MUSINGS

Sometimes it takes a fiction to unravel the truth. (Fiona Faith Ross)

"When life gives you lemons, chunk it right back." Ha ha. (Bill Watterson - Calvin and Hobbes)

ABOUT ME

I'm a techy writer and editor who likes writing and reading fiction. Life is tough and my ironic writing style is my way of coping with it.

So, what's new?

In 2017, it's about head down, fingers on keyboard, to craft two major projects.

In 2014 I had an operation. In 2015 I went on trips to Australia and Greece.

In 2016 I'm working on a supernatural thriller screenplay with a production company in LA.

I finally got myself an iPad, so I can work on the hoof, writing in apps like Final Draft and Scrivener, and in WattPad for mobile, of course! I learnt screenwriting and started a new website.

Futuristic themes are my favourite, also techno-thrillers, so I like Michael Crichton, Stephen King, Philip K. Dick, Orson Scott Card, Ursula Le Guin, Margaret Atwood and pretty much any sf author you care to mention.

I like fantasy stuff too, so Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams, amongst others, and crossover ones such as China Mieville and hard conceptual sci-fi like Hannu Rajaniemi, Richard Morgan and Iain M Banks. Other big favourites of mine are Douglas Coupland and Janet Evanovich.

Follow Fiona Faith Ross Author on Facebook for tips for writers. Likes are always welcome.

I can't promise to read your stuff but I do follow back.

Thank you.

That's enough.

Happy Reading!
