"Hey" she smiled "Hi" answered Gavi "you won against Italy" "yeah, we did" Gavi smiled before dropping on his bed "I am looking at flights to Rotterdam right now. When is your family arriving?" asked Diana.

"Tomorrow at midday" answered the 18 year old "which hotel are they staying at?" "nHow and I already booked you a room there too. And second thing you should be here before tomorrows 7 because they want to meet you" explained Gavi "okay, can send me the details about the room?" "check your mail, I sent it an hour ago"

"Smart thinking, boyfriend" laughed Diana "always, girlfriend" Gavi grinned and they fell into silence.

"I'll see you tomorrow" said the girl breaking the silence after a minute "Text me when you'll arrive at the airport, I will try to pick you up" "I can take an Uber" Gavi chuckled "you are my girlfriend let me at last try" she laughed "okay, see you tomorrow at 11" "can't wait, girlfriend" "whatever boyfriend" with that she hung up.

The next day, Diana landed at the airport in the Netherlands, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. She couldn't help but smile as she read Gavi's text, letting her know he was on his way to pick her up. The thought of seeing him again brought a flutter of anticipation to her stomach.

As she walked out of the arrival gate, Diana spotted Gavi waiting for her, a wide grin on his face. He looked even more handsome in person, and she felt her heart skip a beat as he approached her.

"Gavi!" she called out, unable to contain her excitement.

"Diana!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with warmth. They embraced, savoring the moment of being in each other's arms once again. It felt natural, comfortable, as if they had been together for much longer than they actually had.

Gavi took her hand, leading her towards the parking area. "I can't believe you're here. It feels surreal."

Diana smiled, squeezing his hand gently. "Well, believe it, boyfriend. I'm here, and I can't wait to meet your family."

They arrived at the hotel where Gavi's family was staying, and Diana couldn't help but feel a twinge of nervousness as they entered the lobby. Gavi's parents and his sister Aurora were already waiting in the lounge area, and Diana took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart.

"Finally, you made it!" exclaimed Gavi's mother as she saw them approach. She enveloped her son in a tight hug before turning her attention to Diana. "And you must be Diana. It's so lovely to finally meet you."

Diana smiled warmly, feeling the genuine warmth radiating from Gavi's family. "Thank you, Mrs. Gavira I've heard so much about all of you."

Gavi's father shook her hand, his eyes twinkling with kindness. "Call us Pablo and Gavinin. We're thrilled to have you here, Diana."

Aurora, Gavi's older sister, approached with a shy smile. "Hi, Diana. I'm Aurora. It's nice to meet you."

Diana smiled, her voice gentle. "Hi, Aurora. It's wonderful to meet you too."

Gavi's family made her feel welcomed and at ease, their warmth putting her nerves at ease. They chatted and laughed, sharing stories and getting to know each other. It was a delightful dinner filled with love and laughter, and Diana couldn't help but feel grateful to be a part of it.

As the evening came to a close, Gavi walked Diana back to her hotel room. They stood outside the door, a sense of intimacy enveloping them.

"I'm really glad you're here, Diana," Gavi said softly, his eyes filled with sincerity.

Diana reached out and took his hand, her voice equally gentle. "Me too, Gavi. Your family is amazing, and it means a lot to me that they've welcomed me with open arms."

Gavi leaned in, his lips brushing against her cheek in a tender kiss. "You deserve it, Diana. And there's so much more to come. Sunday is the Nations League final, and I want you right there by my side."

Diana smiled, her heart swelling with affection. "I'll be there, Gavi. Cheering you on every step of the way."

"Great" he smiled and threw a jersey at her causing her to laugh. "Thank you" With one last lingering glance, they bid each other goodnight, anticipation for the final building in their hearts. As Diana closed the door to her room, she couldn't help but feel the electricity between them, the unspoken desire simmering just below the surface. Tomorrow would be an important day, both on and off the field, and she couldn't wait to see what the future held for them.
