If you didn't know, the vowels are A E I O U.
Here are the symbols:
This indicates the placement of each vowel with every form of consonant.
To put it into words:
A: goes just outside the consonant or main circle
E: goes in the center of the consonant or on the line of the main circle
I: same rules as E, but with a line stretching into the main circle
O: goes anywhere within the main circle on the line of the letter or just inside the line of the main circle.
U: same as I, but with the line stretching outward
Why are vowels sometimes with a consonant?
Usually, if the vowel comes next to the consonant, they can be paired together. It may get confusing if you pair them in the word HI and then also in AM because in one case, it comes first, and the other case, it comes second. I would recommend staying with one. For me, I like pairing it like HI and having them separate for AM.
Like so:
HI
AM
