Today was gonna be a productive day, very productive actually. Michael was doing his final shoot for the Pepsi commercial, I wouldn't be able to go because we have photoshoots and possibly music video recording.
"Butterfly, I'm about to leave." Michael calls, I rush downstairs and stop in front of him with my lips puckered- meaning I wanted a kiss, but he just stood there with a smile
"Boy if you don't give me a kiss, I know something." I demanded, he just looked down at me with a smile on his face, "Say please."
I roll my eyes and politely said please which earned me a kiss on the lips- very passionate, "Thank you, thank you very much." I smirk softly, we both said I love you before he leaves, I still had like 40 minutes before I had to be at the studio so I decided to just get dressed
~ later on ~
"So Jay, you're putting your single on your album?" Token asks causing me to nod, "Yes ma'am, I decided to just name the album Jayden Janelle being that its my first singles, what about yours?" I ask, tapping my pen against my notepad softly
"I'm thinking of dropping an EP called Above Time, just some peaceful, relatable shit." She nods earning one from me, as we talked more the door opens.
We look over at it seeing that it was Onyx, I turn back around and focus on my songs. I decided I wanted to do an interlude because why not? It's just gonna be called Jayden (Interlude)
Just as Onyx was about to speak up, my phone began to ring. I read the I.D and saw it was Janet, "Hello?"
"Jayden, hey, its Jan. Please get to the hospital quick!" She says, "W-Woah what? Whats going on?" I ask, everyone's faces turn to confusion, "M-Michael, he- he got burned during the commercial shoot." Janet says, a lot of commotion went on in the background
My breathing stopped for a minute, "Fuck- is he okay? Which hospital?" I ask, grabbing my things quickly, "Whats going on Jay?" Token and Onyx asks
"He's sleeping now but I'll send the address, just please get down here as quickly as you possibly can." I said okay and slipped my shoes on, "Michael's hurt, I'm sorry yall but I gotta go." I rush out the door
I heard them say something else before footsteps behind me sound on the floor, I was running as fast as I could to get to Michael. Lord please let him be okay.
"Jay! We're coming with you." Token says, I just nod and hop into the car, Janet sends the location and in like 10 minutes I was there.
Any ticket needed to be pay I got it, I rushed in the hospital and instantly saw Toya and Tito
"Is he okay?" I ask, "Yes, he's okay, there was an explosion we're guessing and his hair and jacket caught on fire. He's fine but in pain." LaToya confirms, "Can I go see him? I need to see him, T."
"Room 35, 6th floor." Tito says with a small smile, "Thank you." I said before rushing to the elevator with the girls behind me
"Please please please." I mumble as the elevator goes up, as soon as we got up to the floor I search for room 35, "This one, Jay." Onyx calls
I knock on the door and wait for Michael to say come in, he of course did and we walk in. My poor baby, his head was wrapped and he still had the glove on
"Buggs? Are you okay, baby what happened?" I ask trying not to let my tears fall, "I was dancing to Billie Jean with my brothers and I guess I went too close to some pyro and it went off too early. Next thing I know my hair and my jacket are on fire. 3,000 people saw me get burned, just wait til the press gets ahold of this." He explains, grabbing my hand in his
"You gave the poor thing a heart attack, Jackson, she almost killed us all trying to get here. She's gonna have plenty of tickets to pay for." Onyx jokes causing us all to grin, "Are the rest of your brothers okay? Where are they?" Token asks
"They're okay, they went to talk to Pepsi a couple minutes ago." He answers, "You're gonna sue them, right?" On asks causing Michael to softly shake his head with a frown, "Oh goodness no, it was an accident and honestly my fault. I got too excited and probably hit the pyro. I'm not suing them."
"Michael you almost died." I butt in, he looks up at me and smiles softly but I saw the pain in his eyes, "But I didn't, I'm okay, just some second and third degree burns on my head- I'm fine. I won't sue them because it was an honest mistake." He rubs the top of my hand
"They should still give you something, Mike, yea it sounds money hungry but I'm being serious." Token says, "If they do I'm not gonna keep it, there's an organization for burn victims I'm gonna help with." Michael says
"Such an angel, thats so sweet." I smile softly, pecking his cheek, "Just because my head is banged up doesn't mean my lips are, give me a real kiss." He grins
The girls aw and coo as I bend over to kiss him forreal, I didn't even hear the door open, "I hope I'm not interrupting but your mother and siblings are looking, Mr. Jackson." The doctor chuckles
Instantly I stand straight and move towards the girlies with a blush of embarrassment on my face.
"Well, the product you use in your hair is what caused the pyro to go off." The doctor explains, "Will he be okay?" Katherine asks, we took that time to really pay attention
"Yes, he should make a full recovery, but for the next couple of weeks he's on bed rest. Please look over him, headaches and dizziness are expected, no fast movement and lifting anything over 10 pounds for a couple of weeks. Just take it easy, okay? I'm gonna prescribe some painkillers but we're keeping him overnight to run tests and make sure he's okay." The doctor explains
We nod our head and look over at Michael who was about to fall asleep, thats Applehead for ya. "Are we allowed to stay the night with him?" I ask, causing heads to turn my head
"Um yes, 3 is the max though." The doctor says before nodding and walking out, I look over at Jan who was looking me
"Can I stay?" I ask Katherine, "You aren't busy are you, sweetheart? Don't you have concerts and things?" She asks, "Just a few, they aren't til like a month from now though." Onyx and Token answer for me
"We have an interview to promote the album though, you think you can make it?" Token whipsers to me, "Yea...I just can't leave him, not today, I'm sorry." I whipser back
"We get it, you're supposed to be there for your man." Onyx smiles which caught me by surprise, I smile at her softly and look at my feet as Michael's brothers move around, "Get well brother, we'll be back." They spoke before leaving
It was only Onyx, Token, Jan, Ms. Katherine and I in the room left, Michael was sleeping peacefully.
"Do you mind going to get some clothes for Michael? He'll just need some pajamas and an outfit to leave with tomorrow." Katherine asks, "O-Of course not, if something happens can you guys call me? I won't be long I swear." I said
"Child, take as long as you need, Michael will be just fine." Katherine pats my hand softly, "We got you, sis." Jan says
I nodded my head and placed a kiss on Michael's forehead and mumbled I love you, Buggs. "I love you more, Butterfly." He smiles softly before looking me in my eyes
"I'm gonna go get you some clothes, I'll be back. Do you guys want anything? All of you." I ask softly, "Can I go? I'm a picky person so." Jan smirks, "Of course, you Ms. Katherine?"
"I'm okay sweetie, yall go ahead." She smiles and waves me off, I nodded my head and took one more glance at Michael debating if I even wanted to leave him or not
"Come on, Jt, he gone be straight don't stress." Token smiles as Onyx rubbed my back softly
So we did a quick run because I was honestly rushing, we grabbed Michael some clothes and got some snacks from the store, we also went to pick up the girlie's car so when they'd be ready to go they could.
Once we made it to the hospital, we were caught by Paparazzi
"Jayden is Michael okay?"
"Yes he's okay." I answer
"Are you guys excited about the release of Survivor?"
"Yes, we're very excited." Token answers
"Are you thinking of going solo, Onyx? Aren't you supposed to be singing Tejano music because you're mexican?"
"I can sing anything because I'm human." Onyx replies
"Jayden is it true you're also going solo?" I didn't respond
"Janet when is you're debut album coming?"
"Soon guys." Janet smiles
"No more questions please." All four of us demand as we go into the hospital
Of course they asked more questions but we ignored them, this would be all over the press soon. The questions that got to me were the questions about going solo, yes I want it but do I really? Do we?
I've done everything with these girls, through the good and the bad. I have social anxiety but when I performed its like all my it vanishes ya know? It feels good being on stage but off that stage, around huge crowds scares me. Maybe it was because of the past events
"Jt, you good?" Jan asks, I snap out of my thoughts and walk into the elevator, "Yea, just stuck in thought." I smile softly, "He's gonna be okay, boo, don't stress yourself okay?" Token assures as she grabs my hand and squeezes it
I just smile softly at her and walk out of the elevator once it opens, we made it back to the room to hear Michael and his mom laughing and giggling, we decided to take a listen
"So you really love her huh son?" Katherine smiles, Michael chuckles and softly nods his head, "So much, she's the best thing that's happened to me, Ma. I'd go mad if I ever lost her."
The girlies all coo at me as I blushed and grinned, "Come on before they get suspicious." I smile and open the door
"We're back everyone." Onyx smiles, Michael smiles at me and pats the space beside him, "No way Buggs, I don't wanna move and hurt you." I pouted causing him to groan, "Ugh, you won't hurt me. I want you under me, now." He demands
Katherine smiles at me softly, "That boy's stubborn, he won't stop until you're under him, sweetie." I hesitated but finally went to lay under Michael but when I rested my head on his chest he said "oo- ow" causing me to jump off of him quick
He only started giggling and laughing at me when I started apologizing and checking on him, "I was kidding, Butterfly, come on I'm sorry." He says
"That's not cool, I actually thought I hurt you." I complain and leaned slowly on his chest, "I'm fine guys." He assures as he rubs my arm in a comforting way
After we talked a bit and fed Buggs, we sat around and watched tv until it was time for Onyx and Toke to go, "You sure you don't wanna go home? Its okay if you dont." Ms. Katherine says, "I won't be able to sleep." I giggled softly, listening to the pitter-patter of Michael's heartbeat
"Alright baby." She grins, adjusting in her chair a bit
Oh, Michael..
