Hi all, long time I've been gone. I'm back with a new Billy Bob Travis, Texas angel of death story posted in both Angel at Large and my neglected Bradbury Collection. I've got some reading here to catch up on here on Wattpad too. Hope you've all been well!

@tlryder. That doesn't bother me in the least. We should all be happy, for those that served. I believe Veterans day, was meant to honor all that served, not just the ones that gave up more. That is Memorial Day, that honors those. All are veterans that served during peace or war. So we should rejoice in memory of those that served. That is my opinion, that may not be everyone's opinion.

@jimheter recommended one of your books I haven’t read, but I don’t see it on your published list….Texas ghost stories? (Title right?)

Whelp, after a too-long break caused by summer laziness, I'm back at my Bradbury Challenge again. Beeve & the Demon, a vignette from my abandoned missile silo world. :D https://www.wattpad.com/1255192642-the-bradbury-challenge-beeve-the-demon

Hi everyone! I've been MIA from my own project the last couple of weeks, but I'm still working on it. I have two stories on the way to completion. That won't get me totally back on track but will be a start. I have a bunch of reading to catch up on here too. See you all soonish!

@Jeanpragot Thanks for the encouragement! (I thought I replied to this weeks ago, sorry.)

@tlryder Don't worry too much about falling behind, looks to me like there's darn little work posted on Wpad these days. Must be the hot weather, that's the curse... Think of the headline "GLOBAL WARMING SILENCE YOUNG WRITERS' VOICE," put that on Bradbury. I would, but l already have five, yes five dystopian stories in the work. I count myself lucky if l slap 10 lines on any of them in any given week... Good thing I'm not a young writer. Anyway, hang in there, l hope you are having a good summer otherwise and that, perhaps, l made you smile... :))

"Story stewardship means honoring the sacred nature of story—the ones we share and the ones we hear—and knowing that we’ve been entrusted with something valuable or that we have something valuable that we should treat with respect and care. " -- Brene Brown

@tlryder Sounds like the right thing to do, though there is the easy way --keep it to oneself-- and the hard way --tell when a story ought to be known, or shared. I have a few of these, we all do, probably, waiting for permission or death and eternal silence.

For no good reason other than it is there, I've been on a quest to listen my way through Mozart's entire catalog of available works. (Some of his stuff was lost). I'm up to 1772. He was 17 in 1772. I'm on K 135, which is about 1/5 of the way through his catalog. He was 35 when he died, to give some perspective on how much he produced and how quickly. Interesting journey. So far I've only DNF'd one piece, Ascanio in Alba. I like opera, but this one was to me tedious and the staging of the version I found was so inscrutable that I couldn't figure out what was going on even with the libretto on hand. This boring non-writing update brought to you by much editing to Mozart.

@donnaf1828 Mozart is a little overwhelming because there are over 600 pieces in his catalog. I did a quick search for Australian classical composers and came up with Frederick Ellard's Australian Bird Waltz. It's lovely! Ellard's not the only Australian classical composer, but he seems to be the earliest one.

@tlryder Wow. That's a great idea. I might have to search out some classics and get myself educated. ❤

@tlryder All power to you, tlryder. Rare as it may be, reversing the flow of bits in this fashion is worth so much more than the umpteenth updates cluttering the internet servers of the world.

I have a new drabble up in my Bradbury Challenge collection, and another Hetty Gaines short story, which I've probably done all wrong. :D https://www.wattpad.com/1229129306-the-bradbury-challenge-to-cross-the-black-river
