I hate reading books that are part of a series and the series never get finish. They are not stand alone books so they leave you hanging at the end of the book with no answers so you pretty much just read through this long a*%^ book for nothing.
Then you go to their profile to see if the next book is even started only to find its been two years since they finished the first one and their is no second book in site. Not cool man, not cool.
I seriously think that you should not put a green check to say you book is finished if you left your readers hanging. It's like canceling a tv series in the middle of the season. Pisses everyone off doesn't it? Same here!
Or you get these authors who the book is freaking awesome! Then you get to the end and its like 'what the hell man'. Totally ruined your whole experience.
I think they should have warnings that say Caution crappy ending! Not "unexpected twist". The only twist in that book was you. Your twisted little mind that said 'I'm gonna torture my readers by making the book great and putting a crappy ending(insert evil laugh here).
That is not a twist it's a sickness and you should seek mental help. There are pills for that you know.
Sorry for ranting but I just read this awesome book that was supposed to be the first of a series and the ending left you hanging with obviously no continuation in site since its 2014 and the book was written in 2011.

@queerrr It wasn't crappy it was short and sweet. I thought it was very good and wouldn't have mind reading more of it.
