but he's learning to appreciate
what distance can bring
and how much it makes his heart sing
to him it's not about you not being here
but it's about how fast his heart beats
about thoughts of you being near
he never thought it was possible
for a connection to feel so alive
especially in this short amount of time
so he decided to pray
pray to lead him in the right path
pray for guidance and to open his heart
he knows how difficult being vulnerable can be
but he prays to make that easy
so one day she will see
she'll see his heart
and he'll see hers too
so this will be the beginning
of something true, beautiful and free.
