Chapter 16 "Spratlys"

B's POV

I've seen how he was hurt. If there's this person who wears a mask with ease, that's Eric. But he couldn't just fool everybody.

Not me because I saw and felt how he loved and lost.

Who is Eric Hugo Riviera anyway? Sino ba siya sa buhay ng Brotherhood at kahit papaano sa buhay ng F5? Is he even significant?

And who is he in my life?

Mahabang kwento pero alam niyo naman na(haha).

All I want for him is to be happy. If there is this one person who was hurt badly 10 years ago after the disappearance of Sue, that would be me. Siyempre ako yun akala niyo si Eric? (hehe)😂😂

Ok fine. Pati siya..

Eric's feelings shouldn't be taken for granted. He too was hurt.

I was there, I saw it.

I am Sue's bestfriend, Geronimo "B" Alonzo, but I was also Eric's crying shoulder. He didn't cry infront of his friends nor infront of his family. He cried on me.

So who was he to me? He's not just a friend. I treated him as my brother!

But of course I wished more than a brother hahahaha, pero waley inlababo siya sa sisteret kong nag-evaporate, and I am not into cannibalism, I choose who I eat. Charrr. Ang sa sisteret mo sa sisteret mo, di uso ang sharing, ano siya load?

During those painful years, what did I see?

Eric portrayed an energetic self to everyone. He was always happy, he wore his smiles to everyone. Bullied his friends. Helped most of the F5's in their battles to win their man. He was there for everybody.

I was there, I saw it.

He is Mr Congeniality.

And like everybody else, he has his set of women and he only stopped when SHE came back.

But she came back using a different name and wearing a different face.

When I found out that she was actually alive, ako na siguro ang pinakamasayang best friend sa buong mundo. Who wouldn't be happy right?

But the ironic thing was. They broke up, kahit di naman naging sila.

The stage Finding Mary Sue ended.
And they parted ways.

Nakakaloka silang dalawa! Mainam ng bakla basta di matulad sa kanila! I saw how my bestfriend lost her hopes.

But who can blame Eric? Diba pag nasaktan ka, nasaktan ka at dalawang bagay lang naman ang pwedeng mangyari sa isang interrupted love story. Ito ay kung may continuation or wala diba?

Interrupted kasi ang sa kanila dahil naudlod ito 10 years ago, wala pang actual aminan bago naglaho si Sue.

And being left behind wondering where Sue has gone, I saw how Eric got hurt. I saw how he cried and I saw how he tried his best to look for her.

So when Sue told me about the closure. "Their closure". Naguluhan ang 152 kong IQ. Pooteeks langs!

He loves her. Sigurado ako doon. Pero anong nangyare?
