Seeing it was 12 am Riley walked out her room and into her parents room seeing them knocked out
She frowned at the sight of white power around their noses
Walking into their closet she grabbed a box that was filled with money
Taking 5 stacks out of it she put everything back before going back in her room
"That's fa pain & suffering" she mumbled
She didn't have no idea what she was doing but something was telling her to just follow her heart and do it
Her money plus the money she took from her parents added up to 7 thousand dollars
She grabbed her bags and everything before walking out the house and putting everything in her car
"I don't got no damn food" she mumbled starting up her car
She drove to the nearest walmart and got out
She grabbed her some food that would last her for a while before going to the register
She put everything on the table and looked up seeing Skylar
fuck She thought knowing they couldn't pass notes
"Wassup" Skylar spoke catching her by surprise
She was starting to think he couldn't talk
"Hey" she said catching him by surprise as well

They haven't talked since the first day of school because she stopped coming and he lost the paper

"You should really get yo windows tinted if you gone be sleeping in your car" he said seeing all her things back there
"Why won't you just mind yo business" she mumbled putting her bags in the car
"You seem like you got a lot on yo mind so imma let you have that. You need somewhere to stay"? he asked
"No"
"So you gone sleep in yo car"? he asked
"Imma buy a hotel" she said
"A hotel room, food, gas, all yo girl products with how much money"?
"7 thousand" she said lowly
"That's not gone last you that long"
"I don't wanna come barging up in yo parents house"
"I live by myself"
Skylar was 18 and as soon as he got the chance he was out of his daddy house asap

Riley looked around Skylar's huge "room" in awe
The outside wasn't a pleasant sight but the inside was something amazing
It wasn't a real house tho, Riley didn't know what it was but it had a bathroom, kitchen and basically a bed room/living room
Since it was only Skylar it was perfect just for him
He decorated and made everything by himself
He had things such as beanbags, the clouds that light up on the ceiling, led lights, a huge bed, a area where he made things at, pictures on the wall he either printed, painted, drew, or took, etc
He also had a lot of teddy bears and stuffed animals
It was definitely a vibe
"When i thought you said you lived by yourself , i kinda thought you lived in a house" she said hoping it didn't come off wrong as he walked into the huge area with a blunt in his mouth and a plate full of pizza rolls
"It may not be ah house but it's ah home" he said sitting on his bed
She nodded loving his response
She couldn't refer to nun of the places she lived as a home
"Why was you finna sleep in yo car"? he asked as he lit the blunt
"I couldn't live in that house nomo" she said as he nodded already understanding where she was coming from
"I feel you" he mumbled passing her the blunt
She hit it before passing it back
"You wanna talk about it"? he asked making her look at him
"I'm okay" she said making him nod
"You coming to school tomorrow "? he asked making her shake her head no
"Idk. I'm tired of school this shit is really not fa me" she said sighing
"I'm failing at that, i got a feeling ian gone be able to graduate. Ain't no way in hell imma bring all my grades up" she said
"If it make you feel any better .. i'm failing too" he said making her laugh a little
"School not fa me either tho so i get where you coming from" he said
It wasn't that they wasn't smart. They just both didn't have any motivation to make an effort
They both was tired mentally and just wanted to live their life freely and not have to worry bout what y equal to or what caused world war 2
"I just wanna run away if that make sense"

Riley never really had anybody get her and where she would be coming from when she said things like that so she wasn't really expecting Skylar to even tho he did. He had the exact same thoughts
"Like just drop everything and leave. Leave everybody and everything" he said making her nod in agreement
"My only fear if probably being alone" she said
"It ain't nothing new to me i wouldn't even mind it. But i also wouldn't mind having somebody there" he said
It got quiet again until she spoke up
"Wanna watch something on my computer"? she asked
"What"?
"Cartoons" she said dusting her hands off
"Yea lemme pick" he said grabbing her computer
"Okay i'm finna go put on my pajamas" she said getting up
She put on her pajama pants and a wife beater before going back in the room
"What we watching"? she asked seeing he took the plate back in the kitchen
"Miraculous" he said making her eyes widen
"That's my favorite show" she said getting excited since she finally met somebody who liked the show as well
"Mines too" he said getting in the bed
They got comfortable and both grabbed a teddy bear before he lit another blunt
They both fell into a comfortable silence while watching the show on her computer
