After your first night at Suga's house, you wake up early the next morning. For the whole night, you found it extremely hard to sleep, being kept up with worrying thoughts that made your stomach ache. Then, finally, when sunlight first hits the bedroom window you crawl around Suga to get out of bed.

Following your morning cleaning habits, you walk downstairs. You open the door to the backyard and take in the fresh air in the hopes that it will give you a bit more energy. Nevertheless, in the end, you feel more hungry than anything else.

Maybe I could make breakfast for Koshi and his family as a thank you gift, you say to yourself as you close the backdoor and walk across the house. He did teach me a few useful cooking strategies after all.

Before you know it, you are finishing up the food and hear small chattering approach you. You turn around to see both Suga and his mother entering the kitchen. Suga's mouth practically drops as he stops walking and stares down at the food you've made.

"Mmm smells good in here," Suga's mom says as she approaches you.

Just then, Sakuta runs past Suga and up to you. "Did you make breakfast, Y/N?!"

"Mhm," you smile, "Are you hungry?"

Sakuta nods frantically before following you down to the table. You set a plate of food for him and immediately he begins to dig in. You can't help but smile, happy that he's really warmed up to you. Then Suga approaches you and looks in at what you made.

"Is it safe to eat?" he teases.

"No," you smile as you hand him his own plate of food. "I poisoned it. Enjoy!"

Suga nods and thanks you for the food. You then finish bringing over a plate for yourself and Suga's mother before sitting down to join them. When Suga's father walks into the kitchen, you bring him a plate as well.

"This food is really good," his dad comments. "Where did you learn to cook?"

"Well, Koshi taught me, to be quite honest," you admit to them.

However, Suga's dad shakes his head. "This has some serious skill. You must have inherited it from one of your parents."

"My dad's a good cook," you tell him, "but he never really had the chance to teach me."

"Ah," he nods, "well you do very well for yourself now."

"Thank you," you say shyly before you continue to dig in to your food.

When the five of you are done eating, you offer to clean the dishes. Suga helps by bringing you plates as you wash them.

"You did a really good job with the cooking, you know," he says as he hands you a glass. "My parents were surprised and appreciate all the help you've already done around the house... Not to mention how surprised I was, too. You totally ditched me this morning."

"It's not a big deal," you smile to him, "I'm happy to help out. Your family is giving me a place to stay so it's the least I can do. Anyway, I'm sorry about this morning I just couldn't sleep."

Before Suga gets the chance to ask you anything more, Sakuta runs up to him and tugs on his shirt. "Koshi, can you and Y/N take me to the playground?" he asks.

Suga looks at you for an answer. The second you nod, Sakuta wraps his arms around you and squeaks out a "thank you".

"Alright, now go get yourself ready," Suga chuckles. "Then we can go."

Sakuta smiles a huge grin and runs off to do just as his brother asks. When he's ready, the three of you then depart the house and walk to the playground nearby.

This is the one I was at when I met up with Sawamura a while back, you think to yourself as you sit down on a swing. I wonder how he's doing.

Lost deep in thought, you let out a gasp and grip onto the sides of the swing tightly when someone pulls your swing back and you begin to move.

"Lost in thought?" Suga chuckles as he walks around to the side of you.

"Y-yeah, sorry," you say as you catch your breath.

"Don't be," he shakes his head. "I get it."

The two of you sit for a while in silence as you watch Sakuta run around the playground with a couple of new friends he had just made. Then, Suga decides to break the silence.

"How long have you got until you're leaving?"

You sigh, angrier at yourself for his question than at him for asking it. You should have told him the date before now anyway.

"The flight is on July twenty-six," you tell him, "so it's a little less than two weeks."

Suga nods understandingly, but you can see the sadness in his face as he grows a slight frown along his lips.

"You never even got to go to the zoo with me," he sighs.

"Eh?!" you say caught off guard at his comment. "You're such an idiot. That's what you're thinking about right now? The zoo isn't even that great. It smells and isn't very interesting."

"I disagree," he shakes his head. "I think the zoo is very interesting... Besides, it's the last thing on your checklist."

You laugh at his comment. "Yeah, right. There's no way we accomplished everything on the list."

"I'm not lying," he hums.

You look at him curiously, wondering if he's just bluffing. "How do you know that?" you ask.

"Hmm... Maybe because I've got my own, personal copy."

"You weirdo! How many times do I need to tell you it was just something I wrote down when I was bored in class," you huff.

"Ouch, I can't believe you called me a weirdo," he says with a pout.

You roll your eyes at his behavior. "Okay, fine," you groan. "I'll go to the smelly zoo with you."

Suga immediately beams. "Great, I can't wait!"

"You act like a child, yet you just turned nineteen," you giggle. "How does that work?"

"You'll never learn," is all he says before sighing and standing up.

"What does that mean?" you ask, but Suga just begins to walk away.

"What an ass," you grumble as you stand up and chase after him. However, he quickly disappears and you stop to look around for either him or Sakuta.

Just then, someone grabs your arm and pulls you behind a tree. You recognize the person as Suga as he pushes you against the trunk.

"I'm sorry," he whispers as he gently runs his hand against your cheek. "I can't help myself. I want to steal a kiss without Sakuta seeing."

You smile and wrap your arms around Suga's neck to tangle your fingers in his hair. You pull him close to you and shut your eyes. Soon, you're met with the warm sensation of his lips pressed against yours. You feel a chill go down your spine as he places his hand on your waist and pulls himself closer to you.

"Koshi! Y/N!" You then hear Sakuta's voice calling out to you, getting closer each time he shouts. The two of you quickly pull away from each other just as he finds you.

Sakuta looks at the tree strangely for a moment. "What were you guys doing over here?" he asks worriedly.

"Um," you say before looking at the tree and getting an idea. "Oh, I was just showing Koshi this cool trick about moss. Want me to show you?"

"Yes!" his demeanor instantly changes to pure delight.

You bend down and point to where some moss is growing against the tree.

"You see when there's moss growing on one side of the tree, that means it's the north," you tell him.

"And I was telling Y/N that her statement isn't always right. Moss can grow on any side of the tree," Suga chimes in.

"Right," you add as you stand up. "So, we were just over here arguing over a silly tree."

"Ohh, okay. Well, I think that you're both kinda right. In school I learned that moss will grow just about anywhere but like to grow on the North side because it's darker and more humid," he says before letting out a ginormous grin.

Your mouth drops after hearing the words explode out of Sakuta's mouth as if he had been holding it in for so long. As for Suga, he pats his brother's head and tells him, "you're too smart for your own good, kid".
