she sighed and walked into the bathroom closing the curtain which was usually kept open to signal if one was in there as she sat on top of the clean toilet seat looking down at the ground as tears slipped out of her eyes
all she wished was to be loved, she didn't even think they loved her and if they weren't forced to have another ackerman child then they would have killed her or sent her off to be a slave for someone else in marley

she walked out of the bathroom closing the curtain behind her and walking towards the porch out front to read a book that was a secret gift from doctor yeager she opened the book flipping to the first page of the book only to her mother yell out her name as she ran back inside
she instantly saw an angry mother who she called her own walk up to her and slap her harshly on the face, most likely leaving a mark on the pale skin- i mean after all, they starved her weekly
she felt the tear run down her face as she wiped it away in realization only hearing her mother sigh loudly as the shorter girl looked up at her with nothing- not even hate
"go open the fucking curtain, what were you doing in there? touching yourself? nasty slut"
each word she said shot through her like a flare only to go out and come back five times hotter leaving a sting in the pit of [name's] stomach
she mindlessly nodded and went back into the dimly lit hallway, opening the curtain walkingn back in the kitchen to grab the basket and head out towards town to find food
TWO HOURS LATER
she hears a looks up at the sky seeing a gren strike of lightning, making her raise and eyebrow putting her focus on the food, until she hears a loud scream making her look up to see a bare skinned titan with one hand on the wall looking down at the citizens
she widened her eyes and started running towards her house which wasn't so far away and then she heard a loud boom, falling on the ground by a hard rock that hit her on the ground harshly
she got up carrefully and started running again, she may have hated them for the way they treated her but at the end of the day all the time- they were still family
she looked around forward seeing titans all around her and saw her house halfway gone with a titan beside it making her scream out loud from fear
she kicked down her door to reveal her mom getting picked up by a titan and she watched in horror as it bit her head off, then swallowed her whole as she stood there crying
she fell on the ground to her knees as another titan ate her dad, she got the blood from his body on her skirt and shirt, even her face
she instantly got picked up by a garrison regiment soldier, crying her eyes out as well as he took her too the boat to get on with the other citzens and put her down by the dock, holding her hand as he walked her in
"hey, im faye, and you're gonna be okay, i promise love" she heard the soilder named faye say, faye looked her in the eyes, and let a tear slip down her face
"i know what they did to you, i know what you saw, its all okay now. please dont forget me. but promise me, when you grow up, pick the scout regiment, be a brave person. dont let your fears control you, okay?"
[name] felt a spark in her and nodded pulling her in for a hug then letting her go before she walked off the dock as she sat there, waiting for something to happen
she instantly got her attention caught by a skinless titan who looked like it had some sort of armor on it making her eyes go wide as it ran through the wall breaking it everywhere
she turned her head not wanting to see what it would do, thats when she saw it look at the people on the train as she panicked as it walked somewhere
she felt her breath hitch in her throat as the boat began to move very slowly, she kept her eyes glued on faye waving by to her until it left and faye got on the last boat
she made it her mission to get to the top of the scout regiment for the 104th, and accomplish what faye wished for, by becoming a captian.
