𝗲𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲 - 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁.

ARIVING AT GRAND CENTRAL station, we — Jenny, Dan and I —— are finally back from a weekend staying at our moms. Which means we were three full days away from our dad.

"Della." the familiar voice of our dad exclaims. Making all of us look at in his direction. Instantly making a smile appear on my face.

Running to him I envelop him in a tight hug. "Come on guys. It has only been three days." Jenny reminds us amused.

"Don't you know? They are best friends." Dan says.

Making me pull away from dads embrace. Playfully smacking his arm. "There is nothing wrong with a good father-daughter relationship." I tell him.

"Totally agree." Dad nods hugging Dan and giving Jenny a kiss on the head while I smile at them.

Quickly snapping a picture with the camera that was adoring my neck, "Did you just take a picture?" Dan questions with a raised brow. "Of course." I smile, holding up the camera that my life saving was put into.

"So how was your mom?" Dad asks.

"Fine." I say, "Good." Jenny says at the same time, "Fine." Dan says in unison with us.

Looking at eachother we quickly shift our gaze back to our dad, "Fine-good as in 'maybe I should never have left Manhattan' fine, or 'taking a time-out from my marriage was the best idea I ever had' fine?" Dad asks us.

Making my heart sink, "Dad, you know.." Dan starts but stops when he sees the look Jenny gives him, "She's fine." Jenny tries.

"Fine-good as in 'I haved seen my children in a month so I'm happy to spend time with them'." I futher elebrate, making a small smile pull up his lips.

"It's still weird how Della can make the best in any possible situation." Jenny hums. Making me shrug. "I guess it's dad's postive attitude finally rubbing off on me." I inform them.

Dan was about to respond when his jaw drops looking at something, or rather someone.

Serena van der Woodsen.

"Ah, Lonely Boy found his long lost love." I tease.

Giving Dad a childish pout, which he sends me a glare for. "Well you have wedding guy." He teases back.

Where I shrug at. "Nah, I'm good." I deny, "I'm still wondering who he is." Jenny sighs.

Snapping her hands together and trowing her head back while batting her eyelashes lovingly, "The fawn haired guy, with the most gorgeous blue eyes I have ever seen." she says dreamy.

"Oh, shut it. I don't talk like that." I say back with a playful glare. "You totally do." Dan claps back.

"Hey, what happend to womb buddies." I say poking his tummy, "You want me to be honest." He asks with raised brows.

Rolling my eyes I shakemy head, "I think it's cute." dad speaks up as he ruffles my hair.

Making me pout, "Your first crush was Carter Baizen. Even though he's cute. He is not cute crush material." Jenny says making me chuckle.

"True." I hum, before turning around. "Come on. Let's go home, we need vitamin W." I tell them.

While dad throw his arms around Jenny and I, our shoulders. "Vitamin W?" Dan questions.

"Waffles." dad and I say in unison. "Right." Dan chuckle while Jenny just laughs.
