This book was honestly a favorite find and well worth the read. I will say though that when reading this book I felt simple and I don't mean that in a bad way. I felt more relaxed and not riled up with drama around every corner as some books have taken up too. Sierra isn't your bold girl, she's just a quiet high schooler trying to past and stay in art, as the title and description could reference. Now usually this is the most common character arch in wattpad history.

We've all seen this, read this, and for a few of us probably wrote it ourselves but Miiki doesn't make Sierra a basic type character if anything the author makes Sierra a character we can grow more with. She's been through a lot and I mean my heart went out for her throughout this story but this whole book was pretty realistic and not crazy out of bounds. I felt like Sierra was a amazing support for Harry and I found myself routing for her and wanting to just protect her.
Now I will say that even though Miiki does use some common character arcs these characters are not one dimensional or basic and really can stand out on their own.
While when I finished this book I did feel like I got cheated with some unanswered questions but that completely went out the window when the second book came out which I will say I'm waiting everyday at the edge of my seat for the next chapter.
If you want a story where the characters really grow and can fall for than this is your book.
