I'm what you might consider a hopeless romantic, and I've had more than one great love in my life. You could say the same thing about heartbreak.

It's through these experiences that I've learned how different love can be. I've learned that it can consume you, destroy you, rebuild you, connect you, set you free. 

I'm currently working on my 'Every Other Memory' series - a work of fiction but loosely inspired by my own experiences. With that said, this series has been highly fictionalized to provide captivating stories, with enhanced dramatic flair, not only for my readers but for myself; to let my imagination run wild, reflect, appreciate and even ask the often daunting question, 'what if?'.

Well, what if, indeed. 

As one of my favourite authors put it so succinctly: 
'Neither novels nor their readers benefit from attempts to divine whether any facts hide inside a story.' - John Green, The Fault in Our Stars

For me, it isn't about whether any truths lie in my story, I'll admit they're there, it's a question of where the lines blur between fiction and reality. But, any similarities to real people, places, or locations are purely coincidental, of course. Many names and establishments have been changed in some cases to protect the privacy of those who knowingly and unknowingly inspire these stories.
