I am a nurse. Between working as an LPN/RN, nursing school and working as a CNA, I've been involved in the health care field for over many years. The medical brain comes a bit more naturally to me than it might to someone who's interests/studies are elsewhere.

IT'S OKAY TO NOT KNOW.

This book is not to poke fingers at any writer, but to be a tool for those who might find researching health related facts difficult or boring.

Having been involved with the Wattpad/fanfiction community for years there are some common misconceptions or portrayals that have come up time and again (and I admit many of these I've noticed from my beautiful angsty authors out there).

There's no obligation to follow what's written in these pages (there are times I've written scenes that don't exactly like up to physical/cognitive accuracy- it is not the end of the world ;) but for anyone who might open this, I hope it's a helpful perspective on how the human body works.

As a final note, my experience has been mostly in home health, nursing homes and family doctors office. There will be aspects to more emergent sides of medicine, but those will probably be a bit longer in coming since those require more research on my part.
