Capter 03

We all are sitting in my car sipping our drinks and eating the cookies, the silence tells we are still processing what just happened, "what just happened?" I voice out, they both turn to me and we all burst out laughing, "we all really are besties and clumsy as hell" says Daisy,

"but hey you seem startled, you good?" Avery asks me and immediately turn to her "ofc, I'm a little shocked that's all"  "ofc, that eye contact was very intense" Avery says teasingly making me glare at her to stop, I park my car and we all get out as I lock my car we walk towards the college entrance.

we do not want to be late on our first day we enter the college and found some boys standing with their group that look towards us but try to ignore them head to the principal office for instructions but as we were passing them they stood in our way,

they were the same height as us so we didn't need to look up to them but as we did look at them, one of them said "where are you guys going, you're all new right?" "Yes we are and we're going to principal's office, do you need something?" I ask him

"Need? Yeah, actually me and my two other friends are single and need to steam off, would y'all like to help us?" Ik both my girls cracking their knuckles but just waiting for me to tell them when to join in, as my bestfriends they always let me handle things then join when things get out of control,

so I ask him "steam off, how?" "Well" his eyes raking all over my body "with your bodies- I mean company" and that's it, I lose it I just punch on the side of the neck and watch him as he drops to his trying to breathe I look back at the other guys as if asking them if they want a piece of my mind?

All of them taking a step back we head to the principals office as we have been here before we know where it is. We just entered his office and he stands up as he sees us and asks us by our name we confirm and he tells us about our schedule and we all are in the same classes and our lockers are together and as now we are officially enrolled in this college,

we can't drop out until we're done, he tells us about the college system "well as you're transfer I'm not sure but do you know about red time?" "Yes" we all say in unison with a blank expression, it's a messed up thing but it's alright we're used to it we have seen more messed up things before college but nothing justifies murder,

so that's the end of that and we head to our first class, we took a seat next to each other waited for the teacher to come but until then we started talking about last night when we were out we saw Avery get a text message from her toxic ex that made mine and Daisy blood boil so I called that dingbat and told him to F off and stay away from Avery because if I saw him anywhere near her I'll hunt his soul down before he even reaches her,

so I asked her "you don't think you're getting out of this one easy, are you Avery? Tell me what has been going on cuz last time I checked you blocked and deleted him, didn't you?" I ask her " I swear I have no idea how but I think texted me from a different number."

I knew I couldn't be mad when she gave me those guilty smiles so I just hugged her and let Daisy join too, "aww, so cute, look at those pandas they should be in the zoo what are they doing here?"
Said the guy I punched earlier we found out his name is Caleb,

"I think you didn't learn the first time did you, but they never learn do they?" Avery asks dangerously smirking at him sometimes I wonder if she would've killed us if I wasn't older and me and Daisy weren't close to her? Let's not think about that rn.

"what did you say you b**ch" and he got smacked right in the face his head rolls back with the force and when he brings it back to its original place we saw his nose bleeding "what did you just call her? I dare you call her that again and the next time it won't be your nose but stomach bleeding, got it?"  Threatens Daisy,

he quickly nods before leaving for the health office, we all sit in our place, our mood ruined because of him, "Hi, that was really cool, guys he is a bully most of us just ignore him, if you don't mind, wanna be friends?" The girls sitting next us says, "sure, my name is Jasmine" I tell her "I'm daisy" daisy says excitedly "Avery" Avery says with her usual cold voice, "nice to meet y'all, my name is Ivy" we all look at the professor who just entered the classroom and when I saw who walked in from the door I chocked on air looking at the same guy we saw in the cafe, now regretted taking a seat literally in the second row, maybe he won't recognise me?

I turn to look at the other two see them smirking at me "it must be fate" Avery whispers in my ear and Daisy singing "love is in the air" making me blush momentarily before I glare at them to stop and now we realise he started speaking already so we turn our heads towards him locking my eyes with those hypnotic blue ones and I swear I saw his lips twitch upwards before he introduced himself as our new professor,

he is only 24 and that way I know his name Allen, that name sounds awfully familiar, okay stop thinking about him and concentrate he also said he want know his class better so we should introduce ourselves and he is not very good at remembering so many names but will try his best soon enough our turn came so first Avery told hers, Daisy hers then I said mine "Jasmine" I said looking up to him and saw him lower his gaze and before moving looking in my eyes and mumbling a " I remember you" loud enough only for me to hear my eyes widened and heat creaking up my neck,

"he remembers me from the café?" I asked to go to the bathroom soon after, and the moment I got into the bathroom I looked my self in the mirror I couldn't do this again not again, i can't fall for someone last time it didn't hurt that much when I hit the ground this time in a short time I knew I was in too far off to back off but I can't, I shouldn't.

It doesn't matter I'm in I'm not a coward let's do this I go back to class and sit in my place and listen to him explaining I hated when the period was over an we had to leave but couldn't just stay so I moved to the door for next class
