Funny story, I started out hating to write. My mother encouraged (forced) me to write for half an hour after school each day as an outlet for my energy and imagination.  I reluctantly complied, and eventually fell in love with the art.  In high school I began writing longer sci-fi and thriller stories.  Northwoods is one of the stories that was born during that time.

It is my dream to become a published writer, but I am excited nonetheless at having an opportunity to get my work out there and get input on it. I am confident that my book will give you chills and make you think twice about going out at night...

I love camping and swimming, hiking and exploring the forest.  I am a reasonably good photographer and occasionally someone pays me to do a wedding or family pictures. I love history, especially of World War II, and I like to explore the history of the places that I live in or visit. Most of my stories stem from these loves and experiences.

My favorite movies and shows are sci-fi (I'm a Trekkie AND a Jedi wannabe), horror, and historical dramas.  Some of my favorite music groups are the Beatles, Billy Joel, Coldplay, Marilyn Manson, FallOutBoy, and a ton more.  I am also a former high school band geek, and I love orchestral movie scores (check out Michael Giacchino, James Newton Howard, and Hans Zimmer!).  Some of my favorite authors are Dean Koontz, Chris Walley, Diane Carey, LA Graf, Alan Foster, TL Hines, Nathaniel Philbrick, and Jeff Shaara.

I have a wonderful, brilliant, and hilarious little boy who makes life worth living and I hope that one day he will enjoy my stories as well. I want to leave a great legacy for him and an example he can look up to.
