Balloons and Butterflies

at the fair: part one!

When they get through the entrance they hear the loud music playing. The music gets louder as they walk towards it. Pinkie looks over to Fluttershy and notices her smiling. Pinkiepie smiles as well, she's glad that Fluttershy is happy to be there. Fluttershy gets closer to Pinkiepie so she can hear her talk.

"HEY FLUTTERS," Pinkiepie says, "WE SHOULD GO PLAY THE BALLOON GAME!"

"What g-game is that?" asked Fluttershy

" IT'S A GAME WHERE YOU TOSS DARTS AT THE BALLOONS AND YOU WIN IF YOU POP A BUNCH OF BALLOONS!!" Pinkiepie says, not thinking about how Fluttershy might not like how loud that game would be.

"Uh, pinkie... i don't know if i-" Pinkie cuts Fluttershy off before she can finish her sentence. Pinkie quickly leads Fluttershy over to the game, leaving Fluttershy still startled.

"THIS ONE!!" Pinkie pie excitedly shouts, jumping around while Fluttershy nervously stood next to her.

"I'LL PLAY AND WIN SOMETHING FOR YOU!" Pinkiepie grinned at Fluttershy and then paid to play the game. She picked up one dart with her mouth and threw it into a balloon. The balloon popped which scared Futtershy a bit. Pinkie noticed and pointed her free hoof to the backpack she brought with Fluttershy's headphones.

"Thanks" Fluttershy walked over to the backpack to get her headphones as she softly smiled at Pinkie. Pinkiepie took the second dart and threw into the balloons, she popped another balloon. This time Fluttershy didn't jump. She took the last dart and threw it to the balloons, and she popped the third balloon she needed to win!

"YIPPEE!!" Pinkie exclaimed, beginning to jump up and down again because she was so happy! She looks at the stuffed toy prizes that she can get and thinks about which Fluttershy would like the best. She sees a stuffed rabbit with a pink hood and a flower on its ear. She thought to herself that Fluttershy would love it and she got the toy.

"LOOK!! I WON THE STUFFIE FOR YOU!!" Pinkie says to Fluttershy, handing her the toy.

"That's so cute, thank you." Fluttershy says, flittering her wings a bit while taking the plushie into her hooves and putting it into the backpack. 

"YOURE WELCOME!" Pinkiepie responds, starting to walk around the fair some more. Fluttershy followed her, observing the different games and rides available. She looked at the Ferris wheel and thought about going up there with Pinkie and looking at the stars together when they stopped at the top. her thoughts were interrupted by a loud gasp from Pinkiepie

"OMGOSH!! THEY HAVE WACK-A-MOLE!  THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES!!" pinkie yelled, running to the whack-a-mole game   as Fluttershy tried to catch up. Fluttershy thought about it and figured out that she wanted to win something for Pinkiepie this time around. she went to play the game and grabbed the plastic hammer in her mouth. Pinkie watched, surprised as Pinkiepie hit all of the moles! Fluttershy dropped the hammer, turned to pinkie and asked her a question. 

"uhm, w-was that good" she got anxious seeing Pinkiepie's shocked expression.

"IT WAS GREAT!" she told Fluttershy how surprised she was that she was so good at the game. Fluttershy was a little embarrassed by all the compliments Pinkie was giving her so she tried to look around for another game  while pinkie walked along close by looking for a game as well.
