Chapter 12

"Well, I guess it was worth a shot." Izuku said while trying to get up from the floor "Y/n! Go, now!"

"Huh?" Bakugo looked at your direction "What are you two planning this time!?"

You froze. Izuku came faster than you anticipated, so you couldn't stay, but you also couldn't leave him alone to battle Bakugo. You had to make a decision. And fast.

"Y/n! What are you doing!? Go!" Izuku said.

Your fists were clenched so hard they were shaking. You were in a dilemma. You couldn't let Izuku alone with Bakugo, but he had a plan in his mind; you couldn't change that. You didn't notify Izuku on time so-

"I'll be back quickly!" you flew towards the direction you remembered Uraraka went, as fast as you could. You didn't like this...What if Bakugo was even more angry with you now? He doesn't like unfinished business. And if you don't get there in time? Izuku may be hurt. You had to hurry and find Kirishima before any of these things happen- "There they are!"

Kirishima was about to wrap the tape around Uraraka's hand. You were faster, though. You wrapped yours around his arm and separated Uraraka from him "Game over, spiky hair."

"Aw, man I was so close! And what's with you and Bakugo giving names to everyone?" Kirishima said.

"Uraraka, do you know the plan?"

"Yes, Deku told me a few minutes ago."

"Great. Go find Iida and we will be there as fast as we can."

"On it!" Uraraka said and ran off to find the weapon.

"Well, I guess I'll go back to the monitor room." Kirishima said "See ya, Y/n."

'Okay. Fortunately, I found them quickly enough. Now I can-'

A loud explosion was heard from the direction you left the boys. It was so powerful it made the whole building tremble.

No...

No,no, no. NO!

You took off immediately. You knew something bad would happen if you let them alone. Why did you leave!? What were you thinking!? Are you that stupid!? Izuku may now be badly hurt! You have to hurry back to them.

"Izuku!? Are you alr- What the-" The place was a mess. The explosion had created a big hole on the building. Everything was covered in smoke, you barely saw Bakugo in front of you "Bakugo...What...What did you do...?"

"Heh? So, you're back?"

As the smoke slowly cleared you noticed Izuku on the ground a few meters away from Bakugo.

"Izuku! Are you okay!?" you said as you flew towards him, but you were stopped by Bakugo who grabbed your leg and smashed you on the ground in the opposite direction "Argh! Well, that hurts."

"You'll hurt more than that, bird brain." he stretched out his arm to get his blast ready to fire it "Why did you run away from our fight, huh? Was I not that big of an opponent for you? Is that it?"

You covered yourself with your wings as you switched them to their steelform, to protect you from the blast but-

"Tch. You're so stupid." you felt him wrap something on your leg. When you opened your wings again, you saw it was the capture tape "To think I would hurt you like that."

"You had no problem blasting Izuku." you said back to him.

"I don't care about that nerd."

"So, you care about me?"

He stayed silent for a minute. Just kept staring at you like he was trying to find an answer on your face.

He let go of you. "Well, now you're not in my way anymore." he said and started walking to Izuku "But to answer your question, birdbrain, I used one of my gauntlets on him."
