20 minutes.

As the minutes ticked away, y/n's mind was consumed with conflicting emotions. On one hand, she was determined to leave her past behind and embark on a new chapter of her life. Yet, on the other hand, she couldn't shake the lingering hope that Tooru would somehow appear before her, begging her to stay.Unbeknownst to her, Tooru's thoughts mirrored her own, his heart racing with the desperate need to reach her before it was too late. He couldn't bear the thought of losing her, of letting her slip away without a fight. But as the clock continued to count down, the distance between them felt insurmountable, the weight of their unspoken feelings hanging heavy in the air.And so, with each passing moment, they both grappled with the uncertainty of what the future held, torn between the desire to hold onto what they once had and the fear of what lay ahead. In twenty short minutes, their fates would be decided, their paths diverging in ways they couldn't yet comprehend. But for now, all they could do was wait and wonder, their hearts intertwined in a delicate dance of hope and longing.

What if she had already boarded her flight, leaving him behind without a second thought?Despite the uncertainty, he pressed on, his determination unwavering as he raced against the clock to reach her side. As the countdown to departure ticked away, the airport buzzed with a mix of excitement and anticipation. For y/n, each passing moment felt like an eternity, filled with the uncertainty of what lay ahead. She couldn't shake the nagging thought of Tooru, wondering if he would come after her, if he still cared enough to try to stop her from leaving.Meanwhile, Tooru navigated through the bustling airport, his heart pounding with a mixture of hope and anxiety. The sight of a familiar figure in the distance sent a jolt of adrenaline through him, but as he drew closer, the realization dawned that it wasn't y/n. Disappointment washed over him like a wave crashing against the shore, leaving him feeling lost amidst the sea of travelers. For y/n, the announcement urging passengers to proceed to the gate served as a stark reminder of the irreversible nature of her decision. Despite the flicker of happiness she felt at the prospect of starting anew, a sharp pang of sadness pierced her heart. The finality of leaving everything behind weighed heavily on her, amplifying the ache of longing for what could have been.As they approached the gate entrance, the irony of their parallel paths struck Tooru. Just as he entered the terminal, y/n and her family made their way to the gate, their paths diverging at the threshold of departure. In that moment, amidst the whirlwind of emotions, both of them couldn't help but wonder if fate would ever bring them back together.

5 minutes.

The clock was running. So was Tooru looking for the girl he prided for. The girl he hurt. The girl that he made feel worthless. He indeed, was the one running for her. His mind wondered. If it was him, would she be the one running? Would she even bother?
The boy grew anxious. Meanwhile, y/n was boarding the plain. Her heart telling her to turn back. But her mind refused to let her go. It's like a romance novel. The cliche "heart or mind." She couldn't figure out what to do. But she continued forward. Walking on the steps of the plane till....

0 MINUTES.
ZERO minutes.
"I LOVE YOU." A voice yelled. Y/n's heart skipped a beat as she heard Tooru's voice calling out to her, the sound echoing faintly through the bustling airport. Turning, she saw him standing on the other side of a window, his eyes shimmering with unshed tears. Her breath caught in her throat as she met his gaze, feeling a wave of emotions crashing over her. Despite the distance separating them, she could sense the depth of his feelings, the raw intensity of his love for her.Tears welled up in her eyes as she whispered back, "I love you too, Tooru," her voice barely audible over the noise of the crowd. In that fleeting moment, as they stood divided by glass and space, their love transcended any physical barrier, binding them together in a silent exchange of affection and longing. The girl couldn't help but smile. She looked down, pulling out her phone. The girl did something. She unblocked his number, and pushed the call button.

As they stood on opposite sides of the glass, their hearts heavy with emotion, y/n repeated her gratitude and love, the words a bittersweet melody echoing through the air. Tooru remained rooted to the spot, his eyes locked with hers, his own feelings swirling within him."I won't forget," he whispered, his voice barely audible amidst the noise of the airport. "I'll keep our promise, y/n."A sense of determination flickered in his eyes as he made the silent vow to himself. Though they were separated for now, their bond remained unbreakable, their promise a beacon of hope for the future. With a final smile and a nod, y/n turned away, walking towards the plane that would take her to a new beginning. And as Tooru watched her go, he knew that their love would endure, spanning the distance between them until the day they could be together once again.

With tears threatening to spill from his eyes, Tooru watched as y/n smiled at him one last time before disappearing from view as the plane began to taxi down the runway. He stood there, his heart heavy with longing, but also filled with hope for their future. As the plane lifted into the sky, carrying y/n away to new adventures, Tooru made a silent vow to himself. He would work tirelessly to become the person y/n deserved, to mend the broken pieces of their relationship, and to ensure that their promise remained unbroken. With a deep breath, he wiped away his tears, his resolve firm. Though they were separated for now, he knew that their love would endure, transcending any distance or obstacle in its path. And as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the airport, Tooru whispered to himself, "See you soon, my love. I'll be waiting for you."

As the plane ascended into the sky, carrying her away from familiar shores, y/n couldn't shake the nagging question from her mind. Despite the distance, despite the uncertainty of their future, one thing remained clear: her love for Tooru Oikawa would endure. With determination in her heart and a spark of hope in her eyes, y/n whispered to herself, "Will we really find each other again? Only time will tell."And with that, she closed her eyes, trusting in the power of fate to guide their paths back to each other once more.

As the plane soared high, their love remained, Echoes of memories, forever stained. In silent agony, they watched it depart, Torn apart by fate, their fractured hearts. With tear-stained eyes, they whispered goodbye, Yearning for a love that couldn't defy. Lost in the void of what could have been, Their souls ached for solace, unseen.Alone in the crowd, they bore the pain, Each step forward, a struggle in vain. For in the absence of her tender touch, He found himself lost, yearning for much. As time drifted on, their love endured, A bittersweet melody, forever obscured. In the silent echoes of a love untold, They carried the burden of a tale so cold.

As the distance between them grew, they both carried the weight of what could have been. Each silently hoped for a chance to make things right, to mend the shattered pieces of their fractured love. But for now, all they could do was hold onto the memories and the hope of a future reunion.
