Operation: Make Him Fall For Me

Chapter 6

“Okay lang yun. It’s not a big deal.” Sagot ko nalang kahit na gusto ko talaga makasabay ng graduate si Sophia.

“Sabagay. Pero mas mabuti sana kung mag-aaral ka na ngayong pasukan. If ever man, magiging batchmates kayo ni Drix. Tumigil din yun sa States eh."

"Ganun ba? Speaking of him, asan ba siya? Wala ata siya dito."

"Nasa kwarto pa ata niya. may gagawin pa daw siya eh."

"So, dito na siya mag-aaral sa Pilipinas?"

Tumango naman si Tito, "Yeah, nagustuhan niya daw dito kaya mage-enroll siya."

"That's good to hear." sabi ko.

"Mom, pahingi tubig. Please" sabi ni Phia. Natapos na pala sila sa pagtatakbo.

Binigyan naman siya ni Tita ng tubig sabay tawag kay Ash.

"What's the problem?" tanong ni Ash.

"Wala pa rin si Hendrix, Puntahan mo kaya sa kwarto niya,para makakain na siya ng meryenda."

"Okay" sabi ni Ash.

"Ash,wait. Ako nalang. I have to get something sa room. I'll pass by his room naman." Offer ko. Nakalimutan ko din kasing dalhin yung phone ko.

"Sigurado ka?"

"Yeah. Sige puntahan ko muna siya. Sasabihin ko nalang na pinapatawag niyo siya."

Pumasok na ako sa loob ng bahay at hinanap ang room ni Hendrix. When I saw it, I knocked three times and said, "Hendrix? open this Damn door or else I'll break it." The last part was kinda joke. I can't break it even if I want to.

Walang sumagot. Di din nagopen ang door so I tried to open it and to my surprise, it wasn't locked. I went inside to look for him but to no avail.

"Lizer" a hot voice said when I was about to go out.

"What the hell! You scared the shit out of me!" Talaga namang nagulat ako dun.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to do that." paghingi niya ng pasensya.

"Where the hell did you came from? Wala  ka diyan kanina ah" medyo pasigaw kong sabi.

"I was from the CR" he calmly said. Napaka innocente ng mukha niya while saying those words.

"Why didn't I hear the splashing of the water or even the shower?" I asked.

"I was actually in the tub."

"Oh, okay. Tita told me na bumaba kana para makakain ng meryenda" I said. He didn't give any response. We just exchanged our stares.

He shaked his head as if trying to erase some thoughts and finally broke the silence. "Uhh, Lizer, would you mind going out? I have to change my clothes. I'll just follow downstairs."

I was embarassed. In the first place, why am I still staying here in his room? Why didn't I go out? I want the ground to eat me. Gosh! I didn't knew that he's only wearing boxer! and his damn hot abs i can't help it but to stare, pumunta agad ako sa pintuan niya before my face turns red because of embrassement.

"Kbye" then I shut the door.

Pumunta agad ako sa kwarto namin ni Sophia still thinking about the thing earlier. It was hella awkward.

I looked for my phone. When I saw it under my bed I turned it on directly. I had 13 missed calls from Carlyle and 32 from Mom. What is this? I think there's a problem with Mom and Carlyle.

I didn't bother to open the messages I received. I first called Carlyle since wala pa ako sa mood para makipagusap kay Mom.

"What's the problem, Carlyle?" tanong ko habang kinukuha ang panyo ko.

[Nandito ako ngayon sa mall.] sigaw niya. Dinig na dinig ko ang ingay sa paligid niya.

"So what? Ano ba talaga problema mo?" sabi ko habang naglalakad palabas ng room.

[Ouch. Tulungan mo ko. Pinagpyepyestahan ako ngayon. Heeeeelp] sigaw niya.

"Problema mo na yan. Kbye" sabay end ko ng call. Di ko na kasalanan bakit gwapo siya.

I then called Mom. Nakailang ring muna bago siya sumagot.

[Good thing you called] sabi niya sa kabilang linya.

"What is it now?" maldita kong sabi.

[I'll be straight to the point]

"Make it fast" I said while turning right papuntang garden.

[Your grandpa said you have to go to school this coming school year. . .]

"SHIT" nasabi ko sa utak ko. I wasn't shocked because of what mom said. Di ko na nga naiintindihan sinasabi niya. I was shocked because of Hendrix.

While I was turning right I didn't notice that he was on my way. And  shit. Just shit. We kissed with the other Guzmans seeing us.
