In night,
Mahi was sitting on the bed. Saks came to him and sat beside him

Saks: toh itni problem hai toh why u even married me??

Saks(throwing pillow): i will kill u Mahi.
That time they head a knock on the door. Saks opened the door only to find Vi standing there with sweaty face
Saks: cheeku?? What happened?? R u fine.
Vi(mumbles): not sleepy
Mahi: haan toh aaja na mere paas. I know how to put u to sleep
Saks: haan cheeku u go sleep with Mahi, I will sleep with di.
Vi nodded and Saks went saying good night to them. Mahi spread his arms and Vi climbed over him in no time and adjusted beside him throwing his hand and leg around Mahi with his head on Mahi's chest snuggling more to him
Mahi(patting his head): what happened baccha??
Vi(shaking voice): night..nightmare.
Mahi: wanna talk about it??
Vi slowly nodded in no clutching Mahi's T- shirt more tightly
Mahi: its okk. Everything is alright. U just sleep.
Mahi kept on muttering sweet nothing patting his head sending Vi into deep sleep.
Mahi smiles seeing him and softly kissed his hairs nd slept tightening the hold
Next day-
In morning Mahi's friends came to meet Mahi.

Chittu: Ma yeh Mahi nhi dikh rha.
Ma: haan jaa woh so rha hai,

They all left with the mischevious smile to fill a bucket of ice cold water.
Jayanti: tum sab nhi sudhroge.
Santosh: bhaisahab ne 2 weeks se baat bhi nhi kiya hai phone pe. Ab bharpai toh krni padegi.
Chottu: bilkul
Everyone chuckled at them. No matter how big Mahi became but his friends always stay with him not getting jealous of his achivement instead celebrating his achivement more than their own. These type of friends r rare. Right??
They sneakily went to the room only to find a figure sleeping like a ball completely covered with blanket. They threw two bucket of ice cold water over that sleeping figure.
Only result in Vi wake up screaming.
Vi: aah bhai tsunami bacchaoo.
He stopped as he saw Mahi's friends there. The others too came hearing his shouts only to find Vi sitting there scowling fully drenched with his hairs scattered all over his forehead. They tried to supress their giggles but end up laughing badly making Vi scowl more
Mahi(coming from washroom): kya hua?? (Seeing his friends) tum sab??
Mahi went and hugged them.
Mahi(to cheeku): tujhe kya hua?? Bheeg kaise gya??
Saks(laughing): thinking it to be u they threw buckets of ice cold water on him.
Mahi too started laughing.
Vi: its not funny
Mahi: its very funny
Vi( turning away puffing his cheeks): kattie.
Mahi(pulling his cheeks): awww...
Vi(whines): bhaiii
Mahi: go and get freshen up. u will catch cold
Vi saw saks and Jayanti still trying to supress thier giggle
Vi(whine): u two too?
Saks burst into laugher followed by Jayanti and everyone.
Vi(whine): kya hai sabko??
Ma: accha okk no one will laugh now. U go and freshen up first. (To Mahi) mahi give him his cloths
Vi: no need I will take myself
Vi went taking his cloths stamping his feet
Mahi chuckled and shaked his head.
After sometime Mahi and his friends were talking sitting on the couch that time Vi came and sat on the couch away from Mahi doing something on phone grumbling with puffed Cheeks
Mahi: tum sab baitho main aata hoon
Vi(mutters): meri toh chinta hi nhi hai. Huhh...
His friends nodded and started talking including Vi in thier talks. Suddenly a cup coffee came in front of him he looked up only to find Mahi standing there.
Vi: u made it for me??
Mahi(rolling his eyes): nopes Sanjeev kapoor ne banaya. Offcourse maine banaya hoga na
Vi happily jumps on Mahi telling him how much he loves him.
Mahi(chuckled): accha accha I know how much u love me now drink it otherwise the hot coffee will get converted into cold coffee.
Vi laughed and both of them settled on the couch.
Santosh: cheeku wh...
Mahi: Vi. Cheeku main bolta hoon.
Vi(teasingly): no bhai u can call me cheeku
Mahi: no he can't.
Vi(innocently): why??
Mahi: because I said so.
Vi: well bhai legally bhai I can take decision since I am more than 18yrs old
Mahi: its about mental age bacche not physical. U r still only 5 yrs old mentally.
Vi(pouts): I am grown up
Mahi: good joke
Vi(mischeviously): Yuvi pa was correct only he loves me. Aap toh sirf naam ke bhai ho
Mah: ohhh... is that so??
Vi nodded teasingly and ran away. Mahi too followed him.
Mahi: tu ruk main tujhe batata hoon
Vi poked his toungue at him running faster. Running he went in the gym.
Mahi(stopping): cheeku bahar aaja. Don't run there lag jaayegi
Vi(running): noo.. nhi aunga aap maroge
Mahi: nhi maarunga aaja. And stop running lag jaayegi
While running Vi slipped and fell on the ground hitting his head on dumbells
Mahi(rushing towards him): cheeku!!!
He made Vi sit properly only to see a mark on his forehead with blood coming out from it
Mahi: tu chal yahan se.
Mahi took him to the hall and made him sit on the couch. Saks and Jayanti came running as they head some voice.
Saks(concern): what happened??
Mahi(glaring Vi): ask him.
Vi looked down.
Vi: sorry
Mahi: do the hell with ur sorry
Jayanti brough the first aid box. Mahi took the box and started doing first aid gently blowing air softly.
Jayanti: but cheeku how did u get hurt??
Vi looked down
Mahi: chup kyun hai??bol na
Mahi told them everything.
Mahi: and let me tell u he was a little away getting hit by almirah. If he would have hit almirah whole almirah would have fell over him
Saks(shaking her head): cheeku...
Mahi: hum toh paagal hi hain na jo bolte rhte hain isey. Leave it Saks kabhi nhi sudhar skta yeh.
Vi: bhaii...
Mahi left and settled down with his friends on dining table
Saks: he is angry na don't worry thodi der mein shant ho jaayega. U were also at fault na Cheeku.
Vi nodded looking down.
Saks: koi baat nhi don't do it again. Hmm??? Now come eat ur dinner. Meds bhi leni hai na
Vi again nodded mumbling sorry.
Saks: its okk. Aur yeh kya shakal bana rkhi hai. Give me a big wali smile now.
Vi smiled.
Saks mischeviously tickled him making him laugh.
Saks(ruffling his hair): that's like my cheeku. Come now.
They all settled to have breakfast which goes on with Vi doing cute attempts to gain Mahi's attention which end up Mahi glaring Vi making him pout. All were having a hard time in controlling thier smile.
Santosh: arrey Mahi chal na bahar chalte hain. Bahut time ho gya.
Mahi: not now yr. I have to because of some urgent work in evening we will see na
Chittu: no see wee. We r going that's final
Mahi nodded a little unsure. A shiver ran through Vi's spine. He was scared to let anyone go out. He just want everyone to be beside him. That's why he call his mother and bhai minimum 10 times a day. He didn't spoke much after that and silently completed his breakfast unaware of two pairs of eyes looking at him concerned
After breakfast, Mahi was getting ready.
Vi(mumbles): bhai??
No answer.
Vi: I know u r angry. Aapko jo punishment deni hai dedo, scold me how much u want but plzzz wapas jaldi aa jana
This caught Mahi's attention. He sighed and went to Vi.
Mahi(cupping his face): cheeks!!
Vi looked at him, Mahi hugged him caressing his back
Mahi: I will be back in one hour promise.
Vi(mumbles): pick the phone when I call u.
Mahi: done!! Aur kucch??
Vi nodded in no mumbling just take care.
Mahi(chuckles): I am not going on war kiddo.
Vi(in mind): even papa didn't on war bhai.
Mahi broke the hug
Mahi: chal I am going its getting late. And have ur meds okk??
Vi nodded. Mahi went from there and Vi went in balcony as Jayanti called him.
Mahi went to Saks.
Mahi(whisper): be near him and try to divert his mind. Infact let chhotu bhaiya, Santosh, chittu and satya stay here.
Saks(whispers): don't worry I will manage. When is the appointment with psychatrist??
Mahi(whipers): in next 30 mins. And don't let anyone else know regarding Cheeku condition. If he had disclose something to me which he even never disclose to his brother or mother then we should also respect his privacy.
Saks nodded.
Chittu: tum donon kya khusar phusar kr rhe ho.
Mahi: was asking Saks to mix poison in ur food. Ek idiot kam ho jaayega duniya se.
Chittu: whatever tujhe apne important work pr nhi jaana.
Mahi: ha ha jaa rha hoon.
Mahi went from there.
