Jamie's last words before he had fallen asleep played over and over in my brain. I turned my head and saw Ellie and Jamie asleep in the blanket fort that we had made. The last 24 hours had been...well, they've been an adventure. It hurt my head to remember what Saskia had done. She had betrayed us all.
What will happen to Saskia? Are we truly safe?
The questions keep coming at me. And it scared me to think that Ellie could be in terrible danger. It was a good thing that I had asked Jamie to train me. This way, I could protect them both. If Saskia was right, then this could very much be the beginning of the end...
