" I can double what he pays you if you let me go and I wouldn't tell anyone your involvement " I plead with him

He looked down at me as if he is thinking about what I said

Then he just pulls me along

Damn it I thought I had him
We get to a door and he covers my head so I can't see where I'm at

I was tossed in the back of a vehicle the doors slammed shut
I lay on my side as we went along

I can tell we are on a road not a gravel since the ride is smoother

The ride Lulls me to a light sleep until I wake up to a startling realization I'm not tied up like usual so I scoot over to the side of the vehicle and sit up taking the cover off my head

I can now tell I'm in a van it's daylight out I inch my way to the front of the van
Sitting right behind the seat

If I can get up to the front when he stops and either drive off or just get out of the vehicle before he gets around to back and make a run for it I won't know until we stop
I look at the time on the Radio it's 2:53

The babysitters phone goes off with a text he reads it then tosses his phone down
" Gotta make a pitstop now " he mutters under his breathe

The van turns left and we come to a stop he doesn't even check to see where I am he tosses the keys into the cup holder then gets out

I wait a second or two then I look up and around to see where he went
My eyes land on him he's inside the store

My heart is pounding hard as I move between the seats and climb into the front seat
Grabbing the keys I start the van

Put the van in drive and make that van move likes on fire

I grab the phone

" Hello "

" Daddddy "
"Harper is that you "
" Yes Daddy it's me"
" Harper baby where are you "

" I don't know but I'm in a van , the guy that was watching me left the keys and phone when he went inside the store so I took and started the van and took off"

" Okay Baby listen to me tell me what you see any signs you see read them to me "

I was quite for a few minutes but Daddy kept talking to me as I drove

" Okay the sign coming up says Charleston 105 miles "

" Okay can you tell me if you are headed north or south "

" North "

" Alright you are doing really good now check to see how much gas you have "

" Grandaddy Liam "

" Yes Harper Your Daddy has given me the phone so he can come get you now how much gas "

" Okay Little One now listen to me keep driving North and tell me each time you see a sign that tells you how far you are from Home"

For the next hour or so I told Grandaddy Liam my adrenaline was slowly crashing and I was feeling tired but I kept driving

" Harper stay with me have you passed a sign again "
" No not yet but Grandaddy I'm tired can't I just pullover somewhere "

Granddaddy Liam just chuckled at me

" Okay Your Fathers are almost to you take the first Exit for Charleston "

" Why that's the long way home "

Driving a farther I see the exit for Charleston
"I'm exiting now"
" Okay Once you get off the exit go to the third gas station "

I keep driving I see the gas station I pull in and no sooner I get it in park the door flies open it startles me I scream

" Harper it's okay it's just me Dave"
" Mr Henderson "
" Yes Sweetie lets get you out of here "

He reaches over and unbuckled me
I slowly turn to get out sliding off the seat I collapsed into his arms
" I got you just hold on to my neck I'll carry you "

I was carried to the car placed in the back a blanket tossed over me a Body got in beside me and pulled me to them
I flinched
" Harper where are you Hurt "
" The better question would be where am I not"
" Well I have two pain killers and a dose of antibiotics to give you " Felix Henderson said as he handed me them and a bottle of water

" Will they make me sleepy "

" Then I don't want them right now I'll take the antibiotics "
" Okay well Here take the Tylenol instead now let's get you home " Felix Said

I laid back into Felix's arms letting his warmth warm me from the back as the blanket warmed me from the front
  I Listen to the hum of the tires it started to lull me to sleep I knew I could go to sleep and actually sleep I was safe but I wanted to see my family

I fought off sleep as long as possible but it took over I heard Felix say she's fighting sleep and losing it , Tell Axel we are taking her straight to the hospital have them and Dr Green meet us her breathing is very ragged and it's whistling
