I am mixed race. I have a 'Mild Memory & Cognitive Learning Difficulty', or 'MMCLD' for short, that has affected my learning through out my life. I can't cope with too much information at once or when things are too fast to understand.



Yet, with help from my late Gran, my school friends and teachers and now the CWG I attend, Open Doors, the community tutors & students on the community courses, who I help teach, my colleagues at Russel's Garden Centre and my colleagues at the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum Coventry, England,  I can achieve anything.



Plus with my long life love of writing and coming up with ideas to solve some of my problems, I am able to get there in the end.



I am so grateful to all who have helped me and are still helping me with confidence and improving my skills. This includes Wattpad, Poetry Train, Google, BBC, Nasa, Esa, Seti, British Space Agency, Discovery, History & National Geographic, especially all the Wattpaders I know + many more.

This is why I love writing and will never give it up...



I have loved writing since I was seven. I started with stories, the first being about my imaginary world I had since 2 years old, but then started putting it into writing and a map from 7 years old. I also grew up with my own culture which has also had an impact in my writting and then in late 2000 to early 2001 and since, I found I was able to write poems as well. 



I never believed I would as I believed I wasn't clever enough.



Then I met someone on a course who was in 'the third group' at school like me and he showed me what he was writing as he couldn't spell a word he knew I could. 



I couldn't believe my eyes, he had written a poem in the way he spoke and I thought if he can do it so can I. 



So I did...
