Y/n had been able to clear things up with chase, once she was able to explain herself he understood her situation but since he hadn't really explained his situation and what he thinks she dosn't fully know what they are but she knows that she still likes him. She was just worried where chase stood. The girl looked up from her hands only heating system but form the conversation that was going on
"You've gotta be kidding me. He's saying the Death Star is buried underground?" Chase said as Alex finished explaining what his dad had told them
"The Death Star is an orbital battle station, but I'll give you credit for trying." Alex explained "Yeah. That's exactly what he's saying."
"Spaceship in Compton. That's kinda boss." Molly smiled
"No, this can't be real. This has gotta be
another of our parents' tricks." Chase leaned forward explaining himself
"His dad is telling the truth. There is a ship down there." Nico rubbed her ear awkwardly
"How do you know?" Chase asked
"She doesn't. I do." Karolina spoke up after a few seconds of silence "I've seen it."
"How?" Gert asks leaning forward now as well
"I've... been down there... with Jonah." Karolina sighed waiting for the questions to come piling up but none came the room went silent as they all tried to wrap their heads around this, they all looked at each other waiting for someone to talk
"You better talk fast, because I'm about to get really pissed." Molly bawled her fists
"He's my father." Karolina explained quietly, silence followed once again
'I guess I saw that coming." Molly shook her head
"The family that glows together, grows together, right?" Gert trys to joke
"And we thought our parents were the messed-up ones."chase looked at her disappointment obvious on his face
"He's been teaching me. Explaining everything." Karolina tried to get someone to understand
"Including the part where we all die in a catastrophic earthquake?" Chase scoffed
"That's not going to happen." Karolina defended "Molly and y/n's parents didn't understand how his ship worked, Their calculations were based on our technology, not his."
"Are you saying that my parents were stupid?" Molly asked looking at y/n to see her reaction
"And that they died for nothing?" Y/n stood up from the seat she was in causing chase to put his arm out to stop her
"No, not at all, I'm just saying that there are things about him they couldn't have known." Karolina backed up
"And you trust him?" Alex looked disappointed
"Yes." She nodded then shook her head "No. Maybe. He let us escape from the church that day, and he showed me things that are wonderful. And now he just wants to leave. That's all he's ever wanted."
"Wait. He's leaving?" Nico stands up now "How can you be so sure he plans on not taking you with him?"
"He hasn't asked me to go, so..." Karolina shrugged
"Just think about it." Y/n tries to get it in her head
"Is there a possibility that he takes you onto that ship and then leaves the rest of us behind to die?" Chase questioned
"He wouldn't do that." Karolina defended her father who they all believe is bad
"I'm gonna go with 'I'm pretty sure he would' " Molly nodded her head
"I would know." Karolina demanded "We're connected in this weird way on a deeper level."
"And that's why you're staying behind today." Alex is the last to stand up now
"Of course, you would say that." Chase looks over at alex "I mean, leaving Karolina behind is kind of your thing."
"No." Nico walks to the other side "No, Alex is right."
"What?" Karolina asks taken back
"You betrayed us. All of us." Nico sighs shaking her head
"Sneaking out? Lying about where you were going? With one of them." Y/n chuckles angrily.
"Yeah, but Karolina's the only reason why we got out alive last night." Chase looked at her "Leaving her here probably isn't the best plan."
"That's a risk I'm willing to take." Nico said quietly
"Me too" Alex adds "So pack your gear. We leave now. We're gonna destroy that hole."

"Where'd you get all the books?" Karolina asks walking into the room that was once y/n and Chase's but since chase wanted to have his own room the girl has tried to make it a bit happier. Gert was sat on the girls bed reading a book.
"There's a whole box of them downstairs. I organized them, based on mold contamination. There's run-of-the-mill mildew on top, water damage and warping near the bottom. Any truly toxic fungus I just kept in the box."n stopped putting the books in the shelf and looked at her and picked up her favorite book"Except for "harry Potter and the chamber of secrets" because I will read Harry Potter even if it kills me."
"Which it may." Y/n shrugs putting it back down
"Well, it seems like you've adjusted really well to Chase moving out." Karolina States looking around
"Glad it appears that way, I don't know how I even slept before ha- I'd continue Though I'm pretty sure you didn't come in here to talk to me about my relationship, or mold covered books" y/n chuckles
"I need your guy's help. Nobody trusts me, but they'll listen to you." Karolina sighs
"Why should we ... listen to you?" Gert turns to look at Karolina
"Because no one I know is more passionate about helping those who can't help themselves"
"I'm listening."

"We are so not doing your plan." Alex looks at the three
"We're totally doing our plan." Y/n nods smiling
"No." Alex said again
"yes." Gert argues
"The risk is too great. We already worked this out." Alex explains "I destroy the infrastructure with my computer, and you guys bury the ship so that it can't get out, ever.It's done."
"There's a moral imperative here now." Gert argues further "There are lives at the bottom of that hole."
"Who could be more versions of Jonah. Why would we help them?" Alex tells then
"Could be more versions of her." Y/n points towards Karolina
"If you bury them, you bury me." Karolina shrugs
"That's not fair." Alex begins
"I've touched them." Karolina tells him "They're alive like we're alive, and they're suffering. Dying."
"We can't think of the creatures as "them." That's the same thinking that led our parents to put teenagers in a murder box." Y/n adds
"And we swore we weren't going to be like those assholes." Nico days from behind the three
"How long have you been standing there?" Karolina asks as the group began turning around
"Long enough." Nico nods walking closer "I'm with them."
"I guess this just turned.into a rescue mission." Alex sighed shrugging

"Jonah thinks he's picking me up from our spot. He's headed there now." Karolina tells the group
"OK, tell him you're running late and to wait for you." Alex walks passed her "That should keep him busy long enough for us to do our jobs."
"Which seem to be changing." Chase sighs
"Evolving." Get corrects him "Into something inclusive and enlightened."
"And dangerous. We gotta go inside now." Alex reminds them
"Which means we need a better plan." Molly tells then
"Luckily, that's your area of expertise." Nico looks at alex
"True, but with this much at stake, there's no margin for error, so I reached out to someone with more experience." Alex says earning them to look at each other. "But we have to keep our objective to ourselves. If he knows what we're doing, he won't go along with it. Follow me."
Alex brings the group to the dining room where his dad was in a straight jacket
"You can't be serious." Gert gives him a look
"We have a common enemy." Alex tells her "He knows everything about the site,
and more about Jonah than any of us."
"But he's on their side." Y/n reminds him
"We have to let that go for now." Alex looks at her
" I want to keep you alive." Geoffrey tells them
"Something else we share." Gert nods
"Look, whatever you intend to do,
we gotta get there ahead of PRIDE." He tells them "So we need to move."
"Which means we need a blindfold." Y/n tells him simply
"A what?" He looks at them like they are crazy
"Secret hideouts need to stay secret." Chase tells him pulling out a blindfold "No offense, Mr. Wilder.

"All right, so what are we lookin' at?" Alex asks as the group sits at a restaurant
"There's gonna be lot of security tonight." Geoffrey tells them once his blindfold was off "Armed Gibborim guards. That was Leslie's job."
" 'A lot' like..." Gert asks
"A fleet of vans should be en route as we speak." He tells her
"Well, they're not here yet, which means we still have time.bIf we know the Gibb armynis coming in vans,nthat's all I need." Alex opens his computer and begins typing "I can get into the church records and then trace the VIN numbers. If anyone uses a traffic app, plugs in their phone, anything using Wi-Fi, we got 'em."
"Where'd you learn that?" His dad asks
"Remember that family trip we took to Vegas?" Alex says without looking up from his computer "You and Mom went to go see Cirque de Soleil?"
"Yeah, you said you wanted to watch "How to Train Your Dragon 2" in the hotel room." He nods
"Yeah, I did, for like five minutes, and then I snuck into Def Con 23, where I sat in the back of a seminar on how to hack a call." Alex explains
"So what does that mean?" Karolina asks
"It means I hope the Gibbs packed sunscreen, 'cause they're goin' to the desert."

"Hey, man. Geoffrey Wilder, how ya doin'?" Geoffrey walks up to the security guard "Hey, look. I left some files in the trailer over there. You mind if I get it?"
"I'm sorry, Mr. Wilder, but as I'm sure you're aware, the Church is in charge of the site now."
"I'm sure you know Leslie Dean and I
are founding members of PRIDE. She won't mind." He tells him
"I don't know. I got a wavelength demerit for letting the Yorkes in, and they even had ID." The guard explains
"Yeah, I don't know what that means." Geoffrey steps closer to the man "Look, why don't we call 'em? Together."
"OK." The two begin to walk, Geoffrey seeing the chance to grab his gun and point it at him "Hey!"
"Hold it right there!" Someone says from behind him, Alex comes up behind them and hits him on top the head causing him to fall to the ground
"Gotta love Take Your Son To Work Day." Alex sighs
"How many guys you got here?" Geoffrey asks the guy in front of them

"Hey." Nico answers the phone
"All clear."
"Let's go." Nico ushers them into the site
"Hey, you guys. We don't all need to go." Nico tells them
"Yeah. You're right." Y/n looks at gert as she felt this pit of nervousness in her stomach, she couldn't tell of it was her or someone else "If we get stuck, you can't defend yourself."
"You told me not to bring Old Lace." Gert defends
"Because she's not the most predictable creature, and we've all got our hands full already." Nico explains
"You need to look out. To text us as soon as someone shows up." Chase tells her
"So you want me to stay out here alone
and defenseless, knowing that a hundred armed guards, Jonah, and possibly our homicidal parents
could show up at just any minute?" Gert asks panicked, ah found it "Yeah, I got this."

"Guys, isn't it so awesome?" Karolina asks as she brings y/n and chase down
"I love it." Y/n smiles at her
"This is like riding an elevator, but with no elevator." Chase smiles looking at her excitedly
"Breathtaking insight." Nico tells him "At least Karolina kicks ass at flying."
"I wouldn't say flying, exactly. More like falling with style." Karolina chuckled
"Buzz Lightyear! I love Buzz." Molly says from the ground
"Holy shit." Y/n says once they land
"Glowing, living spaceship." Nico days looking down "Think about it. Two months ago our biggest issue was that there were no vegan options in the cafeteria."
"Gert was so mad about that." Molly chuckles
"Now we're trying to liberate a family of aliens." Karolina sighs
"Your family." Nico walks up to her "Are you OK?"
"Yeah." She smiles
"We'll do this together." Nico tells hern"It's gonna be OK. I promise."
"But we have to do this now." Chase asks looking at his Fistegons "Where should I cut in?"
"Anywhere, I guess." Karolina shrugs "I don't think there's a door."
Chase hits then earning a loud squealing noise to come from them chase looks behind at Karolina "Am I hurting them?"
"There's no other way. Hurry." Karolina says covering her ears before he does it again
"Anything from Gert?" Karolina looks at at y
'Guys, I think we should have factored into our plan that we're underneath the earth and our phones cost $8.99." Y/n says panicked looking at the phone I'm her habd
"How much longer, Chase?" Nico asks
"Every cut I make, it seals back up. It's like it's healing itself." Chase sighs as he continues to hit it
"Take me to the surface." Molly looks at Karolina "If someone shows up, I can fight 'em off from there."
"Not gonna happen. Take me." Nico says
"Karolina. Get out of there now."
"It's Jonah. I think I can hear him in my head." Karolina looks at them
"No, we all hear that." Y/n tells her
"He's here." Chase looks at them all
"His voice really carries." Molly shrugs "What do we do?"
"This is dangerous. You have no idea what you're dealing with."
"Chase, hurry." Karolina yells at him
"Xavin, can you hear me?"
"Who's Xavin?"
"I don't know. Don't want to know."
"Initiate the launch. Now. We'll service the ship when it reaches the surface."
The ground began to shake causing them to fall
"It's taking off! We gotta go!" Karolina yelled at then
"I'm sorry it didn't work." Chase says trying to help y/n up
"I can only carry two of you at a time." Karolina
"Take them! I'll stay." Nico step forward
"I'll stay too" y/n steps forward with her
"No! Ladies first." Chase tells them
"If I tell Gert you said that, you're better off dying down here." Y/n tells him
"I can do it!" Molly yells
"You're strong, Molly, not invulnerable. It has to be me. I have the Staff for protection." Nico tells them
"Nico, no!" Karolina yells
"I'm the only one who has a chance." Nico tells her "I can protect y/n"
Chase walks up to y/n and immediately pulls her into a kiss, they don't have much time but he didn't know how tis will turn out
"Go" y/n tells them once the two pull away "Now."
"I'll be right back." Karolina tells the two before bringing the two uup
The ground shook more as rocks fell around them, the two shared a look before Nico told her staff something and it brought the two of of the hole.
"Y/n!" Stacy yells seeing the two come up the Gert passes by "Gert!"
"Sweetie!" Dale yells
"It's a lovely moment. Isn't it?" Jonah asks "Families reuniting. That's what it's all about."
"Karolina, all of the preparation, everything I've done, is so that you and I...can have a future together."Jonah looks at her "Come with me."
"What? You want me to go with you?" Karolina ask stepping forward
"The entire universe... is yours." He tells her
"Why did you wait until now to tell me this?"
"Because I didn't know it was gonna work." He points to the hole "But now it has, and...we can be a family."
"She has a family." Leslie steps forward
"Who won't allow her to be what she is." Jonah yells "I'm the only one who understands her.She belongs with me!"
"I may not know who I am or where I belong,but I'm gonna find out here." Karolina tells him "With the people I love. I'm not going anywhere with you."
The ground began to shake vigorously cususing y/n to grab onto chase for stability
"Earthquake!"
"Jonah, you said there wouldn't be any quakes!" Leslie yells
"Yeah, I may have lied about that one." John's looks around then st Karolina "Get on the ship... and you will live. You stay here with your... friends, and you will die. The choice is yours."
"Please." Jonah looks at her
"If you love me, you won't make me choose." Karolina tells him
"Like all children in the end..." Jonah sighs "Destined to break their parents' heart. Xavin, Plan B. Full acceleration."
Everyone is pushed to the ground as Jonahs ship came up from the ground. Their parents began to grab things and set them up "Victor, are you ready?"
"Yeah."
"Stop the ship!" Nico yells at her staff
"It's too much, Nico!" Her mom tells her
"Nico!" Nico's dad says as she passed out into his arms
"Stop the ship!" Nico's mom grabs the staff and tries it out "Why won't it work?"
"Because it's Nico's now. Completely."
"Chase!" Victor says causing chase to shoot as Jonah who blocked it, he the hen went to shoot chase but Karolina stepped in front using her powers
"We were trying to help them. We don't want anyone hurt." Karolina tells him
"You have the power...to stop this." Jonah tells her
"So do we!" Molly comes up behind him and nocks him out "Badass Latinas: One. Aliens: Zero."
Fake and Stacy shit something at the ship over and over
"Shit! It isn't working."
"Don't give up. Keep firing."
Jonah stood up from the ground and yelled "Enough of this!"his power shot out causing them all to fly backwards and land on the ground with a thud y/n held her ears as a ringing erupted throughout them suddenly the noise was softened. The girl looked up to see the ship turn to black then all of a sudden it burst causing sparkling dust to fall from the sky
"Look what you've done." Jonah turned to them angrily he began to walk towards them on the floor. Y/n grabbed Chase's hand before pulling him back with her
Nico stood with the staff and yelled running at him full speed before she stabbed him straight in the back with the end if the staff
"No!" Karolina yelled as her dad fell to the ground. The rest of them stared st each other and the scene in front of then in shock. Nico began to breath heavily as she backed away. Jonah's body shakes bright light before extinguishing
"What the hell..." Stacy says shocked "..just happened?"
"Alex. Are you OK?" His mom steps forward
"Gert, Molly, y/n please..." Stacy walks to them
"It's time to come home." Dale tells them
"Chase, I'm just so glad to see you." His mom hugs him
"Nico. Are you all right?" Her mom steps forward
"Sleep." Nico says softly causing all their parents to fall to the ground
"How long's that gonna last?" Alex asks looking around
"L-Long enough." She stutters as tears fell from her eyes she walked away
"Let's go." Y/n says following Nico, she intertwines her hands with chase as they walk. The girl looked back at their parents on the ground

"How's your head?" Karolina asks Nico as she walks down the stairs
"Still hurts a little bit." She says softly
"Have some Hot Cheetos. That usually helps me." Molly smiles "If you wash 'em down with Sprite, makes your teeth feel funny."
"Or you could try aspirin. I hear that works." Gert looks at them
"But aspirin doesn't turn your finger orange, and that's, like, the best part." Molly smiled licking the dust off her fingers
"Last night was weird." Chase says from his seat
"Yeah. Understatement." Y/n says walking up behind the couch
"Teamed up with our parents... To do something good." Chase nods
"Was it good?" Nico asks
"We're still here, aren't we?" Molly asks "California might have been gone if we... If you hadn't done what you did."
"So what now?" Alex asks the group "Just 'cause our folks did one good thing, mostly out of self-interest, it still doesn't erase all the terrible shit that they did."
"My dad's alive." Chase looks out in front of him
"Is that good?" Y/n asks "Or... bad?"
"Those concepts are starting to get real blurry." Nico says before walking up the stairs and away from the group.
