None of my works are dropped. I just write when I feel like it . The nico di angelo fic chapter currently has a 6K word count and I'm only halfway through, and my marauders fic has the next 4 chapters outlined with the first 2 having at least 2k words each so far (planning on bringing each up to around 10K because there's a lot of ground to cover).

Currently nearing 10K words on my upcoming chapter. After that's up and posted, I'll be taking a break to focus on my exams which are just around the corner. I'll probably be able to return to my work properly after the month of August.

Sorry for any delays! I only have the motivation to write because oncology is boring. BUT it's only a 2 week appointment so this won't last long.

My absence is entirely due to med school. I don't think I can write anything this week so the weekend will have to suffice. Whenever I return, I just collapse so like, there's nothing new in the drafts except for those 2500 ish words

Starting and ending a chapter is a huge pain in the ass to deal with. Taking and confirming with references to be as 'canon' as possible is another problem. Anyway, I don't think I'll be releasing the next chapter anytime soon, although I'm 1300 words in. I prefer introspection over dialogue and action so – yeah . . .

Not 14 year old me thinking I was the peak of writing–

That aside, I've updated Dark Phoenix to chapter 4. Hyperfocus works in mysterious ways but I'm not complaining . Chapter 5 is in the works but this is a heads up to y'all – I do my final edits on AO3. The HTML is a pain to deal with, but it allows me to go through each and every paragraph without missing any typos (at times). The only reason I'm still using THIS app is because its easier to write on AND I enjoy those in-line comments – something AO3 really needs.

Worry not, I don't bs my way through the first draft to begin with, so Wattpaders don't have to ditch my story.

As for my updating schedule – it's non existent. I'm a 3rd year med school student, no longer that teenager with ample free time (I'm 20, please don't attack me ), and I just don't feel like writing until I read something mind-blowing.

I plot as I go, although I do have an inkling as to how the story will progress (and end? In a way?).

          Have a great day!
