In a short period of time, a person can change so much. Whether it was their attitude or their physical appearance.

For Stella, It was both.

She loathed her parents even more. It was a miracle that they only crucio-ed her once on her summer break. It was when she fought back saying that she loves being a blood-traitor rather than some prejudiced pureblood.

But that did not stop them from hurting the her. She received more physical abuse, like a slap everytime she answers back, or a hit by a stick, everytime she had bad posture and wore muggle clothes.

And speaking of appearances, Stella bloomed even more from yet another puberty that was left to hit her.

Her smooth black wavy hair was an inch below her waist, her face started to mature a little bit, her lips were pink and plump, her lashes were curved and longer, oh and her curves.

Coline Rosier started buying her daughter sumptuous dresses that were fit for her daughter's hourglass figure.

She said it'll make her look presentable for the other families, which is why every bloody day, Stella and her mother were out buying every dress that fits her.

And with Collette staying inside their Manor, instead of coming with them.

The older Rosier sibling had been snappy about this.

Stella knew there was something going on between her sudden change of behavior since she graduated.

And she needed to figure it all out.

"This'll do." Coline says giving Stella a stunning long A-line silver dress that had lots of glitters in it.

"Godric— it's blinding." Stella looked at the dress in distaste.

It was beautiful, but she doesn't really like it.

"Don't even use that name in our household." Coline sneered.

"Fine. But I'm not wearing that." She stubbornly says. "I don't want to be the cynosure of the party when everyone else is wearing plain colored dresses."

"Then that's good. Boys from other families should know of the youngest Rosier." Coline states. "I doubt the other girls would be even a competition to you."

Coline grabbed Stella's chin applying subtle make-up. "Hmm." She hummed, raising an eyebrow. "You're lucky you don't even need to wear a thick make-up or drink a beautification potion unlike all the other girls on the party."

"Get dressed." Coline says, taking one look at her daughter's face. "We leave in an hour."

"This party is boring." Belle Zabini says forcing out a smile and waving subtly at the people.

"Everyone is boring." Stella wondered if her fellow marauders, Eloise, and Portia were alright.

Belle and Stella had been spending their summer together. For every single day, they either drink tea, teach Belle how to ride a broom to play Quidditch, and even dance ballet.

That's how Stella missed her bestfriend, Belle, so much.

"Is that your cousin?" Belle asked pointing at someone snogging in the corner of the room. "That's Evan Rosier!"

"Let him." Stella flatly says. She's not close on any of her relatives. Not a single one for they all shared one belief and bad habits. "We're not even that close anyway."

"Speaking of boys, Malfoy hasn't been able to take his ugly eyes off of you." Belle teased.

Stella looked behind her, and Lucius Malfoy really was staring at her. Smirking as she spared him a glance. "You're right."

"About him having staring problems?" Belle rolled her eyes at Malfoy.

"No, about him being ugly." Stella says, making Belle choke on her grape juice.

"—and now I've got Nott, Greengrass, and Travers on my tail!" Stella ranted.

Coline Rosier has been introducing Stella to boys her age so 'she was secured for her future'. A suitor or some sort. One that will benefit both families by having a pureblood heir.

And to Stella's own thoughts, it was utterly sickening by having her to be forced into an arranged marriage as soon as she graduates.

Now, Belle and Stella were walking around the Parkinson Manor to avoid everyone.

"You know what I think?" Belle smirked.

"When I get older, I'll marry those old dimwits, so if they die, their money would go on me. It's like hitting two birds with one stone. I had a husband and I have their money at the same time!"

"That's actually brilliant." Stella agreed.

As they were walking down the corridors, arms were wrapped around her petite figure. Out of instinct, she jabbed that person's rib as if they were her competition on Quidditch.

"Ouch— your jabs are more powerful since you started Quidditch."

Belle had her shoe out to throw it at the person. Stella turned around. "Sirius?!"

"Hi." Sirius waves his hand while the other clutches his rib.

Without hesitation, Stella jumped onto Sirius' arms, and he swung her around, missing his best friend. "I missed you, snuffles."

"Me too, star."

"So, the shoe is not needed then?" Belle asked.

"No, Belle." Stella chuckled, making Belle put on her shoes back.

"Sirius, meet Belle. Belle, meet Sirius."

"Oh! you're the boy who colored Malfoy's hair!" Belle exclaimed. "I'm a huge fan of your marauding."

Sirius winked at Belle as he shook hands with her. "Pleasure to meet you, the bestfriend from Beauxbatons."

"Wait— so why and how are you here?!" He turned to Stella again.

"I'm also a pureblood, you nitwit." Stella rolled her eyes.

"Oh. oh, yeah!"

"I missed your stupidity." Stella admits, looking at Sirius who wore a fine suit that was definitely picked by Walburga Black.

"I missed your sass." He says smugly. "Does it run in your genes? I pity whoever faces your sassy children then."

"Well, I feel bad for your children too." Stella taunts. "They must have your brain and insurmountable ego like their dad."

"Are you both always like this?" Belle asked as she watched in confusion.

Without hesitation they both answered. "Yes."

"Can we stop talking about children? considering that her mum actually wanted her to have one with Malfoy in the future?"

"Belle, please stop mentioning Malfoy." Stella groaned.

"You're getting betrothed to Malfoy?!" Sirius asked in disgust. His mind immediately went on how James would react.

He'd probably lose his sanity.

"No! Godric, no! I'd run away from home if that ever happens." Stella gave both of her friends a disbelief look.

"You and me both." Sirius agreed. Even Walburga was setting him up with someone.

"I think I'd be a rich widow." Belle stated causing Stella and Sirius to laugh.

"Say, I think we should put those pureblood pricks in their respective place." Sirius suggested.

"Sirius Orion Black, you're thinking exactly what I'm thinking."

"Make it quick, Sirius." Alphard Black says before they apparated to 12 Grimmauld place.

"Thanks, Uncle Alphard!" Sirius says before they entered their house.

"Let's go." Sirius took Stella as they ran to his room, hand in hand.

Belle was left to cover for Stella while Alphard Black agreed to help his nephew.

"Mini dung-bombs?" Stella questioned as Sirius handed her the product. "I love it."

"I just need stink pellets then we'll go. Feel free to walk around my room." Sirius says while he was pulling out every clothes of his to find his secret stash of Zonko's products.

Stella walked around his room, noticing the Gryffindor Quidditch flags he has on his wall and a moving picture of him, James, Remus, and Peter on his night table.

She quietly giggled to herself as the room was exactly Sirius. It was messy, yet neat at the same time, it had dark decorations, and his leather jackets were in a separate cupboard.

But what Stella didn't expect to find was a framed picture of him and her that was taken by Alice Fortescue.

They were laughing on their Arithmancy class when they found a an old picture that looks exactly like Snape.

"Found it! — oh, you've seen our picture!" Sirius approached her with a smile. "Well aren't you just lucky you have a picture with me? you should be grateful, you know."

"Merlin— you're arrogant like James." She sighed. "But I like the photo."

"Ofcourse you do! It's because I'm in it." Sirius joked but stopped laughing when he noticed her glare. "I'm joking! I asked Alice to take the picture because you looked like a girl version of me, like a little sister."

"I don't have photographs with my brother because my mother forbid him to go near muggle artifacts." He explains, hint of sadness can be heard from his voice.

Sirius and Stella had an unspoken understanding about how easy it was for them to bond with each other. They knew what the other one is feeling because they grew up from the same cruel environment.

"Well, in that case, Let's take lots of pictures together, my dear brother." Stella grinned, grabbing his own Polaroid camera.

"My sister from another monster." Sirius says before they decided to waste atleast 20 Polaroids, by doing silly faces with Stella on her exorbitant dress and with Sirius on his well-pressed suit.

"Say dung-bombs!"

"Dung-bombs!"

"The whole room smelled so horrible!" Belle laughed as they all got out of the Parkinson Manor, due to the prank that Stella and Sirius pulled.

"You should sniff what Malfoy smells like." Sirius stated.

"So you lot are the suspects."

Shit.

The 3 teens looked at Alphard Black with an unreadable expression on his face. "Don't worry, I'm glad you did because the talk with those men are getting rather uninteresting."

"He's cool, no need to be tense." Sirius patted Stella's back. "He's the only one who accepts me for being in Gryffindor."

"Thanks for not ratting us out, Mr. Alphard Black." Stella says and Belle nodded.

"It's no problem, Rosier." He says, smiling at the girl. He liked Stella because she was a good friend to his nephew. "I suppose you'll be needing to discard the evidence?"

Sirius dropped all the dung-bomb and Stinking pellet wrappers to the ground as Alphard pointed his wand at it.

"Evanesco."

"Thanks, Mr. Black." Belle grinned. One night with the 2 marauders were enough to influence her with mischief.

Suddenly, Stella and her family were already calling her to get to their car. "I'll see you on the train?" she asked Sirius.

"I will." Sirius nodded, hugging her one last time. "Stay safe for me, will you?"

"As long as you stay safe as well." Stella smiled.

"I'll stay safe too, if anyone's asking." Belle joked, making Alphard laugh.

"Don't be a baby, Belle, I'll see you tomorrow anyway." Stella waved her hand one more time before lifting up her dress for her to walk faster to their car.

"That party was a disaster, us guests had to leave sooner! I'm glad you lot weren't involved in that situation, or else it'll tarnish our family name." Luke Rosier pointed out to his children.

Stella had to fight back a smirk.

Finding a way to end a horrid party was just one of the perks that comes by being a marauder.
