Wow I just re read this from when I read it back in 2016 and I fell in love with it all over again. I don’t know if you’re still active here or not, but I just wanted to say how this story has made me fall in love all over again. It makes me sad that I grew older and started to focus on things besides River, but this is such an amazing reminder of how much I once loved and will always love him as my life goes on. It’s made me want to go through pictures and re read Last Night at the Viper Room all over again! I’m actually 21 now, so it’s wild to read with it ending with Carmen being 21 and at the time of my first read I was only 17. But just thank you so much for writing this in the first place. It made me feel like I felt when I first discovered him and I just wanted to know everything about him, and to feel as close to him as possible because I felt he was such a beautiful person.
