I got my start writing in a place a lot like this one, except it was back in the late 1990s when the Internet came in the mail on discs from a man named Steve Case, and all I wrote about was Star Wars. Since then I've written the same novel several times over and a boatload of short stories. I also went to college, traveled the world a bit, and interned for two publishing companies. I now write and edit professionally. Someday, after I'm famous, I will change this box to read something snappy like, "I make up stories for young people. Sometimes they read them." But for now, we'll stick with this. The big story I'm sharing on Wattpad right now is called Soulwoven. It's about two brothers and how their decisions shape a world torn between loving and hating itself. It's about a lot of other things too, but that's good for a start. I hope you enjoy it. Also, I sometimes do first-page critiques here on Wattpad. When I do, I always reserve a few spots for my followers, so if you want more info on them, make sure to follow me. If you like my stuff, you can check me out: On Twitter @realjeffseymour), where I sometimes tweet as I write or edit and put up links to interesting things. On Facebook (facebook.com/realjeffseymour), where I post more links and attach commentary to them. On my blog (blog.jeff-seymour.com), where I talk about my chapters as I post them, discuss my career as a freelance writer and editor, post yet more links, and occasionally dispense writerly and editorial wisdom.

@MDWyvern Thanks! I'll definitely check it out. Looks like a good option.

@realjeffseymour You know, I would recommend instead of Kickstarter, go through IndieGoGo.com. They have a flexible plan that makes it so that if you do not reach your goal, you still get the money.
hi can you follow me ?:}
Dear Friends and Readers, It’s survey time! I’m building the skeleton of the Kickstarter for Soulwoven, and I want your help! I’ll talk more about it below, but for now, link here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/XR6QC6G Here’s the deal with the survey. Kickstarter lets people like me fund projects they don’t have the scratch to pay for themselves, like buying professional services for long books. It also lets people like you support the creation of art by pledging money to a project. In return, you get special, one-of-a-kind rewards. The survey is going to help me figure out what to offer as those rewards. I’m choosing to publish Soulwoven this way because I want to make you guys as big a part of the process as possible. And I want to make sure that there are backer rewards in the Kickstarter that you’ll get excited about. So please drop in and share your opinions. It’s a four-question survey, and well worth your time if you want to help this thing get off the ground and get some awesome stuff in return. In. Other. News! My fiancee and I bought a house. The process of that has been taking up a great of deal of time that would have otherwise been spent writing. You have my apologies for that. But! I’ve finished a full draft of Soulwoven: Exile, the sequel to Soulwoven. It’s now waiting for me to finish some work revising Nadya so I can get Nadya back to an agent who showed some interest in it. Once I’ve done that, I’m going to take one last look at Exile and start sharing it with my trusty team of early readers. Hopefully it will be on its way to you guys by the end of the summer. I’m extremely excited about the stories I have coming up for you guys. If you haven’t yet, check out Three Dances and buy a copy via the links on Wattpad or my website. The more books I sell, the more time I get to spend writing. Cheers and springtime love, Jeff
@ShellyK99 Aww, shucks! You'll make me blush. So glad to hear it! I hope you enjoy the rest of it, too! :-)
@SomewhatDistracted Sure is! I'm looking forward to it though. I always love settling into a new place and finding all the little things that are different about living there than living anywhere else.
I read the first few paragraphs of Soulwoven and I immediately hit 'Follow' on your page. It was that good! Which is weird, because it takes a few chapters for me to decide whether I want to read it, follow the author, and by the end of the book, stick to my 'Top Favourites' list. :D
Well, that is a move! I'm originally from Indiana.
@realjeffseymour awesome ^~^
