"BLAZE!!"
They turned to see Sparkle and AJ at the dock, surrounded with some magical green barrier.
"Sparkle! AJ!" Blaze swam over to them. "Are you okay? Where are Pickle, Mom and Dad?!"
"Pickle told us to go to the dock while Mom and Dad helped everyone get out of the city!" Sparkle cried before noticing his brother's form. "Wait a minute, YOU'RE A MERMAID!!"
"Yeah, I am. What do you think?"
"That is so awesome!!" Sparkle squealed.
"Uh, Blaze, who are they?" AJ asked, gesturing to the other mermaids.
"This is Crusher's family. They're a key part of breaking Crusher free from Lucid's control."
"So there's a plan?" AJ asked.
"Yep!" Blaze nodded.
"But for it to work, we're going to have to get Crusher towards us," Glacier told them.
"How?" Sparkle asked.
"Either we need to get him to us OR we go to him," Dynama said.
"I can try and lure them here while the rest of you wait for me to dive back into the water to safety. And bring my little brother and sister in the water with you!" Blaze suggested.
"You got it, Blaze!" Glacier smiled.
Blaze jumped out of the water, and the twins removed their magic, turning him into a monster machine again before he dashed off. As he did, Dynama used her magic to carefully transform Sparkle and AJ into a mermaid, setting them down in the water.
AJ gasped as his legs turned into an orange tail with red fins. Sparkle squealed as she transformed into a mermaid with tan skin, fuchsia hair and with an orange tail with sparkly pink fins.
"Wow..."
"This is so amazing!"
"You both look great," Glacier smiled. "Now we just need to wait for Blaze to come back,"

Blaze hissed as he rushed into the destroyed buildings of his once beloved home. Scorch marks and flames were everywhere as he zoomed through the partly burnt streets.
"Come on... where are you?"
A roar came from far away, and Blaze headed straight there. He gasped as he watched Pickle and Lucid still battling in their large forms.
"Whoa!" he gasped and looked around. "But where's Mom and Dad? MOM?! DAD?!"
"BLAZE!"
He turned to find his parents in a green force field, just like Sparkle and AJ were in but bigger and surrounded by flames.
"Are you both okay?!" Blaze gasped.
"We're fine!" Phoenix told him. "This force field is keeping the flames from touching us anyway,"
"Get out of here, Blaze! It's not safe!" Flame cried out.
"But I need to lure Lucid to the dock for our plan to work! Have you seen Crusher?"
Phoenix and Flame pointed up, and Blaze glanced to where they pointed. He gasped to see Crusher hovering above, in his mermaid form, eyes red as blood as Lucid's magic surrounded him.
"Oh no... HEY, LUCID!! OVER HERE, YOU SCALY LIZARD!!"
Lucid looked over and saw Blaze breaking his parents out. He snarled.
"MORTAL SCUM!!"
Crusher turned at his voice as well. Both him and Lucid followed as Blaze, Phoenix and Flame turned and dashed off towards the dock.
"When I tell you, jump into the water! It's the only thing that can protect us!"
Phoenix and Flame nodded as they neared the dock. As soon as they were at the edge, Blaze gave the signal.
"NOW!!"
The duo jumped into the water with a splash. Magic surrounded them, much to their shock as their forms shifted.
Phoenix turned into a mermaid with her fiery red and yellow hair, peach skin, and a silver tail with red tips while Flame turned into a mermaid with yellow hair, tan skin and a long golden tail with orange tips.
"Oh my goodness! Flame, look at us!"
"You guys look amazing!" AJ said. "But where's Blaze?"
"I thought he was right behind us!" Flame said, looking around.
"Blaze?! BLAZE!!" Sparkle called out.
"He must be up there with Lucid and Crusher," Dynama hissed.
"We have to save him!" Sparkle begged.
"And we will," Calvin told her. "Come, family, time to go,"
They headed up to the surface to find Crusher using magic to keep Blaze captive in a bubble of red and blue.
"Crusher, please! This isn't you!" The red truck still tried, tried to call out to his friend, his rival, the one truck whom he always found himself racing against or with.
"He's too far gone, pathetic mortal!" Lucid cried out, zapping the bubble slightly. "There's nothing you can do!"
"Maybe there's nothing I can do... but what about Crusher's birth family?"
Blaze smirked and motioned to the mermaids that had just risen. Lucid's eyes widened in horror.
"W-What?!"
Crusher looked over where Blaze was gesturing, and Krisha smiled tearfully at him.
"M-Mom...?" Crusher managed to choke.
"Crusher... you've grown so much..." Krisha smiled.
"We've missed you, son," Calvin wiped his tears. "We've come to take you home."
"NO!! DON'T LISTEN TO THEM!!" Lucid cried out.
"Don't listen to HIM, little brother!" Dynama cried out.
"Come back to us! Please! Let us take you home!" Glacier yelled.
Crusher grimaced, eyes flashing red and black back and forth. He held his head with a hiss, trying to fight the spell. Lucid hissed.
"NO, NO, NO, NO!!"
"GAAAAH!"
Crusher finally snapped out, the redness in his magic fading before he lost consciousness. He fell into the water with a splash.
"Crusher!" Blaze gasped before diving in after him.
Holding his breath, Blaze was able to grab Crusher before pulling him back to the surface, coughing.
"Honey, are you okay?" Phoenix asked worriedly as Blaze gave Crusher to his father.
"I'm fine, Mom," the red truck assured. "But what about Crusher? Will he be okay?"
"He will be fine," Dynama assured him as Krisha gently took him out of the truck's tires. "He just needs to heal and--"
"HOW DARE YOU?!"
The group turned and gasped to see Lucid snarling and moving forward threateningly towards them.
"Lucid, as long as we're in the water, there's no way you can hurt us!" Sparkle snapped. "R-Right, Queen Krisha, ma'am?"
"That's right," Krisha nodded. "Demon dragons can't go in water,"
"But... do you know of any way we can... you know, destroy him?" AJ asked. "So he can't cause anymore situations like this?"
"I-"
"LUCID!!"
They all glanced up to see Pickle growing into his largest form yet. He snarled at the demon dragon as he towered over all of them.
"Uh, Pickle? Do us a favor and kill this guy, will ya?" Sparkle called up.
"With pleasure," Pickle smirked and grabbed Lucid with his tentacle.
"A little dark there, Sparkle," AJ pointed out.
"Hey, I don't want that guy to come back, either!"
"RELEASE ME AT ONCE!!" Lucid screeched, trying to burn Pickle with his flames.
"NEVER!!" Pickle snarled, squeezing his tentacle tightly while he casted his spell.
Lucid screamed as he felt green and golden magic surround him, putting out his flames and reversing his dragon form.
And in a few moments, he was gone.
