mio said with a dark smile.
"Oi, Don't fight behind me. Take it outside otherwise I'll join in." I told them as I cleaned Little Tomoe's mouth with my thumbs.
"Emma, I'd like to check on everyone currently before I go off to train on my own for a bit." I told her.
"In that case, they should be resting right now." She told me as I nodded and held Little Tomoe close to me.
"Oh, I have business elsewhere, so I'll talk to the Lizardmen after I'm done." Tomoe told me as I nodded in acknowledgement.
"Hold on, Tomoe, I'm still not done talking to you." Mio said.
"Don't you need to go and talk with the Alkeys?" Tomoe asked.
"They don't need anything of the sort." Mio responsed glaring at Tomoe.
"She's right, The Alkey's are very strong even individually. Sometimes I go and practice Alchemy with them or even making medicines. They're very different from other races." I told them.
"In that case, Do you want to come along Mio?" I asked her making her instantly brighten and pay Tomoe no mind as she faced me with stars.
"Yes! I'll come with you!" She responded as I nodded.
"Good, Well Tomoe I'll see you later. You know where to find us when you return." I told her as she nodded with a smile and left through a mist Gate.
After seeing her leave I kissed the little one on my lap on her cheeks making her blush a bit making me smile.
"Let's get to it"
