I try and make my book hit that place. That place of pure mesmerization that indulges your thoughts in mere seconds. That place where you're so gob smacked or apprehensive that blinking seems like a time consuming task. That place is a sacred place for us authors, and only if my book accomplishes hitting that spot, I will be satisfied. 

Ladies, and gents, don't forget that independence is a beautiful thing, that you should be proud of. You go get that degree, you go speak your mind to that one teacher, you go to the movies by yourself and still have a freaking awesome time, because independence is awesome. Moreover, you are awesome.
