I realize this is going to sound silly coming from a would-be writer but what can I say? After 25 years of hard labor where hard work got me nothing but more of the same I found myself no longer to do it anymore. So I write in hopes of contributing and more importantly of earning a living. Thus far I haven't been able to do much of either.

Still writing is all I have. "Woman Born, Woman Torn" being my first attempt at the Great American Novel it ended up being too long for one volume, so I broke it down to 3. (148 chapters if you're wondering but don't worry about Josie being too old to enjoy her happy ending when it comes, for the second 2 volumes only cover 2 weeks of her life. I used volume 1 to set her up as the greatest underdog of all time)

I realize most people can't get enough of themselves and this might sound strange but since I"m nobody I figure it would be better for me to tell you why I write rather than elaborate on who I am:

I write to reach out in ways I never could before; to expose vulnerable parts of me while still remaining in seclusion (hence the pen name)

Sometimes I feel that I write to drive myself even crazier; to feel pain I never dreamed possible along with highs I can only imagine and a few only I can imagine.

I write to show that all is not futile even when the odds seem against you; to rip victory from defeat; to run the gauntlet from losing my mind to finding it again

I write to make things right even if only in fiction; to allow karma to kick ass; to vent frustrations; to escape my reality; and to expose my soul in hopes of finding salvation.

Most of all I write to play god; to pull justice out of thin air; to create a wonderful world where things go the way they should...eventually; where good still conquers evil and love conquers all...and because it's so sinfully fun!

P.S. I hope you find I write to entertain as well!
