"Well Josh. I have to say. You're a great cook." I said while eating my last pancake. "Thanks bro."

Josh kept looking at the pancakes and at me. What people do when they're nervous and when they wanna talk about something.

"Something up? You seem nervous." I just finished my pancakes. " I don't wanna talk about it. I'm just kind of mad about what you said yesterday."

" Josh I was just a little mad i didn't mean anything I said I-" apperantly Josh was frustrated bc he started yelling. " i'm not talking about that! i'm talking about that stupid ball of you!  can't you just stay out of all the danger for once?!"

I looked at my plate. " I'm still going Josh. You can or support it and show it or just shut up.  Can you promise me we stop talking about it?"

''Are you fucking serious?" Josh turned around and I looked down as fast as I could. "Bren please understand I'm never gonna support this job of you." I looked as Josh again. "wanna go get some ice cream after we get dressed?" I laughed a little and it seemed to work because Josh aslo smiled a bit. " Sure. If you pay for it I promise i won't fight about it anymore." 

"thanks Josh." I got up and got dressed.

Josh and I are going to eat ice cream and I'm paying for both. Is this a date? AM I DATING MY ROOMMATE NOW!?

I shook my head. "Not a date Brendon. Friends do this all the time. It almost sounds like you jave a crush on him." I laughed akwardly. "And stop talking to yourself. It's scary."

I walked out of my room again and clean the table. When I finished cleaning josh walked in. "Ready?" He asks. "Yeah wait a moment I'll get my wallet." I got my wallet, phones and keys and we left the apartment.

"Do you want to go to Roberts ice cream place of gelato paradise?" I already said I would pay so why not let Josh choose the place either. "Gelato paradise has better ice cream but it's a longer walk."

"That's not an awnser." I looked at him.

Why is his head so perfectly shaped

"Well let's go to gelato then." Josh awnser got my out of my thoughts. "Well let's go."

At that moment I got a text.

Unknown number: I watching you. Be careful

"Fuck."I mumbled. "What's up?" Josh looked a little worried. "Nothing."

"Well are you sure? Because your walking in the wrong direction."Josh laughed akwardly. "O eh shit. Sorry." I scratched my head and turned around.

"Brendon I don't now what your worries are right now, but can you try to forget them for at least 10 minutes and have a good time with me? Please?" Josh said with a calm begging voice.

"Sure. It's no big deal anyway. But I just have the urge to look around me because my job isn't the safest thing." I said while looking around. That fucking text. Who is it and how does it have my number?

"Please stop talking about your job okay?" I looked at Josh. "Sorry I mentioned it. I really am. I'll stop now." I smiled at Josh and I saw that it had a positive effect.

The whole walk I looked as subtle as I could around me. Josh caught me a few times though but it didn't ruin anything. When we arrived at Gelato Paradise I held the door for him and checked everything one last time. While eating ice cream I would just focus on josh.

"What flavour do you want?" I looked at Josh.

Sucks for you that his sexuality is as straight at his teeth.

I shook my head again. "Do they have Oreo?" I will ask mister 'oreo is my second name'.

"Joshua oreo William ur-Dun." Josh laughed while he said it. " I like it." he said while looking at the table.

I walked to the encounter. "Do you have oreo ice cream?" I asked. "Yes we do."a redheaded lady said. "We have the ordinary, luxe and supreme." She kept smiling and it made me feel slightly uncomfortable.

"I want the supreme twice please." I said while I looked at Josh. "Okay I'll bring it to your table." The lady disappeared and I walked to josh. I felt my phone vibrating.

Unknown number : I hope you're enjoying your ice cream. I'm closer than you think.

While clicking away the text I walked towards Josh. I felt a bit of panic. They know who Josh is now. If they would harm Josh I will never forgive myself.

"The ice cream will arrive soon." I looked around and I saw the guy behind Josh laughing at me.

Unknown number : looks like you found one of my partners. I would be careful if I was you.

"Something wrong?" Josh asked. " I think someone is watching us." I gave Josh a look. "We can't trust anyone. Were gonna leave this place right now." I stood up.

Josh followed my lead and he was clearly pissed off. "I grabbed his shoulder. " I just wanna be sure we're both safe okay? "  Josh rolled his eyes.

Unknown number: just so you know. Were gonna shoot at one point. ;)

Me: leave my roommate out of this.

Unknown number: guess we found you weak spot.

I started cursing. "We're gonna run and we won't look back okay? Here you have the keys to the apartment." I hugged josh real tight. "Got it?"

"Brendon are we in danger?" Josh looked scared. "Yes Josh. We are."
