It was going on 10:00pm. I was outside waiting on Harmony to come out the house. I told her I was gone take her somewhere to celebrate and to dress formal. While I was waiting on her I was just vibing and listening to music and strolling on Instagram.

I got off Instagram as soon as Harmony came to the car.
"Damn you look fine as fuck" I said as Harmony got in

I turned some music up and then made my way to this place I was looking at.

About an hour later I pulled up to Ruth Chris steakhouse.
"An hour away for this, it better be good" Harmony said
"I haven't been here before but I heard it's good. Don't open your door" I said

I got out and grabbed my coat and closed the door. I went to the other side of the car and opened the door for Harmony.
"Thank you" Harmony said
"You welcome ma" I said
I locked the door and me and Harmony walked into the place.
"Y'all closed?" I asked
"No not yet close at 11:30" She said
"Y'all think y'all can squeeze us in?" I asked
"Yeah, follow me" She said
We followed behind the lady until she took us too a booth and placed the menus down.
"Have a nice dinner" she said
"Okay this is nice" Harmony said
"Just because I'm hood don't mean I can't be romantic" I said
"Never would've thought Malik would be like this though" Harmony said looking at her menu
"I ain't did no shit like this before so I guess you can say you special. " I said

Harmony smiled and looked at her menu. I looked at my menu also to see what I wanted. I knew this shit was expensive but it was worth it for Harmony.
"So how you been holding up?" Harmony asked
"I'll be holding up okay" I said
"That's good" Harmony said
"Im Sam how can I start you guys off? Drinks? Appetizer ?" Sam asked
"Uh y'all I'd?" I asked
"No sir we don't" Sam said
"Okay can we get something strong?" I asked
"Okay strongest thing? Sam asked
"Strongest" I said
"Gotcha" Sam said walking away
"This about to be a wild night." I said looking at Harmony

Earlier today Malik ended up saying he wanted to take me out somewhere to celebrate that we found a house. I didn't think to much of it but when he told me to dress formal I was like this gotta be a date or something. I decided to put on red and he put on black which I swear was very unplanned. Malik ended up taking me to a nice place called Ruth's never been on this side before and never been here so I was looking forward to eating good. Malik ended up getting us a strong drink which I don't know what it was but hell I never drunk before so I know this was about to be crazy.
"You tryna get me drunk huh?" I asked
"Nah" Malik said
"Mhm "smothering strong" I said
"Yea sum strong so we can lighten up" Malik said
"I'm light" I said
"Don't even make sense" Malik said chuckling
"So" I said
"Okay here's a margarita for the lady" Sam said

"Are you guys ready to place your order?" Sam asked

"Okay I want to try the steak and mashed potato's with green beans and the Mac and cheese" I said
"Okay and how would you like that steak?" Sam asked
"Well done is fine" I said

"I want the steak with Mac and cheese and green beans" Malik said

"Medium well" Malik said
"Will that be all for the both of you?" Sam asked

"It will be out shortly" Sam said taking the menus and walking away

"Nah I was gone get that anyways" Malik said

"So this what our first date?" Malik asked
"I guess you can say that" I said sipping my drink

I let Malik get a sip of my drink.
"It's good" Malik said
"I know right" I said sipping again
"Aye slow down it's a drink now remember that" Malik said chuckling

This was really good I'm not gone lie. It was a fruity and tasted like juice you could barely taste the liquor.

Me and Malik continued talking and drinking our drinks until our food got here.
