"What if she-" Theseus started, his voice trembling with nerves, "I mean, she very well-"
"Theseus!" Newt said to him, "Where'd your courage go?"
Theseus looked at his brother and breathed in deeply. He reached into his pocket, checking for the millionth time. The box was still there, safe and sound and velvet. He stared at his reflection in the mirror, knowing his brother was right about his courage. It melted with her, but that was a good thing.
Then he started uncontrollably laughing because that's what happens every time he looked into a mirror.
He was certain she would say yes.
