it's not a trauma response. it's called having fun. duh.

╱ ellie-marie has her silly pillows, buffy has sitting in front of the TV for hours rocking back and forth while watching horror movies (': they're both doing awesome. Right. right guys??

good thing lou isn't here to psychoanalyze me. you are, though. ( she hums quietly and looks up at him. with him, it's easier for her anxiety and fears to be muted. company would be nice. ) but pearl gets it. chucky doesn’t. ( despite her words, she moves over and brings her knees to her chest. )

don't let lou hear you say that. { randy mutters, the expression lacking the fullness of how fond he's trying to be. he knows better than anyone that buffy isn't doing as well as she's claiming. of course he does. } no offense, baby, but that looks like how i coped in '96. if i had to be told charles lee ray wasn't a solid therapist, you have to hear the same about pearl. ( .. ) you want some company?

            * they're doing so good !! never seen two functioning best friends up until them fr !!

╱ sometimes girlhood is being overly attached to your dad after tragic events!!

( she nods along, a comforting feeling being brought with the idea of him just being there. ) uhhh- friday at twelve, i think. they wanna check my leg reflexes and see how they're healing. same thing with the shit on my side. they said, and i quote, "i've never seen someone get so close, yet miss."

'course i will, princess. { the response comes easier to him than anything else will today, drumming his fingers on the table in thought. } what time is it gonna be? we can make a day outta it.

            * ellie-marie agrees❗ they are so twins who have no problems whatsoever

no you / cannot /! you tell momma or dewey everything. :// ( she crosses her arms and sinks into the seat, opening her mouth to begin her rambles. ) okay. so tara told me she's totally in love with elsie, right? and i didn't need her to say that, but still. then she said that els didn't like her back. and i said otherwise. and i know i totally spilled her business, but it was needed. anyways, now tara is planning on asking her out. except, knowing them, it'll take twenty years. i'll have a kid by the time they hold hands romantically.

hey, your old man can keep a secret ! { the rebuttal is paired with a fond grin as he watches his daughter, reminded in a flash of juliette herself. } wanna tell me what's going on, boo?
