I had changed into a black top and pants with my red coat to match my hair that morning as I was going out with the girls.
I groaned as I walked between Lily and Alice around Hogsmead that afternoon. "So you and Black? Eh?" Alice smirked as she nudged me in the side.
The five of us were all wrapped up in our coats and scarves as the icy wind whipped around our snow-flecked hair. Dorcas and Marlene walked ahead of me, Lily and Alice, laughing as they held each other's arms.
After a few minutes more walking, Lily commanded that we all stop to sled down the hill into the village for 'memorie's sake' not 'friendly torture's sake'.

"It's not Lily's fault you and Mar can't steer, Josie." Alice joked as I shot her a scowl. The other two laughed at us as Marlene pulled out her cigarette packet and lighter and removed a tab from the box, then she tossed me the box as she lit her own, then the black lighter.
